Xu Bing was riding a bicycle, wearing a military green short-sleeved shirt and a two-finger-wide military belt around his waist. He tucked his short-sleeved shirt into his military pants and had a green cloth backpack slung across his buttocks.
He kicked the ground in a cool and handsome manner and stopped beside Xie Wan with a proud look.
"Hey, tell me, what bad things are you doing here instead of going to school?" Xu Bing raised his hand to grab Xie Wan's braid.
"Xu Bing? Come on, give me a ride."
Xie Wan dodged Xu Bing's hand and jumped onto the back of the bicycle without thinking twice.
She directed Xu Bing to chase in the direction Shi Yu left.
"Who are you chasing after? Why should I listen to you?"
"Go after him quickly. If you catch the murderer, I'll give you half of the credit."
Xu Bing was originally a middle school boy. When he heard that Xie Wan was catching a murderer, he immediately put aside his grudge with Xie Wan for the time being.
Xu Bing rode the bike very hard.
The two chased for a long distance, and Xie Wan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Shi Yu's back again.
She patted Xu Bing on the back and said, "Follow the woman in front. Just don't let her find you."
Xu Bing slowed down a bit, turned around and asked, "Are you kidding me? Why is it a woman?"
Xie Wan said: "She is in collusion with the murderer. If we follow her, we should be able to find the murderer."
Only then did Xu Bing continue to pedal hard.
Xie Wan finally reacted and asked, "Xu Bing, why are you here when you're not in school?"
Xu Bing replied angrily: "You're still asking me? Why don't you go to school yourself?"
Xie Wan was surprised and asked, "You followed me?"
Xu Bing said nothing.
Xu Bing really did come here with Xie Wan.
Just now, when Xie Wan was changing trains at Nancheng High School Station, he was seen by Xu Bing.
Xu Bing felt strange when he saw Xie Wan got on another bus.
He thought this was a good opportunity to catch Xie Wan, so he rode his bicycle and followed Xie Wan's bus all the way.
Shi Yu turned several turns and finally came to an alley, parked the car and went in.
Xie Wan asked Xu Bing to stop the car, and the two followed him, but they were stopped at the entrance of the alley.
"Pay the entrance fee, fifty cents per person."
Xie Wan didn't react, so Xu Bing poked her and said, "Hand it over quickly."
Xie Wan gritted his teeth and paid one dollar, feeling a little distressed.
I was wondering where Shi Yu had come to and why he had to pay money.
"Come in!" the man said.
Xie Wan and Xu Bing entered the alley. Everyone they met was wearing a mask. Xie Wan asked, "What on earth is this place?"
Xu Bing said with some disdain: "You don't even know about the black market?"
Xie Wan suddenly realized that in this era, everything needs a ticket, and the existence of the black market is to allow everyone to trade freely in private.
But this is illegal.
There are masks in Xie Wan’s space, which he got from the dog farm.
She pretended to reach into her schoolbag, but in fact she took out the mask from the space.
Xie Wan gave a mask to Xu Bing.
Xu Bing glanced sideways, "You are quite well prepared."
Both of them put on masks.
Xie Wan asked cautiously: "It's broad daylight, and no one came to check?"
Xu Bing said: "Do you think these people can easily set up a black market? They must have established good connections."
Xie Wan huddled behind Xu Bing, looking around.
She saw people selling sausages, eggs, and many people who had nothing in front of them. When customers passed by them, they whispered what they were going to sell.
Hearing someone asking if he needed grain coupons, Xie Wanhao wanted to buy some.
But then she discovered Shi Yu.
Shi Yu stood in front of a young man who was selling something.
The important thing is that the young man was bald.
The two exchanged a few words and Shi Yu left.
The bald man followed her and walked out of the alley.
Xie Wan stamped her feet and pushed Xu Bing to follow: "Let's go."
Xu Bing was also looking at the sellers on the black market with envy, but was pushed by Xie Wan and muttered, "You are not a fool, are you? You spent one dollar to come in, but you don't buy anything."
Xie Wan said: "Buy a ghost, business is more important."
They followed Shi Yu and Zheng Hu out of the black market.
Not long after the two people in front walked, they entered a simple house that looked like a shack.
Xie Wan released Xiao Zhi from the space and let Xiao Zhi enter the house to eavesdrop.
Xu Bing saw a mouse appear out of nowhere and was so frightened that he jumped up and almost screamed.
Fortunately, Xie Wan covered his mouth in time.
But they still made some noise, and the door of the shack opened. Zheng Hu came out with a fierce look on his face, and shouted, "Who is it?"
Xie Wan and Xu Bing had already retreated to the corner of the alley.
The two hid behind a household's pile of garbage and waste.
Zheng Hu came out and looked around, but didn't see them.
When Zheng Hu turned around the alley again and heard footsteps, he should be going back to the shack, then Xie Wan breathed a sigh of relief.
She glared at Xu Bing beside her and spat, "How dare you, a grown man, be afraid of mice?"
Xu Bing looked embarrassed and said stubbornly, "Who is scared? It's just that the rat appeared too suddenly, so I was scared for a moment."
Xie Wan said to Xu Bing: "Let's wait here."
Xu Bing was puzzled: "Didn't you say that he might be a murderer?
If we don't call the police, what are we doing squatting here?
And I think that woman is your relative.
You're not lying to me, are you?"
Xie Wan didn't expect that Xu Bing actually recognized Shi Yu.
She thought it was a good idea. When the murderer of Tao Hongmei was caught, with Xu Bing as a witness, it would be difficult for Shi Yu to deny the connection.
Xie Wan said: "I don't have any concrete evidence yet. If I report it to the police now, they won't pay any attention to me."
