Along the way, Chen Feng would chat with Han Yan from time to time.
Lin Shu understood that he wanted to please Han Yan, so he occasionally cooperated with him a few times.
This caused Han Yan to look at her several times.
Lin Shu looked innocent and blinked at him.
Han Yan's eyes showed helplessness, but he didn't embarrass Chen Feng.
The group of people were quite harmonious along the way.
The train arrived at the station in the evening of the next day.
After saying goodbye to Chen Feng, Lin Shu and the other two went straight home.
When we arrived at the production brigade, it was already dark.
Before they approached the yard, they saw a man standing at the gate of the yard in the distance, looking in their direction.
"It's mom." Han Xue said excitedly.
Lin Shu and the other two looked at each other and quickened their pace.
Aunt Liang seemed to have seen them as well and trotted towards them.
"Yanzi, Shushu, Xiaoxue." She stood in front of them with an excited look on her face. She held Xiaoxue's hand and her voice choked with sobs, "You've gained weight, you've gained weight."
"Mom, mom..." Tears welled up in Han Xue's eyes.
Lin Shu and Han Yan stood aside silently.
In fact, Lin Shu felt guilty inside.
They didn't tell Aunt Liang and the others that Han Xue was almost harmed by Zhou Jianyun.
Although this was Han Xue's strong request.
"Let's go home." After a while, Aunt Liang wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and said.
"Mom made your favorite egg custard." Aunt Liang held Han Xue with one hand and Lin Shu with the other, "And the brown sugar cake that Shushu likes."
Finally, she glanced at Han Yan with a look of disgust: "None of yours."
Han Yan looked helpless.
Lin Shu's eyes curved slightly.
In fact, they all knew that Aunt Liang was just coaxing people. Every time Han Yan came home, she would cook his favorite food for him.
As soon as they entered the main hall, the sitting little tiger immediately jumped up and ran to Lin Shu, hugging her thighs: "Second sister-in-law, second sister-in-law, I missed you so much."
"I miss Xiaohuzi too." Lin Shu touched his head.
Father-in-law Han Shan, elder brother Han Xin, and elder sister-in-law Li Qiu all looked at them happily.
After chatting for a while and finishing their dinner, they returned to their rooms to rest.
Han Yan walked into the room and looked around curiously.
Just like the house he had just returned to from the hospital.
"How is it?" Lin Shu asked with a smile.
Han Yan shook his head, then nodded.
Lin Shu raised his eyebrows slightly.
"I still can't remember." He looked disappointed.
“But,” he said seriously, “just like the houses in the staff housing complex, it feels familiar and intimate.
"Don't worry." Lin Shu comforted.
She had actually already made plans for him not being able to recover his memory.
"Yeah." Han Yan walked forward and hugged her.
the next day.
Lin Shu and Han Yan went to visit Dr. Zhang.
He squatted on the ground and fiddled with the herbs.
"Grandpa Zhang." Lin Shu shouted excitedly.
She felt relieved to see that Dr. Zhang was still the same as before.
"Yeah." Doctor Zhang's eyes lit up when he saw her, and he immediately stood up. His body swayed for a moment before he stood firm.
Lin Shu was startled and said worriedly, "Grandpa Zhang, don't be so anxious in the future."
"Okay, okay." Doctor Zhang agreed readily. He looked at Lin Shu and nodded, then frowned and turned to look at Han Yan.
"Han boy, have you failed to take good care of my granddaughter?" He said with a stern face.
A hint of doubt flashed across Han Yan's face, but he immediately replied, "Yes, it's all my fault. I won't do it again."
Doctor Zhang stared at him for a few seconds and snorted softly: "And later?"
"There is no future." Han Yan said seriously.
"If you need food, tell me. Look at her chin, it's so sharp it could kill someone."
"Yes, I promise to make sure she eats more."
“…”
Lin Shu smiled as he watched the two of them bickering, but didn't help either of them.
She had long discovered that although Dr. Zhang had been in the brigade for quite a while, he did not have close contact with anyone.
They accompanied Dr. Zhang in sorting out the medicinal materials.
At noon, Lin Shu cooked a delicious meal.
"I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time." Doctor Zhang looked very satisfied.
Lin Shu looked happy.
Suddenly I remembered the bits and pieces of information I heard in the hospital about Dr. Zhang's daughter and son.
She shook her head in her heart. If Dr. Zhang didn't say it on his own initiative, she would not interfere privately.
afternoon.
Lin Shu went to the Youth League Home alone.
Xiao Qiao hasn't changed much.
Xu Juan looked a little darker and thinner.
"Shushu," Xu Juan saw Lin Shu and grabbed her hand, jumping up and down. "Why are you back?"
"Why are you so thin?" She stopped, looked Lin Shu up and down and asked, "Did Han Yan bully you?"
She raised her fist: "Let's go and settle the score with her."
Lin Shu felt warm in his heart and quickly shook his head: "No, he didn't bully me."
It seems that I have indeed lost weight recently because of the incident between Han Xue and Han Yan.
"How stupid! Why would Comrade Han bully Shushu?" Xiao Qiao on the side glanced at Xu Juan.
"How is it impossible?"
"What's with your brain?"
"I grew up eating rice."
“…”
Lin Shu watched the two of them bickering like they used to, and time seemed to have gone back to the past.
"Okay, okay, Shushu finally comes back, I don't want to argue with you." Xiao Qiao stepped forward and took Lin Shu's hand, walking towards the dormitory. "Come on, tell me how you are doing in the army?"
"Hey, wait for me." Xu Juan followed behind.
"Yeah." Lin Shu chuckled, looking at the proud Xiao Qiao, and remembered what Lu Zhi said, that she went to the countryside as an educated youth for a man.
