Carrying a rifle and with two little ones by his side, he prepared to go and lead the wolves.
As he left the warehouse and walked onto the main road of the regiment, he bumped into Xu Jinbu. He waved and called him over.
"Deputy Regiment Commander Zhuang, is there anything I can help you with?"
Xu Jinbu adjusted her glasses, clearly in a bad mood, though she didn't show it on her face.
He spent the whole day following Zhuang Mingcheng around, enduring cold stares all day long. He had no idea what he had done to offend this man; it was really strange.
"Comrade Xu Jinbu, I apologize for my poor attitude today..."
"No, no, Deputy Regiment Commander Zhuang, it must be something I did wrong. Please criticize me, and I will reflect deeply on it."
Xu Jinbu adopted a very humble attitude, showing none of the arrogance she had displayed a few days ago.

Zhuang Mingcheng wanted wolves, but not simply for their meat.
He looked at the remaining three, picked out one with good fur, carried it on his shoulder, and turned to walk away.

"Awoo~"
