Nearly a month after Xia Lei and Liu Yinyin were taken away, they were finally transferred back to the Public Security Bureau to investigate other cases.
Currently, Shan Fangdu is in a vegetative state and his death is unknown. After learning that Liu Yinyin and Xia Lei had been taken to the police station, Shan Yingguo and his wife immediately rushed to the police station.

"Stop trying to talk your way out of this," Guo Zhen said impatiently. "You should know how many unspeakable secrets you have."
Before he could finish speaking, Guo Zhen saw Xia Lei laugh and say directly, "I've said everything I needed to say."
Guo Zhen's pupils contracted slightly.
With a strange glint in his eyes that seemed to say, "I'm going to fight you to the death," Xia Lei said, "Now that I'm in this state, how could I possibly let you go?"
"Guo Zhen, I thought you were some kind of good person. I saved your daughter's life back then. When I was in jail, I begged you for help, and you took my things and even forced yourself on my woman. Did you really think I would cover for you?"
Guo Zhen said expressionlessly, "I'll remind you again, you were divorced when I got together with Liu Yinyin."

"While I'm out there, I can still help you and your son. But you've brought shame to the Xia family. Do you think your son can expect any good treatment from them?"
Xia Lei's expression changed slightly at the mention of Xia Xi, but he quickly recovered and said coldly, "I have nothing to say to you!"
He turned and shouted for the police, ignoring Guo Zhen completely.
Guo Zhen was so angry that his face turned ashen.
He didn't leave immediately; instead, he waited a while longer.
Before long, Liu Yinyin was also brought out.
She looked to be in even worse shape than Xia Lei.
Not only was his face dark and grimy, but he also looked disheveled. The person who usually wore elegant and luxurious clothes was now wearing the same kind of work clothes. His skin, which looked shiny from the outside, was now made to look extremely dull by the gray clothes.

Guo Zhen had no intention of saving Liu Yinyin. He walked faster and faster, and as he came out of the police station, he was suddenly drenched in rain.

Liu Yinyin may not know what that jade seal represents, but Guo Zhen truly understands what it means.
