A cold glint flashed in Liu Ke's eyes as she nodded. "Go ahead."
After Jiang Ci left, Liu Ke quickly found someone to receive the American.
Liu Ke was not one to sit idly by and wait for her fate; she quickly went to find the director of the Protocol Department.
The director also accompanied Guo Zhen to meet with other leaders.
Liu Ke stood there for a while.
The director greeted Guo Zhen and received a nod from Guo Zhen before going over.
"What's wrong?"
Liu Ke quickly informed the director about the matter.
The director's face darkened for a moment. "Mingzhu is in charge of this event. After it's over, you go and ask her directly who is in charge of the person in charge of the M country side. Grab that person and see who is trying to sabotage me at such an important time!"
"OK."
The director then asked, "How's it going with Jiangci?"
Liu Ke: "They should have brought the people from Country Y in by now."
The director softened his expression, his words tinged with admiration, "How did she discover the differences between the two countries? She's never been abroad."
Liu Ke said, "Jiang Ci speaks a pure London accent, but I think the gentleman from country Y who taught Jiang Ci must have told her about the differences between the two countries. Jiang Ci also knows that Alaska is in the Arctic Circle."
The director laughed. "It seems she should be able to do the job very well."
Liu Ke smiled and said, "Yes."
After finishing his report, the director quickly returned to his office.
Guo Zhen glanced at him and asked, "What happened?"
The director quickly said, "It's nothing, just a minor, harmless matter."
