"Little Flower, Little Flower, slow down."
In the mountains and forests, Lu Fangfang, panting heavily, called out in a low voice.
As soon as they entered the woods, the little guy led her up the mountain. She followed for a while, but then she couldn't keep up.
This area is all pristine forest; her two legs are no match for Xiaohua's four.
Ahead, Little Flower looked back, then ran back.
"Meow~"
"Take your time, it's still early. We have time to find a place to settle things, no rush."
Lu Fangfang wiped the sweat from her forehead and bent down to touch Xiaohua.
Looking at the scar on its fluffy head, she snorted again, "Little Flower, don't worry, I will definitely avenge you."
She took off her shoulder bag and threw it directly onto the donkey's neck.
She also carried a water bottle and binoculars; aside from a Type 56 pistol and a wood-chopping knife, she put all the weights on the little wild donkey.
Still a little uneasy, she tugged at the donkey's ear and whispered, "You stubborn little donkey, don't you dare desert me, or I'll make you pay."
"Oh...ah..."
The little wild donkey snorted and licked her face.
"Go! Go! Go."
Lu Fangfang rolled her eyes and pushed the stubborn little donkey away.
After resting for a while, she called out and followed Xiaohua up the mountain to the north.
On the way, she held a five-and-a-half-inch pouch in her hand, looking around warily.
After walking for nearly half an hour, Xiaohua led her to the highest point of the hillside.
Ahead, looking down, is a deep valley with a stream flowing slowly from east to west.
Lu Fangfang looked into the valley and seemed to realize something.
She knew this place all too well; the valley below was where she and her husband had once panned for gold.
"Could it really be the snow leopard that hurt Xiaohua? Or was it the dark shadow from the forest back then?"
Lu Fangfang muttered to herself, "Of all the wild beasts in this place, I've only ever seen one: the snow leopard from back then."
There was another dark figure she encountered on her way back with Zhuang Mingcheng, but she couldn't make out what kind of beast it was. She suddenly felt a little nervous.
Beside them, the little wild donkey looked down, its ears slightly lowered.
It glanced at Lu Fangfang and silently took a step back.
"Um?"
Lu Fangfang snorted softly, then grabbed the donkey's ears and pulled the stubborn little donkey over again.
"Little Flower, where to next?"
Little Flower raised her head, looked around, and then lowered her head to sniff.
"Meow~"
It called out to Lu Fangfang, then turned and ran towards the eastern hillside.
"Hey? Xiaohua, slow down."
Lu Fangfang held a rifle in her left hand and a wood-chopping knife in her right.
There were many bushes and vines on the mountain, and she cut them as she chased after them.
However, Xiaohua ran too fast, and in just a short while, she could no longer see Xiaohua.
After a while, a roar of a wild beast suddenly came from the hillside in the distance.
"roar!"
"Little Flower!"
Lu Fangfang was taken aback, and immediately became anxious.
She casually placed the wood-chopping knife at her waist, gripped the rifle in both hands, and strode quickly towards the hillside.
"Little stubborn donkey, keep up."
Behind them, the little wild donkey was much faster.
It passed Lu Fangfang and ran towards the hillside.
"Hey? Where are you going? Don't let a wild beast eat you."
Lu Fangfang was extremely anxious. This was outrageous! These two little devils at home were such a handful!
She took a deep breath and quickened her pace after releasing the safety pins 5 and 6.
...
On the sunny slope in the distance, a large patch of low shrubs grew, bearing many small blue wild fruits.
At that moment, a huge black bear was sitting in the bushes, picking blue berries and stuffing them into its mouth.
"Meow~"
Standing on the mountain, Xiaohua couldn't help but roar angrily at the black bear below.
Immediately, it felt a pang of regret, but it was all too late.
The black bear looked back, not taking Little Flower seriously.
However, we can't waste the meat that's delivered to our door.
It also remembered the little creature. It had almost gotten a piece of meat while hiding in the woods, but a pesky guy had disturbed it and let it escape. How annoying!
It picked up another handful of blue berries, stuffed them into its big mouth, chewed them, and then slowly stood up.
"puff!"
With a flick of its short tail, it sank into the bushes and pooped a pile of blue poop.
Xiao Hua looked down at it, then looked back, and hesitated.
"roar!"
The big black bear down the hillside had already charged towards Xiaohua.
At this moment, it showed no signs of laziness; on the contrary, it was quite agile.
With a body weighing nearly a thousand pounds, it rushed towards Xiaohua at an extremely fast speed, just like a bulldozer, which looked quite frightening.
"Meow~"
Xiao Hua had made up her mind. Instead of leading the big black bear towards Lu Fangfang, she ran quickly eastward.
However, the black bear was too fast, which was completely disproportionate to its size.
Xiao Hua was underage and injured. The distance between them was getting closer and closer, and they were about to catch up when suddenly a donkey brayed from the west.
"Oh...ah..."
The little wild donkey has caught up.
Seeing its natural enemy, the black bear, it trembled and roared a few times.
"boom!"
The big black bear glanced back and stopped abruptly.
Turning around, it looked at the Tibetan wild ass, a few drops of saliva dripping from the corner of its mouth.
