Chapter 259 Preparing baby supplies for grandchildren, utilizing high-quality maternal and infant resources from the spatial storage.

These words were like a wake-up call. Lin Wanqiu slapped her thigh, a glint of light flashing in her eyes: "That's right! How could I have forgotten about the space!"

She put down her needlework, closed her eyes, and with a thought, entered the space of her ancestral jade pendant.

This space was the cheat code she activated on the verge of death after transmigrating, and it was also the foundation upon which she survived in this era of scarcity. Within the space was a vast expanse of black soil, filled with all sorts of vegetables and fruits, and a huge warehouse piled high with supplies she brought from the modern world. Over the years, relying on the food and supplies in the space, she not only fed herself and Nian'an, but also founded the Chenji Food Factory, leading her fellow villagers to prosperity.

Lin Wanqiu's consciousness traversed the space rapidly, soon arriving at a corner of the warehouse. Here, she had stockpiled a large quantity of baby and maternity supplies, all carefully selected high-quality goods. Baby diapers, pure cotton onesies, soft swaddles, additive-free baby formula, gentle baby toiletries… everything was readily available, a dazzling array.

Her gaze fell on a box of baby formula, an imported brand she had specially chosen—rich in nutrients and perfect for a newborn. There were also baby clothes, all made of pure cotton, as soft as a cloud to the touch, gentle on the baby's delicate skin. Lin Wanqiu felt a surge of joy; these things were far more practical than the clothes and blankets she made herself.

With a thought, she took the baby supplies out of her spatial storage. Instantly, the bedroom floor was piled high with boxes and packages of all sizes.

Shen Tingzhou and Shen Nianxi stared wide-eyed in surprise at the sudden appearance of the items. Shen Nianxi, especially curious, ran over, squatted down, and touched the boxes with foreign writing on them: "Mom, what are these? I don't recognize any of the words on them."

"These are gifts for my little nephew," Lin Wanqiu said with a smile, stepping forward to open a box and taking out a white onesie. The onesie was printed with cute little bear patterns and was incredibly soft.

"It's so soft!" Shen Nianxi couldn't help but reach out and touch it, her eyes sparkling. "My little nephew will look so good in this."

Lin Wanqiu nodded, then opened another box and took out a can of milk powder. Looking at the instructions on the can, her smile deepened: "This is imported milk powder, it's very nutritious. Yue'e just gave birth, and she might not have enough breast milk. With this milk powder, we don't have to worry about our little nephew going hungry."

Shen Tingzhou walked over and looked at the mountain of maternity and baby products piled on the ground, his eyes filled with amazement: "These things, I'm afraid you can't find them in the entire county, right?"

"Of course." Lin Wanqiu proudly raised her chin. "These are all specially prepared by me, a hundred times better than anything on the market. Our grandson must use the best."

As she spoke, she organized the items into categories. Diapers, wipes, and toiletries were placed in one box; clothes and blankets in another; and formula and baby food in a separate box. She also carefully labeled each box, clearly stating what was inside, for easy retrieval later.

Shen Tingzhou watched her busy figure, his eyes filled with tenderness. He knew that Lin Wanqiu had poured all her love into these things. From a widow struggling to survive in the mud to a happy woman with both a son and a daughter, soon to hold her grandson, all the hardships she had endured and the tears she had shed had transformed into boundless joy at this moment.

After tidying up these things, Lin Wanqiu remembered something and frowned slightly: "Right, Yue'e is an overseas Chinese, and her eating habits are quite different from ours. When she's pregnant, she'll definitely want to eat some of the flavors of her hometown. I need to look in my space to see if there's anything suitable for pregnant women to eat."

As she spoke, she entered the space once more. This time, her gaze fell upon another corner of the warehouse. There, various kinds of ingredients were piled up, including bird's nest, sea cucumber, abalone, as well as all sorts of fruits and snacks. On a whim, she took out the bird's nest and fruits suitable for pregnant women.

The bird's nest was a top-quality product she had specially stocked up on; it nourishes yin and beautifies the skin, making it ideal for pregnant women. The fruits included durian, mango, and mangosteen, all Singaporean specialties. Yue'e would surely be delighted to see them.

"Mom, what are you doing with so much fruit?" Shen Nianxi asked curiously, looking at the durian on the ground. "This thing smells stinky."

"This is called durian, it's a specialty from your brother and sister-in-law's place," Lin Wanqiu said with a smile. "Although it smells bad, it tastes really good. When your sister-in-law comes, Mom will make durian cake for you."

"Great! Great!" Shen Nianxi cheered, full of anticipation for the smelly fruit.

Lin Wanqiu also arranged the bird's nest and fruit, placing them into a special box. Looking at the boxes piled on the floor, she felt a deep sense of satisfaction. These things, though not worth much money, were the best gift she could give her grandchildren.

As night deepened, the moonlight outside the window, like water, spilled onto the windowpane, casting a hazy glow inside. The fire in the stove gradually died down, but the room remained warm. Lin Wanqiu sat by the window, gently stroking a newly made little garment in her hands. Shen Tingzhou sat beside her, holding a book, but occasionally glancing up at her, his eyes full of smiles. Shen Nianxi had already fallen asleep on the table, a sweet smile still on her lips; she was probably dreaming of her little nephew.

Lin Wanqiu looked up at the bright moon outside the window. The moonlight, so bright and clear, bathed the land of the Hongqi Production Brigade, draping this slumbering land in a silver veil. She thought of Nian'an and Yue'e, far away in Singapore, and her heart filled with longing. She wondered how Yue'e was doing. Was her morning sickness severe? Was she eating well?
