Zhang Tao turned his face away with a stiff expression.
She looked lost and moved her mouth, "Okay..."
There was silence for a moment.
Zhang Tao sighed: "I'll go with you."
"Brother." Zhang Ling's eyes suddenly lit up, "You are so kind."
Zhang Tao pulled the corner of his mouth and squeezed out an ugly smile: "Let's go, I've asked around, he's in the clinic here."
"Okay." Zhang Ling looked happy.
The two people with completely different expressions asked passers-by and walked towards the brigade's clinic.
Health room.
"Come in," said Dr. Zhang, who was sitting at the table writing medical records. He heard the knock on the door and said without looking up, "What's wrong with you?"
After a while, no one answered.
Doctor Zhang looked towards the door in confusion.
"Dad." Zhang Tao smiled. "Long time no see."
Zhang Ling, who was beside him, looked uneasy and whispered, "Dad, are you okay?"
Doctor Zhang was stunned, his expression gradually turned cold. He stared at them for a few seconds and spat out one word: "Get lost."
Zhang Tao almost couldn't keep the smile on his face.
Soon, he regained his composure and walked into the clinic with a flattering expression on his face: "Dad, so many years have passed, don't you miss me and Lingling at all?"
"Yes, Dad, my brother and I miss you so much." Zhang Ling echoed.
Her eyes were red and she looked at Dr. Zhang with a look as if she was about to cry.
Doctor Zhang snorted coldly, his voice icy: "You are so hypocritical and false."
Zhang Tao and Zhang Ling's expressions froze on their faces.
Zhang Tao took a deep breath and said sadly, "Dad, how could you say that about your son and daughter?"
"Dad..." Zhang Ling covered her chest with one hand and tears flowed down her face.
"I have no son or daughter." Doctor Zhang said with disgust.
He pointed at the door and said a little excitedly: "Get out of here."
