Chapter 104 The last wish is to go home

"Jin Chang? How old are you?" Wei Dingbang suddenly asked.

The man cried so hard that his voice was intermittent: "Brother Jinchang looks to be in his forties or fifties."

Wei Dingbang breathed a sigh of relief. The old squad leader was only two years older than him and might just be a prisoner with the same name.

The old squad leader had made military achievements and was a disabled retired soldier. He was a loyal, resolute and brave soldier. It was absolutely impossible for him to do anything illegal, let alone commit a crime and be sent to the farm.

He is quite skilled. Even though he only has one arm left, three or two ordinary people cannot get close to him.

The poor guy who was about to be beaten to the ground by the man was definitely not the old squad leader.

“Brother Jinchang is only 38 years old, and he’s only been on the farm for three years, but he’s aged ten years by doing this.

He has always been the one protecting us newbies.

But those people were too insidious, they put sleeping pills in his food...

He broke his leg directly...

A dozen people surrounded him and hit him with sticks as thick as their arms...

It took more than an hour to fight...

The bones in his legs were all smashed to pieces. Even if he only had one breath left, I would still carry him and escape. But he pushed me down from the wall and said he couldn't hold me back and asked me to leave quickly.

I could only look back as I ran, watching him being dragged back to the wolfhound den on the farm by those beasts like a dead dog...

Those wolfhounds, those wolfhounds, they are raised on… raw meat… they are more ferocious than wild wolves…”

"What did you say?" One-armed, 38 years old, protective of his people, and his name is Jin Chang. With so much corresponding information, that person must be the old squad leader.

Wei Dingbang's eyes were bloodshot. He grabbed the man's arm and lifted him up from the ground. He asked through gritted teeth, "You said he was drugged and knocked unconscious, and then he was beaten by more than a dozen people for more than an hour, his bones were all smashed, and he was thrown into a wolfhound den?"

"Yes, yes..."

"How long?!"

"ah?"

"Let me ask you, how long has this been going on?"

"Two, two days..."

Two days!

The hope for a wounded man with shattered bones in his hands and feet and unable to move to survive in a den of wolves and dogs whose ferocity has been fully aroused is extremely slim.

Wei Dingbang clenched his hands tightly, his chest heaving violently, the meridians in his neck tremblingly stood up, his face was grim, and blue veins bulged from his neck to behind his ears.

"Take me to the farm immediately!" Wei Dingbang's voice burst out from between his teeth, word by word, with a kind of shocking power.

The man was trembling all over, and he shook his head and said, "My legs are weak, I can't walk anymore."

He escaped from the farm and walked for two days and two nights without stopping before he finally reached Hongxing Hospital.

He was so hungry that he sneaked into the hospital to find something to eat.

But food is very precious nowadays. The patients scrape every grain of rice before eating, and their bowls are as clean as if they have been washed.

He stood guard at the place where the manure buckets were placed, but couldn't find anything to eat.

He went to pee, and seeing the yellow liquid flowing out of his body, he felt a pang of heartache. For a moment, he even thought like a madman that if he really couldn't hold on, he would drink urine to stay alive.

Wei Dingbang picked up the man, carried him to the roof like a chicken, and pointed to the corner behind the water tower and told him to stay there.

I went downstairs to borrow a pen and paper, picked up the remaining boiled egg, and went back to the roof.

There was no one behind the water tower.

102.

Wei Dingbang frowned and pursed his lips as he walked towards the door on the rooftop.

The pen made a crackling sound as it was squeezed by his fingers.

After he left, a head slowly emerged from the top of the water tower.

He hesitated for a moment, then slowly climbed down from the water tower and sat on the ground, gasping for air.

A dark cloud suddenly came over and enveloped him.

He looked up subconsciously.

Wei Dingbang looked at him steadily, with no expression on his face, but he was inexplicably frightening.

The tall body stood in front of the man like a solid wall of flesh, and the shadow cast by it covered the man tightly.

The man's breath was choked, and he felt like a lamb cornered, helpless and helpless, at the mercy of the man in front of him.

"You, you left, didn't you?"

Wei Dingbang calmly handed over the pen and paper, "Draw me a map of the route to the farm."

The man's hand was shaking as he took the pen, and the pen almost fell to the ground.

Wei Dingbang casually stretched out his hand and the pen returned steadily to his hand.

The man's eyes suddenly lit up, and he picked up a pen and started drawing on the paper.

At first, he painted very smoothly, and the lines were as smooth as flowing clouds and water.

After a few minutes, he slowed down, frowned, and continued to paint while recalling.

After more than twenty minutes, he almost completely stopped, tilting his head and thinking hard.

He escaped in such a hurry that his memory of the journey out of the farm was a little fuzzy.

Naturally, I don't remember the route very well.

“Draw based on your feeling first, and then change it if it’s not right,” said Wei Dingbang.

The man thought about it, lowered his head and started writing, drew a section, paused, and finally crossed it out.

"No, I can't. I was so panicked at that time that I really can't remember. I was afraid that I would draw it wrong and lead you astray and hurt you." The man threw down his pen and paper, holding his head with a painful look on his face.

"I'm useless. I'm so useless."

Wei Dingbang silently put away the paper and pen, turned around and left.

The man suddenly raised his head and called him. A little hope slowly jumped out of his eyes, making his lifeless eyes bright.
