"Oh dear, Little Flower, Little Yellow Dog, come down quickly, you two come down quickly."
Zhuang Mingcheng, carrying a lunchbox, saw this scene as soon as he entered the house.
He quickly walked to his wife and took Xiaohua and the little Tibetan fox from her arms.
"Zhuang Mingcheng, what are you doing? I've only been pregnant for a few days, is it really necessary for you to act like this?"
Lu Fangfang was quite helpless.
My husband is making a big fuss over nothing. He's getting really excited about the fact that I feel pregnant.
Zhuang Mingcheng chuckled and didn't argue.
He moved a chair over and placed it next to his wife, then picked up Xiaohua and the little Tibetan fox and put them on the chair.
He took his wife's hand and placed it on Xiaohua's head.
Lu Fangfang, Xiao Hua, and Xiao Zanghu all stared at him blankly.
Forehead……
"Honey, it's safe to touch like this, it's fine. You can play with Xiaohua and the little yellow dog."
Zhuang Mingcheng rolled up his sleeves and prepared to cook dinner.
"Wait a minute, I have something important to tell you."
Lu Fangfang quickly pulled Zhuang Mingcheng back.
Seeing that her husband was looking at her, she then pointed to the table.
"Um?"
Zhuang Mingcheng first saw a piece of animal bone, and then he saw half a cigarette box.
Upon seeing a line of foreign letters above, his smile immediately vanished, and he became serious.
“Marlboro, a foreign cigarette brand. An old man from the fifth team down from the ranch came to our farm to sell animal bones. After I collapsed, I found half a cigarette pack stuck to this piece of animal bone.”
“No one here is qualified to smoke this kind of cigarette. I felt something was wrong, so I brought it back to you. You can decide what to do with it.”
Zhuang Mingcheng looked at his wife with some surprise, "How did you know these cigarettes were Marlboro?"
Forehead……
Lu Fangfang opened her mouth.
Um……
Not wanting to lie to her husband, she could only glare at him and say, "It's none of your business how I know. I just know. I'm not a spy. You should figure out what to do first."
Zhuang Mingcheng scratched his head and said awkwardly, "I was just curious. My wife is definitely not a spy."
He looked at the cigarette pack on the table again, picked up a corner, and examined it carefully.
He had seen this kind of cigarette before.
His father had captured this kind of cigarette during the Korean War, and he kept it at home, reluctant to smoke it.
After observing for a while, I couldn't see anything special.
However, the presence of this cigarette box here was quite unusual, so he carefully put it back.
"Wife, get me a clean handkerchief."
Lu Fangfang hurriedly went to the inner room, found a freshly washed, unused handkerchief, and handed it to him.
Seeing her husband wrap the cigarette box in a handkerchief, she suddenly felt ashamed; she had handled it so carelessly.
"Honey, I'm going out for a bit. If I don't come back by tonight, don't wait for me."
Lu Fangfang knew her husband had made a decision, and she quickly nodded.
Seeing that her husband was about to leave, she quickly picked up the bones on the table and handed them to him.
"The cigarette box from back then is stuck to this bone; you should take it with you."
This unidentified animal leg bone is so big that it can't be wrapped in a handkerchief.
Zhuang Mingcheng took the animal bone and turned to leave.
"Wait a minute."
"Honey, what's wrong? Are there any other clues?"
Lu Fangfang took out a small notebook from her pocket, picked up a pencil, and quickly started drawing.
She drew a simple sketch of the old man's face based on his appearance that morning.
Zhuang Mingcheng leaned closer to look, and couldn't help but be surprised.
"The old man said he's from the fifth team of the ranch. Go to the fifth team and let their people take a look; they should be able to recognize him."
After hesitating for a moment, Lu Fangfang added, "Mingcheng, the old man who brought us animal bones didn't have any bad intentions..."
"Don't worry, we're just going over to ask about the situation."
Zhuang Mingcheng took the sketch paper, turned around and walked out.
Be careful.
Lu Fangfang looked on, still somewhat worried.
If he really is a spy, then this person is definitely not simple, and may even be part of an organization.
After all, coming to the Northwest, to the heart of the motherland, is not something that can be easily accomplished.
"Don't worry, honey. Get some rest and don't stay up late tonight."
Zhuang Mingcheng turned back and smiled at his wife before striding out of the yard.
He didn't go anywhere else; he left his house and went straight to find Xiao Aiguo.
After a while, the two went to Gao Dajiang's house and called Gao Dajiang out.
This was a very unusual matter. The three of them discussed it behind closed doors in the group and decided not to reveal anything until a decision was reached.
"Xiao Zhuang, take a team and go to the Fifth Team to find out what's going on. Lao Xiao, don't go back tonight, just stay in the regiment. I'll take some men to the outpost tonight. I have a feeling that this spy is here for our regiment."
The three looked at each other, their faces showing some seriousness.
If it's really for the sake of the troupe, then this matter is not so simple; it's a matter of great importance that reaches the highest levels.
Looking at the cigarette box, Gao Dajiang felt a sense of relief. "Thanks to Xiao Lu's vigilance, if we really catch the spy, Xiao Lu will get the credit. Xiao Zhuang, you should go now."
Zhuang Mingcheng nodded and went out fully armed.
The three of them each performed their duties, and soon the troupe was mobilized.
...
Family compound.
Lu Fangfang stood at the door and looked outside.
The weather is bad tonight; even the moon is obscured, and it's pitch black outside; you can't see anything.
"I don't know if it will go smoothly..."
She stood at the door for a moment, stunned, before turning around and going inside.
