Chapter 192 Catching a Thief

Wei Mo followed behind Li Xiuxiu and Zhou Fen. Li Xiuxiu and Zhou Fen were also very nervous. The two of them teamed up and shouted to the side:

"Look everyone, there's a thief here! He's stealing things! Come quick, catch the thief and see who stole what."

After Zhou Fen shouted, the passengers in the car turned their attention to this side. The thief was startled by Zhou Fen's voice and hurriedly stood up, trying to run away.

However, Li Xiuxiu and Zhou Fen stood in front of the thief, while inside the carriage, two fierce-looking men were also rushing towards them.

A woman was following behind the two men. Wei Mo glanced back and knew that the woman was likely the thief's accomplice.

In this tense atmosphere, the thief threw the bag on the ground and prepared to run away, while simultaneously reaching into his pocket.

Seeing that things were going badly, and that Li Xiuxiu and Zhou Fen were still standing there dumbfounded, Wei Mo stepped past them and kicked the thief in the knee.

Although Wei Mo is small in stature, he is incredibly strong, far exceeding the strength of an adult.

His physical abilities were also terrifyingly strong. With Wei Mo's full-force kick, the thief's knee was bent, and a heart-wrenching scream rang out.

"Ouch...it hurts so much! Big brother, second brother, come quick! My leg feels like it's broken."

The thief, in pain, strained on one leg and fell to the ground, repeatedly touching the spot where he had been kicked with his left hand.

He pulled a dagger from his pocket with his right hand and moved backward little by little, while constantly gesturing with the dagger.

When Li Xiuxiu saw the thief pull out a dagger, she quickly pulled Wei Mo behind her. She and Zhou Fen surrounded the thief, leaving him with no way to escape.

However, they didn't notice the three people coming from behind. Wei Mo quickly reminded them:

"Aunt Xiuxiu, three more people are coming over there. They might be accomplices of this thief."

Wei Mo's voice was loud, and the passengers in the group all looked in the direction Wei Mo was pointing. They saw two men and a woman running quickly toward Wei Mo.

Several passengers also stood up and shielded Li Xiuxiu and Wei Mo behind them, after all, men in this era were still particularly courageous.

People flocked to the ranks of those fighting crime in response to such acts of bravery.

Not only male passengers, but several female passengers also went out into the train aisle, filling the entire aisle.

Wei Mo and Li Xiuxiu were surrounded by passengers. Wei Mo was too short to see clearly what was in front of him.

The thief, who had been kicked to the ground by Wei Mo, was unable to escape. Wei Mo confessed:

"Aunt Xiuxiu, Aunt Zhoufen, you two keep an eye on him. I'm going to check the situation ahead."

After Wei Mo finished speaking, he stood up on his train seat and looked ahead. He saw that the three criminals' accomplices—two men and one woman—were being stopped by passengers. Two of the men there were saying menacingly:

"Get out of my way, or I'll kill you."

His words frightened some people, and several women wanted to back away.

But seeing that there were about forty or fifty people on their side, they mustered up their courage.

At the front of the line was a burly man, a soldier who had just returned home on leave and was now rejoining his unit.

Faced with such a situation, he naturally risked his life without hesitation. Without wasting words with the three people in front of him, he kicked the fierce man.

Once the first person took action, and since there were many people on their side, soon all the brave people in the carriage joined in.

With their numerical advantage and the help of the strong soldier, the three men on the other side of the carriage were beaten until they cried out in pain.

Even the female companion had her face scratched by several female comrades, her face bruised and swollen, and every part of her body ached.

These women fight even more brutally, pinching tender flesh to death, leaving no visible wounds. Her screams are the loudest there.

Wei Mo breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the three men being subdued by the helpful passengers. He was genuinely worried that these good Samaritans might be in danger.

His gaze turned back to their side, where the thief was brandishing a dagger. Li Xiuxiu and Zhou Fen dared not approach, and they remained locked in a stalemate.

The thief couldn't escape again; his knee had already been broken by Wei Mo's kick. He hardened his heart, knowing he couldn't get away.

He then tried to climb over to Wei Mo, Li Xiuxiu, and Zhou Fen, slowly moving his body while constantly brandishing his dagger.

Seeing that the man was still struggling, Li Xiuxiu frowned. She and Zhou Fen both took two steps back to prevent the man with the knife from hurting them.

Then Li Xiuxiu glanced at the overhead luggage rack, picked up a large cloth bag, and threw it at the man.

These were other people's luggage and belongings, and Li Xiuxiu didn't think too much about it at the moment, so she threw bag after bag at the man.

They quickly knocked the man to the ground and buried him under the bag. Li Xiuxiu was about to step forward when Wei Mo grabbed her arm.

"Aunt Xiuxiu, don't go. It would be bad if you got hurt. Daggers don't have eyes. Let's wait for the police here. If he gets up again, we'll keep hitting him."

Li Xiuxiu could only nod and did not step forward. The soldier, who was somewhere, found a rope and tied up the other two men and one woman with it.

After doing all this, he walked towards Wei Mo. The passengers in the carriage were extremely excited about their victory.

They even punched and kicked the two men and one woman who had been particularly aggressive earlier. Everyone's life is very difficult these days, but they are resorting to crooked and evil methods.

If one person is being bullied by four others, they might not even dare to call the police, thinking how tragic it would be if this happened to them.

So they attacked with extreme brutality, and soon the three were beaten unconscious by the angry mob. The soldier then approached Li Xiuxiu and asked her:

"Comrades, are you alright? Where is the criminal?"

Li Xiuxiu shook her head, pointed to the criminal buried under the luggage, and then said a reminder:

"Hey comrade, be careful. I've buried him under my luggage. He has a knife. Be careful not to get hurt."

The soldier nodded upon hearing this. He stepped forward fearlessly and moved the luggage aside one piece at a time, remaining vigilant for any potential dangers.

But things didn't go as he expected. Li Xiuxiu was born with superhuman strength and could throw anything. The man with the knife was knocked unconscious by the heavy luggage that Li Xiuxiu threw at him.

After all the luggage was moved, the thief was found lying unconscious, his head bleeding profusely from being hit by Li Xiuxiu.

The soldier first took the dagger from the thief's hand, and then pulled the thief up.

The thief was limp and was dragged by the soldiers to the side of the other three criminals.

Passengers nearby quickly made way for the soldier, who soon threw him next to three other men and tied him up with rope.
