Chapter 74 Leaked

Lin Shu quickly took a deep breath and calmed himself down.

"What's wrong?" Han Yan looked at Zhang Liang and asked in a deep voice.

"Brother Han Yan, Sister Lin Shu...I, please help me think of a solution."

Seeing that he was anxious and angry but couldn't speak out, Lin Shu looked at Han Yan and said, "Don't worry, let's go inside and talk."

After entering Han Yan's room, Lin Shu and Han Yan sat on the stools and looked at Zhang Liang.

"Don't be anxious, tell us what's going on first." Han Yan spoke first.

"I've been doing something recently..." Zhang Liang said in a low voice, looking at the two of them with a guilty look on his face.

Lin Shu and the others didn't say anything, and gestured for him to continue.

"Just take advantage of the time when those people aren't paying attention, grab the things they've looted, and then hide them." Zhang Liang said as he looked at the two of them, seemingly observing their reactions.

Lin Shu's expression remained calm as he hummed softly.

Han Yan glanced at Lin Shu without changing his expression and raised his eyebrows slightly.

"Aren't you surprised?" It seemed that their reactions were beyond Zhang Liang's expectations. Zhang Liang looked at them in surprise.

"So what's happening now?" Lin Shu asked instead of answering.

"I think I've been discovered," Zhang Liang said anxiously. "The night before last, I ran into Li Mei when I was carrying some stuff back."

"Li Mei?" Han Yan asked in confusion.

"She was an educated youth who used to live in our dormitory. She later married Accountant Lin's son." Lin Shu explained.

Han Yan nodded.

"I don't know if she's noticed something, but she's been hanging around my house these past couple of days," Zhang Liang continued. "She saw me again last night."

Lin Shu frowned.

"Besides," Zhang Liang frowned, "I ran into Lin Kang on my way back just now. He seemed to be waiting for me on purpose and gave me an ambiguous smile."

"The more I think about it, the more it seems wrong," Zhang Liang said in a panic. "Do you think they've discovered it?"

"Where are the things hidden?" Han Yan said decisively, "You must move those things quickly."

Lin Shu nodded in agreement.

"In the cellar of the old house next to the brigade ancestral hall."

"You kid..." A hint of praise flashed in Han Yan's eyes.

Lin Shu understood what Han Yan had not finished saying, and those people generally would not touch the ancestral hall.

"Then where to move?" Zhang Liang asked anxiously.

Lin Shu gave Han Yan a look.

Han Yan saw it and said to Zhang Liang, "Tell us the details and we will take care of the rest. You can just pretend you know nothing and go home as usual.

"I can't implicate you." Zhang Liang said hurriedly.

"Don't worry, leave it to us, it's okay." Lin Shu said with a smile. She was not mistaken.

"But..." Zhang Liang looked at Han Yan hesitantly.

"Leave it to us," Han Yan said in a deep voice, his tone revealing a convincing power.

Zhang Liang then stopped hesitating and told them the exact location where the things were hidden.

"You go back." Han Yan said, "Leave the rest to us."

Zhang Liang hesitated for a moment and then nodded.

He just stepped out of the room and turned back, his face determined: "If anything happens, you must put the whole thing on me."

After Zhang Liang left, Lin Shu looked at Han Yan and jokingly said, "Brother Han Yan is still reliable."

Han Yan's lips curled slightly, and he stretched out his finger and flicked her forehead lightly, saying lovingly: "Naughty, but this is Brother Han Yan, you can call me like this from now on."

Lin Shu covered his forehead and said softly, "No way."

Seeing Han Yan's eyes turn dark, Lin Shu quickly straightened his face and said, "Let's quickly discuss how to get those things."

Han Yan reached out and gently rubbed her forehead.

Lin Shu slapped his hand away: "Hurry up and tell me."

Han Yan grabbed her hand, looked at her intently, and said, "The look you just gave me, did it mean you wanted to use your ability?"

Lin Shu nodded.

Han Yan looked disapproving: "No one is more important than you."

Lin Shu's face flushed, and he shook his hand shyly: "Don't worry, it's okay, you won't be discovered. There's no place safer than here with me."

"Besides," Lin Shu said, staring into his eyes, "Zhang Liang has been targeted, so it doesn't matter where we put the things. We just need to find a pretext, stage a scene, and get the things back from me."

A look of hesitation flashed across Han Yan's face. He held Lin Shu's hand tightly and nodded after a long while.

"Then what should we do?" Lin Shu said hurriedly, "We have to hurry."

Han Yan pondered for a moment and told her the method.

Lin Shu's eyes lit up when he heard this: "Then let's hurry."

Han Yan nodded.

The two of them quickly asked Han Xin and Han Xue for help, pushed out the wooden cart at home, and put several bamboo baskets on the cart.

"What are you doing?" Liang Hehua came out and saw this scene and asked in confusion.

Lin Shu glanced at Han Yan.

Han Yan said calmly, "I plan to plant a few trees in the yard. I'm going to go outside and find some saplings."

Aunt Liang looked at them strangely and asked, "Why do you have so many trees in the yard?"

"I like it." Han Yan said seriously.

Lin Shu was secretly delighted. Only Han Yan could give such a reason with such confidence.

"It's up to you," Aunt Liang said. "Come back quickly, it's almost dark."

The four of them nodded quickly.

After leaving the courtyard, Han Xin turned to Han Yan and said, "Yanzi, tell me, what tricks are you up to now? Don't tell me what you told mother. I don't understand you."
