Zhou Mingli paused for a moment, then lowered his head to cook.
Jiang Ci, "Stop pretending to be a coward by remaining silent."
“I wasn’t pretending,” Zhou Mingli said in a low voice. “Widow Wang did come over, but I ignored her and went to harvest wheat elsewhere.”
Jiang Ci looked Zhou Mingli up and down. "Didn't you really like that one?"
Zhou Mingli looked up at her and asked, "Which one?"
The moment their eyes met, they both fell silent. Jiang Ci seemed to realize something and turned her head away.
Jiang Ci did not answer, and Zhou Mingli did not press for an answer. He only said, "I saw who the man who was having an affair with Widow Wang was."
Jiang Ci asked, "Who?"
Zhou Mingli said, "Zhao Wei, the educated youth who married into the production team's family and was the accountant."
Jiang Ci: "?"
ah?
There were several educated youths in Shanding Brigade. Apart from a few young male educated youths who were not yet married, the others were either married or married to girls from the countryside. Zhao Wei was a teacher at the production team's primary school and also the son-in-law of the production team's accountant.
Although he was called a son-in-law, Zhao Wei was more like a son-in-law who lived with his wife's family.
Zhao Wei went to the countryside even earlier than Jiang Ci. He was educated, but his family was too poor to find him a job, so he went to the countryside.
Zhao Wei was handsome and caught the eye of the accountant's daughter. They got married in less than a year, and now Zhao Wei and his wife Chunhua have three children.
The youngest one is still in Zhao Wei's wife Chunhua's belly.
Jiang Ci knew Zhao Wei and his wife Chunhua, but they had never spoken.
But she knew that Chunhua was not a good-tempered wife. This country girl had a fiery temper, and anyone who offended her would definitely get into trouble.
Jiang Ci remained silent.
The fact that Zhou Mingli mentioned Zhao Wei meant that he knew something about it. The two of them were both harboring ill intentions, so they didn't say anything more and quickly prepared dinner.
After the meal, Zhou Mingli and Jiang Ci took Zhou Yang and Zhou Miao to take a bath.
The family lay in bed, barely exchanging words, and soon fell asleep.
Jiang Ci, however, didn't sleep well in her dream.
I wonder if it's because I think about it during the day and dream about it at night.
While making dinner, I casually mentioned Zhou Mingli's type of girlfriend, and all sorts of random things started popping up that night.
After getting married, Jiang Ci and Zhou Mingli spent little time together, and their first time together was quite outrageous.
Jiang Ci recalled that they had argued about something and had been in a cold war for a long time. When they met again, they had both been drinking.
Because of that incident, they started arguing again on the way home.
Jiang Ci, with the halo of a rich heiress, was parachuted into her family's company as a senior executive. There were many people who looked down on her and didn't take her seriously. Jiang Ci was under great pressure and was not in a good mood. For some reason, she brought up that unpleasant matter.
She then got annoyed after arguing with Zhou Mingli for a couple of minutes and wanted to leave him, but he kept following her and nagging.
Jiang Ci was extremely annoyed and raised her hand to slap him and tell him to get lost.
The slap landed on Zhou Mingli's face, but Jiang Ci didn't even look at him and continued walking forward.
Suddenly, a pair of hands appeared around her waist, the thin fabric unable to conceal the presence of the large, hot hands.
Despite his slender appearance, Zhou Mingli possessed extraordinary strength, lifting her up almost entirely with one hand.
"You're right, we're husband and wife now, there's no need to make things so clear." One side of his face had a clear slap mark, but he was frighteningly rational and clear-headed.
"Jiang Ci, did you feel better after that slap?"
He strode into the living room and slammed the door shut. The servants and butler remained quietly in their rooms, not disturbing the true owner of the house.
Zhou Mingli tightened his grip on her wrist, bringing her face closer to his other cheek. His eyes seemed to hold a fire that could start a wildfire, burning away reason and devouring the string called restraint. "Want to do it here again?"
"I'd rather not hit you than let my hand hurt!" Jiang Ci kicked him. "Let go."
Zhou Mingli didn't understand many things in this circle, so he listened to Jiang Ci very much. If she told him to go east, he would never go west.
But the person who was always obedient in front of her did not move at this moment.
Alcohol amplifies people's evil desires and emboldens them.
Jiang Ci watched as the person who had just slapped her stared at her intently for a long time before suddenly lowering his head and kissing her palm.
Jiang Ci has many ways to release pressure under high pressure, and all of them make her feel extremely happy, so Jiang Ci never includes rolling on the bed sheet among them.
He kissed her from her palms all the way down to her neck, close to where the blood flowed, like ink dripping into pure white, spreading in an instant and staining everything black.
Zhou Mingli's lips moved to her chin, his excessively red, thin lips opening and closing, "Jiang Ci, can you accept what I'm doing?"
Jiang Ci's mind was in complete turmoil. How could someone who always had the upper hand show weakness?
Alcohol, oh alcohol.
She grabbed Zhou Mingli's tie, lowered her head, and kissed his lips.
They forgot why they were arguing; it was just a case of dry wood meeting a raging fire, ready to ignite at any moment.
The two, who were arguing just a second ago, were kissing each other the next.
Zhou Mingli really doesn't know how to kiss. His kisses are haphazard and disorganized. He even bumps his teeth and dares to stick his tongue into her mouth.
Jiang Ci bit him in pain, thinking he would pull away, but Zhou Mingli paused and suddenly deepened the kiss.
She could barely breathe, her mind was almost completely taken away by him, and the force tightening around her back grew heavier and heavier as Zhou Mingli lifted her up completely.
Coat, bow tie, shirt, long skirt.
As they moved, pieces fell off one by one, and even without seeing the people, it was enough to conjure up a scene that would make anyone blush.
After entering the room, Jiang Ci was wearing very little clothing. Her breathing was unsteady, and she tried to order Zhou Mingli to stop, but before she could speak, Zhou Mingli swallowed her sobs.
