Chapter 167 Soul Separation

Han Yan's expression froze and he pursed his lips.

Zhou Chuanxiong stared at him intently.

Lin Shu looked at them nervously.

The two looked at each other for a while.

"Come with me." Zhou Chuanxiong spoke first.

Han Yan followed behind Zhou Chuanxiong.

The two came to a deserted alley.

"Tell me, what happened to Shushu?" Zhou Chuanxiong asked with a stern face.

Han Yan looked hesitant.

"What? You still want to hide it from me?" Zhou Chuanxiong looked displeased.

A trace of pain flashed across Han Yan's face: "Shushu was hit by a car and is now unconscious."

"What?" Zhou Chuanxiong was shocked.

He grabbed Han Yan's collar angrily and glared at him, "How did you protect Shushu?"

"I'm sorry!" Han Yan closed his eyes, looking as if he was ready to do whatever he wanted.

"Han Yan..." Lin Shu clasped his hands and looked at him worriedly.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Zhou Chuanxiong pushed him away forcefully, gritting his teeth and saying, "What's the point of saying sorry?"

Han Yan took two steps back: "I'm sorry..."

"Take me to read some books." Zhou Chuanxiong turned around and walked out of the alley.

"etc."

"What are you waiting for?" Zhou Chuanxiong said angrily.

"Shu'er is not in the hospital."

"Not in the hospital?"

"At home."

"You bastard! How dare you leave her at home?" Zhou Chuanxiong was furious and punched Han Yan.

Han Yan stood there without moving.

Ah! Lin Shu screamed and stood in front of Han Yan regardless.

Zhou Chuanxiong's fist passed through her and landed on Han Yan.

Han Yan groaned.

Lin Shu quickly turned around and looked at Han Yan. His eyes were sore and tears couldn't help but fall.

It's not his fault, it's not his fault...

Zhou Chuanxiong was stunned, then his expression relaxed: "Why don't you hide?"

"I'm sorry!" Han Yan said in a deep voice.

Zhou Chuanxiong stared at him for a few seconds, then retracted his fist and said, "Go ahead."

Han Yan understood what he meant and told him that Dr. Zhang had fainted and was admitted to the hospital and that he had stayed here to watch over him.

"I asked someone to tell my mother to take good care of Shu'er," Han Yan added.

Zhou Chuanxiong was silent for a few seconds: "I misunderstood you."

"It's my fault." Han Yan shook his head.

"When will you be back?"

"You can be discharged today."

"I'll go back with you."

"good."

Zhou Chuanxiong also has to go back to the supply and marketing company to work as a substitute.

Han Yan returned to the hospital first.

Wait until Zhou Chuanxiong left.

Han Yan stood there and said softly, "Shu'er, I'm not hurt, don't worry."

Lin Shu wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes and nodded vigorously: "Yeah..."

"Shu'er, I want to hug you."

Lin Shu's tears, which he had finally managed to hold back, began to flow again: "Me too..."

"Shu'er, did I make you cry?"

"No, no..." Lin Shu covered his mouth, his voice choked.

"Shu'er..." A trace of pain flashed across Han Yan's face, and then his eyes became determined, "I will definitely find a way."

"Yeah." Lin Shu nodded vigorously.

She believed him.

Lin Shu followed Han Yan back to the hospital.

The doctor came to re-examine Dr. Zhang

"You can be discharged now," the doctor advised. "Be careful not to fall in the future."

Han Yan nodded.

It wasn't long before he arranged for Dr. Zhang to be discharged from the hospital.

Zhou Chuanxiong came over and went back to the team with them.

"Father-in-law," Aunt Liang was surprised when she saw Zhou Chuanxiong, but then she greeted him warmly, "Welcome, welcome."

"Come in and sit down." She said while winking at Han Yan.

Han Yan showed a helpless look on his face: "I understand."

"Oh, I see. What? I see!" Aunt Liang was startled, then looked at Han Yan worriedly, and then at Zhou Chuanxiong.

"I'm sorry, father-in-law, Shushu..." Aunt Liang looked apologetic.

Zhou Chuanxiong shook his head: "It's none of your business. Han Yan told me."

"Oh, it's all because of that crazy woman surnamed Zheng. Not only is her son crazy, but she herself is crazy too. It's true that the upper beam is crooked and the lower beams are crooked..." Aunt Liang cursed.

Zhou Chuanxiong listened silently.

"She..." Seeing Zhou Chuanxiong was silent, Aunt Liang smiled awkwardly, "I talk too much..."

"That's right!" Zhou Chuanxiong responded.

"Yes, yes, yes." After saying this, Aunt Liang stopped talking and looked at Han Yan anxiously, giving him a look.

Lin Shu was secretly happy.

Two men who are not talkative are really worrying.

"Dad, I'll take you to read a book." Han Yan said.

"Okay." Zhou Chuanxiong nodded.

The two stood up and walked towards Han Yan's room without saying a word.

"These two people are really..." Aunt Liang muttered and quickly followed.

Zhou Chuanxiong stood beside the bed and carefully looked at Lin Shu lying on the bed.

"Shushu..." Zhou Chuanxiong frowned, wanting to say something but stopping himself, "She is well taken care of."

Lin Shu looked at himself lying on the bed. After lying down for a few days, his skin was still as white as jade and his face was radiant. No one would say anything bad about it.

But that's what makes it seem abnormal.

"We don't dare take credit for it," Aunt Liang said. "Shushu has been like this since the day he came back. And he looks even better."

Zhou Chuanxiong retracted his gaze and turned to look at Han Yan: "Is that so?"

Han Yan paused and nodded.

"Tell me about Shushu's condition." Zhou Chuanxiong looked solemn.

Han Yan was silent for two seconds, then said, "On our way back that day, Shu'er was hit by a car."

"...She passed out on the spot. I immediately rushed her to the hospital..."
