"You...you're mistaken, I'm not scared!" Baihua's mother-in-law's wrinkled face, which resembled a chrysanthemum, trembled as she forced herself to speak.
Zhou Mingli's calm yet imposing gaze swept over her. Whether he believed her or not, he stood up and headed upstairs.

Zhou Mingli was holding someone in his hand—wasn't that Bai Hua's mother-in-law?
Seeing this, Bai Hua's expression changed, and she rushed forward, shouting, "What are you doing! Let go of my mother-in-law right now!"
She originally intended to shove Zhou Mingli to make him release his mother-in-law, but as soon as she rushed in front of him, Zhou Mingli stepped back and released his mother-in-law.
Baihua's mother-in-law was still unsteady on her feet and collapsed to the ground.
"Ouch...ouch...this old woman is being tortured to death!" She collapsed to the ground and began to wail.
