Chapter 454 Admission Letter

Shao Yishan couldn't answer this question immediately.

After thinking for a while, he said, "This is a color picture tube, also known as the three primary colors. Three independent electron beams bombard phosphor dots, which is the basis of a color display screen."

"To improve the color gamut and frame rate, the arrangement of phosphors needs to be reorganized to improve color purity, and the electron beam positioning needs to be more precise to prevent color overflow..."

"And then there's field frequency and resolution..."

"The circuit also needs to be modified..."

Shao Yishan is indeed one of the top students in the physics department at their school.

After listening to him, Zhou Mingli muttered to himself: How did you end up working as a fitter?

Shao Yishan stared at him expectantly.

Zhou Mingli remained silent, then decisively said, "You are a good fit for my factory. I can give you a salary of one hundred yuan per month, and if you make any technological innovations, I will increase your salary."

one hundred!

That's more than double his current salary!

Shao Yishan's breathing became somewhat rapid.

"This...is that much?" he began to stammer.

Zhou Mingli smiled faintly, "This is something a talented person deserves."

"Are you coming?"

Shao Yishan nodded without hesitation, "Yes!"

"Oh, right! I have another classmate who's a graduate student now. He's a bit withdrawn and not doing too well..."

"Better than you?"

Shao Yishan was speechless, but he still had to nod in agreement.

"Alright, let him come too."

Zhou Mingli took out a business card he had printed in advance from his bag. "This has an address on it. Once you've settled your personal matters, come to this address, and I'll have HR handle the formalities for you."

Shao Yishan took it and looked it over.

"So your name is Zhou Mingli."

Zhou Mingli was puzzled. "Didn't I tell you my name?"

Shao Yishan: "No."

Okay.

Zhou Mingli didn't dwell on the matter. Meeting Shao Yishan was a pleasant surprise, but he still needed to find a few more talents specializing in signal processing and digitalization.

So Zhou Mingli was still wandering around several universities.

Nowadays, everyone prefers to work for state-owned enterprises, so it's really hard for private companies like Zhou Mingli's to recruit people. But Zhou Mingli isn't in a hurry.

When I got home, I ran into the postman who was delivering a package.

"Huang Zheyue! Is Huang Zheyue home?!"

Zhou Mingli's mind raced, and he realized that it might be Huang Zheyue's college admission notice. He quickly walked over and asked, "I am a resident of courtyard number 27. Huang Zheyue is my nephew. Is this his mail?"

The postman said, "It's his mail; he has to come and pick it up himself."

He's not home right now.

The postman looked him up and down and said, "Then call your nephew back and have him take the mail. I'm not leaving now."

Seeing this, Zhou Mingli knew he was being cautious, so he nodded and rode his bicycle to Xidan.

Quite a few people helped him sell his goods.

Besides Sister-in-law Yu, Cheng Ke, Shen Ting, and Er Zhu, who were also on holiday, came along as well.

Erzhu was helping his older brother sell goods in another location.

Cheng Ke and Shen Ting were helping Huang Zheyue and Sister-in-law Yu in Xidan.

Huang Zheyue and his few recent graduates mainly sold his cassette tapes and stationery.

Believe it or not, this stuff is really popular with students. High school students and middle school students buy it as stationery, and college students buy it as cassette tapes. No matter how much stock Huang Zheyue takes, he can sell it all. Business is booming.

Zhou Yang and Zhou Miao were also shouting their wares from the side, both of them having gotten a lot tanned this summer.

No wonder these two kids have developed such big appetites. They follow Huang Zheyue around selling things every day, shouting at the top of their lungs. How could it not be exhausting?

"Uncle Zhou, what brings you here?!" Shen Ting saw Zhou Mingli first and quickly stood up from the crowd.

Zhou Mingli walked over and said, "The postman is here; there's mail due this month."

Huang Zheyue jumped to her feet. "My package!"

Cheng Ke quickly said, "Has your acceptance letter arrived?"

Huang Zheyue's face immediately lit up with joy, "We're not selling today! Let's pack up and go!"

"Why not sell? We'll keep an eye on it for you," Cheng Ke said. "Business is so good right now."

Shen Ting nodded, "Cheng Ke and I will watch the stall for you. You should go back now."

Before Huang Zheyue could nod, Zhou Mingli said, "The three of you have similar grades. If Zheyue's admission notice comes out around now, I think yours should be on their way too."

Zhou Mingli smiled as he looked at the three boys, "Aren't you looking forward to your acceptance letters?"

Cheng Ke and Shen Ting's hearts were filled with excitement.

This business is completely unsustainable.

Sister-in-law Yu called out from the side, "Hurry up and pack up your stall and go home, don't delay important matters! Where's the notice!"

Huang Zheyue agreed, and he told the customers, "We have to go back now. We're not selling today. If you want some, come back tomorrow! I'll be there first thing tomorrow morning!"

The customer knew he had been accepted into university and kindly said, "Great! Congratulations! You've got a university place!"

The group quickly packed up their stall.

Huang Zheyue, Cheng Ke, and Chen Ting ran ahead, while Zhou Yang and Zhou Miao chased after them, shouting, "Wait for us!"

Zhou Mingli greeted his sister-in-law, whose goods were almost sold out. "Sister-in-law, come to my house tonight, and I'll cook for Zheyue to celebrate."

Sister-in-law Yu beamed with joy, "Done!"

He also had other things to do, so he didn't stay in Xidan for long and went home quickly.

Coincidentally, the mailman also delivered mail for Cheng Ke and Shen Ting.
