Chapter 103 Newly Married

After Han Yan closed the door, he walked forward and gently held her in his arms.

Her body stiffened at first, then slowly relaxed.

"Nervous? Huh?" A gentle and low voice sounded in her ears.

"Yeah." Lin Shu responded softly.

Han Yan chuckled and suddenly picked her up.

"Ah." Lin Shu exclaimed, his hands subconsciously wrapped around his neck, and his body became extremely stiff again.

Han Yan carried her to the bed and gently put her on it. Then he lay down beside her and reached out to cover them both with the quilt.

Lin Shu closed his eyes tightly and lay there motionless.

"You look beautiful today." Han Yan's tone was full of happiness and pride.

Lin Shu hummed softly, a small leap of joy rising in his heart.

"Haven't I asked you yet if you like wedding clothes?"

"I like it." Lin Shu said in a low voice.

"Were the cakes we had this afternoon delicious?"

"It's delicious." As he said that, Lin Shu's body relaxed unconsciously.

"Uncle Zhou saw it, didn't he?"

"Yeah." Lin Shu opened his eyes and looked at him, "Thank you."

"You are welcome."

“…”

As they were talking, they held hands without knowing when.

At some point, the two of them bumped heads...

At some point, his lips touched hers...

I don't know when, there were a few more clothes on the ground...

I don’t know when…the distance disappeared…

The night is dark and full of meaning.

The next morning.

Lin Shu, who was half asleep, moved his body uncomfortably and suddenly felt something pressing on his waist.

She wanted to reach out and push it away, but when she touched it, she immediately opened her eyes in shock.

What came into view was a magnified handsome face, and the confusion in her head was swept away. It was Han Yan.

She breathed a sigh of relief when she realized it was his arm that was on her waist.

She quietly withdrew her hand and stared at the face in front of her in a daze.

Han Yan completely lost his usual indifference while sleeping, and now he looked more like a gentle and elegant nobleman.

Suddenly, she noticed his eyelashes trembled slightly, and she closed her eyes immediately in fright.

After waiting for a while, there was no movement, so she quietly opened her eyes again. Before she could react, Han Yan suddenly pulled her into his arms.

"Ah." Lin Shu let out a short exclamation. The heat and touch coming from her body made her whole body hot.

"Awake, huh?" Han Yan said in a low and slightly hoarse voice in her ear.

Lin Shu hummed softly and whispered, "Let's get up quickly."

She saw the sunlight filtering through the gaps in the window curtains and knew it was getting late.

Han Yan hugged her tighter and said gently, "Are you still feeling uncomfortable? Do you want to lie down a little longer?"

Lin Shu's cheeks suddenly became hot and she felt like she was about to be cooked.

"No... I'm not feeling uncomfortable." She stammered, struggling slightly, "Let's get up quickly."

"Yeah." Han Yan finally let her go and sat up.

When Lin Shu saw his shirtless upper body, his gaze seemed to be burned. He quickly withdrew his gaze and quietly hid his head in the quilt.

"Hahaha..." Han Yan's suppressed laughter came.

Lin Shu pursed his lips.

After a while, Han Yan hugged her across the quilt and said, "Change your clothes first. I'll go out and get you some water to wash up."

After hearing the door "click" twice, being opened and closed, she quietly stuck her head out. Seeing that Han Yan had indeed gone out, she immediately sat up.

She took a light breath with a "hiss" sound, and felt a slight discomfort in some parts of her body and her waist.

The scene of last night emerged in her mind. Her face became hot and she took a while to calm down before quickly changing her clothes.

At this time, Han Yan came in with an empty wooden tray in one hand and a bucket of water in the other. After putting them in the bathroom, he said, "I'll bring in breakfast."

"No, no." Lin Shu quickly held him back.

She just... wasn't seriously ill. If the people in the team knew about this, they would probably die of laughter.

Han Yan looked at her lovingly, reaching out to tuck the strands of hair stuck to her face behind her ears: "Okay, I'll wait for you."

Lin Shu nodded shyly.

After washing up, the two of them walked towards the kitchen.

On the way, they met their eldest sister-in-law Li Qiu. She gave them an ambiguous look and said with a smile, "Swallow, good morning, sister-in-law."

Lin Shu glanced at Han Yan uncomfortably and shouted with him, "Good morning, sister-in-law."

At this time, Aunt Liang stood at the kitchen door and shouted to them, "Yanzi, Lin Shu, come quickly and have breakfast."

As soon as they entered the kitchen, Aunt Liang smiled brightly and took Lin Shu's hand: "My daughter, you must be hungry. I made brown sugar eggs for you. Eat them while they are hot."

Lin Shu nodded and sat down at the small table in the kitchen.

There were two large bowls of steaming noodles on the table, each with two fried eggs on top, and some green vegetables next to them.

At this time, Aunt Liang brought another large bowl of brown sugar and eggs and placed it in front of her, smiling and saying, "Eat this first, then the noodles."

After saying this, Aunt Liang stared at her with sharp eyes.

Lin Shu suddenly felt pressured and couldn't help but look at Han Yan.

As if he knew her mood, Han Yan said, "Mom, it seems the chickens in the backyard haven't been fed yet."

"I have fed the chickens a long time ago..." Aunt Liang said, glanced at Yan Linshu, and suddenly clapped her feet, "Yes, yes, yes, if you hadn't told me, I would have really forgotten. You guys eat, I'll go feed the chickens." After saying that, she looked at Lin Shu with a smile before turning around and leaving.
