Chapter 3 Military Husband, Eight Pack Abs

The third child was young, wore open-crotch pants, and walked unsteadily.

He held the saliva-stained steamed bun in his hand and raised his little hand to give it to Li Fengbei.

Li Fengbei didn't dislike it at all and opened his mouth to take a small bite.

He touched Sanzai's face with his big hand and praised him for being good, which made Sanzai giggle.

Li Fengbei took a shower, went into the house to change his clothes, and then turned into the small kitchen.

There were sounds coming from the small kitchen; he was busy making dinner.

The three kids followed him in and out, completely forgetting Qiao Anle's existence.

Only the third cub would call out "Mom" in a baby voice when he walked past Qiao Anle with his short legs, and then continue to follow Li Fengbei.

Qiao Anle has just arrived in this era, and if he wants to integrate into this family, he must take it slow and steady.

She had some free time.

I got a small stool and sat in the yard.

As the evening breeze blew, I dispelled the wild thoughts in my mind while watching the busy figure of the man in the small kitchen.

After taking off his military uniform, Li Fengbei was wearing a simple shirt and trousers. Although the clothes were clean, they were old and probably had been there for several years.

It is totally inconsistent with his identity as a battalion commander of the first army.

On the contrary, Qiao Anle...

Qiao Anle looked down at what she was wearing. It was a beautiful dress made of Dacron.

Dacron was the most fashionable material in the 1970s.

It seems that even though their relationship is not good, Li Fengbei is a responsible husband who tries his best to satisfy his wife's wishes.

Such a good man, but she didn't know how to cherish him. Now he has become a bargain for her.

Qiao Anle curled her red lips and smiled cunningly and sweetly.

Her eyes were still fixed on Li Fengbei.

The legendary hidden disease of men... She couldn't see it, all she saw was his good figure with broad shoulders and narrow waist.

As for disfigurement...

Qiao Anle narrowed his eyes and looked more carefully.

When Li Fengbei tilted his head to talk to Dazi, he saw a hideous scar on the man's forehead, which spread into the black hair on his scalp.

When he was in the army, he had a short buzz cut, so the scar was particularly obvious.

Now, after a year in the countryside, Li Fengbei's hair has grown longer, and his short dark hair hangs down naturally, covering some of it vaguely.

If you don't look carefully, you can't see it clearly.

In Qiao Anle's eyes, this scar was not disfiguring at all, but rather made Li Fengbei's rough and cold aura look even more wild.

You can tell at first glance that he is very capable!

In a flash.

Qiao Anle's thoughts couldn't help but wander again.

When the sun sets.

Dinner was also prepared that day.

A few steamed breads and three steamed buns, made of white flour.

Li Fengbei received the white flour buns from the commune. They were the rations according to his military rank, but they were not available every day. They were only distributed on special days.

A steamed crucian carp.

The crucian carp was caught by Li Fengbei in the river. It didn’t taste very good, with a hint of earthy smell, but it was a rare meat dish on the table.

In addition, there are stir-fried wild vegetables and pickled vegetables available all year round.

The small dining table was placed under the eaves, and the whole family sat around it neatly.

Li Fengbei was the last one to sit down. He didn't pick up his chopsticks immediately, but looked at the three little kids beside him.

The eldest child: "Dad, Mom, it's time to eat."

Second child: "Dad, Mom, it's time to eat."

The third child: "Dad, Mom, it's time to eat."

Three young and clear voices spoke seriously.

The eldest son, who had refused to call his mother before, spoke word by word under Li Fengbei's gaze, even though he looked awkward.

The active third child also sat properly, staring at the white flour buns, but did not clamor for food.

The three cubs were well-behaved and obedient in front of Li Fengbei.

It also has a bit of... the feeling of early childhood military education.

Qiao Anle almost burst out laughing.

She pursed her lips to suppress her laughter, but a faint smile still escaped from her lips.

Li Fengbei paused as he was holding the steamed bun.

Paused in the air.

Then he put it in Qiao Anle’s small bowl.

The man frowned and thought deeply: How could she... smile at him, and smile so beautifully.
