Chapter 20 A Strange Family

They soon arrived at Han Gang's home, which turned out to be nearby.

"Uncle Han Shan." Walking into the room, Han Gang shouted to the middle-aged man sitting beside the bed.

Lin Shu looked over. Hey, isn't that the man who sat next to Han Yan at the wedding banquet?

Then Han Gang stood by the bed and said to the man who looked to be in his sixties and was half-lying on the bed, "Dad, Brother Han Yan is here."

Han Gang's father's eyes lit up and he wanted to sit up excitedly: "Yanzi, you're here? You're here!"

"Brother, what are you doing? Lie down quickly." Han Shan, who was sitting on the bed, immediately stood up and helped Han Gang's father lie down. Then he turned to Han Yan and said, "Yanzi, why are you standing there? Come here."

"Dad." Han Yan walked over.

Lin Shu was surprised. This turned out to be Han Yan's father.

"Uncle Gui is here." Han Yan then shouted to Han Gang's father.

Han Yougui excitedly grabbed Han Yan's hand and said, "Yanzi, why don't you come to see uncle now that you're back?"

"Yeah." Han Yan responded without changing his expression, then turned to look at Lin Shu.

Han Yougui looked surprised, as if he had just seen Lin Shu. He said with a somewhat apologetic tone, "This girl is..."

"My name is Lin Shu." Lin Shu stepped forward and said, "Hello, Uncle Yougui, hello, Uncle Han Shan."

"Hello, hello..." Han Yougui said with a smile.

However, Lin Shu noticed that when he looked at her, there was a hint of solemnity and vigilance in his eyes.

"Hello, Miss Lin." Han Shan said, glanced at Han Yan, then looked at her. He was happy at first, then frowned as if he thought of something.

What's going on? Lin Shu had a lot of questions in his mind.

"Miss Lin is an excellent doctor." Han Yan said, "I asked her to come and help check on your uncle's condition."

"No need!" Han Yougui suddenly shouted in a rough voice, then seemed to realize his mistake and said gently, "No need. I've seen so many doctors and none of them have been able to cure me. I don't have any hope anymore. Besides..."

He looked at Lin Shu with suspicion.

Han Shan also looked at her with suspicion.

"Let Miss Lin try it." Han Yan said in a deep voice.

Han Shan showed hesitation, then he advised: "Brother, why don't you let her try it."

"No, no need!" Han Yougui suddenly became excited. "Are you trying to humiliate me? You're letting a little girl come and treat me."

His eyes widened, his face flushed red, and he waved his hands in the air, shouting, "Are you worthy of me? Are you worthy of me..."

Han Shan hurriedly supported him: "No, brother, no."

Lin Shu opened his eyes wide and took two steps back.

She glanced at Han Yan. What was going on?

"Dad, Dad." At this time, Han Chunhua rushed in and ran to Han Yougui crying, "Dad, what's wrong with you?" As she said that, she turned around and stretched out her hand, wanting to grab Han Yan's hand.

Han Yan frowned slightly and took two steps back.

Her hands fell in mid-air and her crying stopped for a few seconds, looking a little funny.

Then, she started crying again, holding back her lips, and looked at Han Yan with a face full of grievance: "Brother Han Yan, my dad...he...he..."

Han Yan ignored her, frowned, and looked at Han Yougui and the others.

To Lin Shu's surprise, there wasn't much sadness in his eyes.

Suddenly, Han Chunhua turned her gaze to her standing beside her, with an unwilling look on her face and a hint of jealousy in her eyes.

Suddenly, he stretched out his hand to grab her face and shouted, "She killed Dad. It must be her."

Lin Shu stepped back in surprise.

"Stop!" Han Yan shouted, reached out to grab Han Chunhua's hand, and pushed her back hard, causing her to stagger back a few steps.

The scene suddenly became quiet.

Han Chunhua stared with an expression of disbelief on her face, then she whimpered and ran to Han Yougui's bedside, where she lay down and started crying.

Han Yougui's hand was still held by Han Shan and held in the air. His face turned red for a while, then white for a while, and finally turned ashen.

He slowly lowered his hand, his chest heaving violently as if he was holding his breath.

Then he lifted the quilt, slowly lay down, turned sideways, and did not move.

"Brother Han Yan..." Han Gang, who was standing aside, blushed. He moved his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but then lowered his head.

Han Shan turned his head to look at this and that, and finally looked at Han Yan and opened his mouth with pleading eyes.

Lin Shu keenly felt that there was a chill emanating from Han Yan.

Han Yan walked up to her and whispered, "I'll take you back first."

Lin Shu looked up at Han Shan and the others, then nodded at Han Yan.

The two of them walked towards the gate of the yard in silence.

When they reached the gate of the courtyard, Lin Shu looked up and said to Han Yan, "Let's stop here. I can go back by myself."

"I'll take you there." Han Yan looked disapproving.

Lin Shu glanced towards the courtyard, looked at him and said calmly, "Xu Juan and the others should still be with Han Yuan. I'll go check them out."

She laughed and joked, "Even if they've already gone back, if I walk back by myself, will I get lost in the group?"

She knew there were still a lot of things in the yard waiting for him to deal with when he returned.

"Sorry." After a moment's silence, Han Yan said guiltily.

"It's okay, it's okay." Lin Shu waved his hand and said lightly, "You go in, I'll go back."

As she spoke, she turned around and jogged forward a few steps. Turning back, she found Han Yan still standing there.

She waved to him and walked towards Han Yuan's house.

Lin Shu walked away and turned to look in the direction of Han Gang's house. What a strange family.

As soon as Lin Shu walked to the gate of Han Yuan's yard, he met Aunt Liang.

"Hey, Miss Lin, why are you back?"

"Auntie Liang, I just went out for something and now I'm back to look for Xu Juan and the others."

"All the people watching the excitement inside have left."

"Gone?" Lin Shu was a little disappointed.

"Yes." Aunt Liang said, and walked forward to take her hand, "Let's go to Aunt Liang's house to play."

"No, no." Lin Shu waved his hands quickly, looked up at the sky and said, "Auntie, it's a bit late. Maybe next time."

"That's right." Aunt Liang said disappointedly.

"That--"

"Then I'll take you home." Aunt Liang interrupted.

"No, no," Lin Shu said hurriedly, "Auntie, you're too polite."

As if knowing that Lin Shu really didn't need it, Aunt Liang looked disappointed: "Okay, then you better be careful."

As she spoke, she reached into her pocket, pulled out a handful of candy, stuffed it into Lin Shu's hand, and said with a smile, "Here, these are wedding candies. Let's get some of the good luck."

Lin Shu held the candy, feeling a little warm in his heart: "Thank you, Auntie."

After saying goodbye to Aunt Liang, Lin Shu walked towards the educated youth compound. She peeled a candy and put it in her mouth. It tasted sweet.

She looked up at the stars in the sky. Although a lot of things happened today, overall it was not bad.

who?

Suddenly, a figure rushed out from an alley not far away and ran forward quickly.
