Chapter 75 Transfer

The four of them soon arrived near the ancestral hall that Zhang Liang mentioned.

Just as Han Yan said, there are trees of all sizes planted here, as if someone had planted them here on purpose in the past.

"This one, this one, this one, and that one..." Han Yan pointed at a few saplings and said, "Let's start digging."

Lin Shu glanced at Han Yan. He was acting quite decently.

Several people started digging with a hum.

"Swallow, why are there no saplings everywhere and why are you coming here to dig them?" Han Xin said.

"The ones here look better." Han Yan said seriously.

Han Xue stared at the trees for a while and said seriously, "They do seem to be growing better than in other places."

After hearing this, Lin Shu's eyes curved slightly.

After a while, Han Yan walked over to her and touched her.

Lin Shu immediately understood.

She immediately pretended to glance around, then her eyes fell on the row of old houses. She asked curiously, "What are those houses used for?"

"Do you want to go and take a look?" Han Yan said.

Lin Shu paused and glanced at him. He was getting to the point so quickly, without even laying the groundwork.

Han Yan raised his eyebrows slightly, and a smile flashed in his eyes.

"Okay." Lin Shu glared at him and acted with all his heart.

"Brother, Xiaoxue, you guys keep digging. I'll take Lin Shu to take a look." Han Yan walked over there with a smile in his eyes.

Lin Shu hurried to catch up with him.

After walking for a while, Lin Shu asked, "If you do this, they will also want to come over here, what should we do?"

"They won't follow."

"Why?" Lin Shu looked at him curiously.

Han Yan turned his head, staring at her with deep, ambiguous eyes, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

Lin Shu was stunned for a moment, then quickly realized what was happening and his face turned red.

She immediately avoided his gaze and looked left and right: "The scenery here is nice."

"Yeah, the scenery is nice."

Lin Shu could feel his gaze on her and understood the implicit meaning of his words.

Her heart skipped a beat. Could this person please pay attention to the occasion?

Fortunately, they reached their destination quickly.

Lin Shu calmed down and glanced at the surrounding environment.

The area around the house was overgrown with weeds and it looked like it had been in disrepair for a long time.

"Be careful and follow me." Han Yan said as he walked in front.

"Yeah." Lin Shu followed him cautiously, afraid that a snake would emerge from the bushes. She was most afraid of mollusks.

In fact, if you look closely, you can see that a path has been vaguely trampled out in the grass, and it's undoubtedly Zhang Liang who did it.

They came to the front of a room.

Han Yan pushed open the door.

The smell of mold and dust filled the air.

"Cough cough cough." Lin Shu couldn't help but cough twice.

"Are you okay?" Han Yan turned his head and asked.

Lin Shu shook his head.

The two walked into the house, which was filled with old and miscellaneous items.

Han Yan carefully identified the place Zhang Liang mentioned, moved away the debris on it, and revealed a wooden board.

Han Yan and Lin Shu looked at each other and moved the wooden board away.

Lin Shu took out a flashlight from the space and gave it to Han Yan.

Han Yan took it without changing his expression, as if he was used to her being able to produce things out of thin air.

Lin Shu's lips curled slightly.

Han Yan went down first, and after a while, he let Lin Shu come down.

Lin Shu looked around with the help of the flashlight.

This is more like a small underground room than a cellar. I don’t know how Zhang Liang found this place.

"This house used to belong to an old landlord," said Han Yan.

Lin Shuqing exclaimed, no wonder, ordinary people usually don’t build this kind of basement.

"Are these the ones?" Lin Shu opened one of the boxes on the ground and lifted the cloth covering it. Inside were some gold jewelry.

Lin Shu looked at Han Yan in surprise.

Han Yan opened several other boxes as well, some of which contained jade jewelry, small pieces of porcelain, and even gold bars.

Lin Shu was shocked and looked at Han Yan with wide eyes: "How did Zhang Liang get all this?"

Han Yan shook his head and said in a deep voice, "Put it away first."

Lin Shu nodded. It seemed he didn't know either.

She glanced at the boxes, and they disappeared instantly.

Lin Shu immediately turned his head to look at Han Yan, feeling uneasy.

Lin Shu felt relieved when he found that there was only shock and curiosity in his eyes.

"Don't tell anyone." Han Yan looked at her solemnly and said, "Try to use this ability as little as possible."

"I understand." Lin Shu nodded. She knew that if he could see it, then others could see it too.

Han Yan came over and held her hand: "Don't worry."

Lin Shu felt warm in his heart, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly: "Yeah."

The two left the basement.

Han Yan moved the wooden board back and restored the debris on the ground to its original state.

"Why did you take so long?" Han Xin said as he wiped his sweat when he saw them coming back.

Lin Shu saw that there were more than ten saplings lying on the ground that they had dug up. He looked at Han Xin and Han Xue who were sweating profusely, and glanced at Han Yan embarrassedly.

"You guys take a rest, we'll take care of the rest." Lin Shu said quickly.

Lin Shu and Han Yan skillfully bundled the saplings, put them into bamboo baskets, and then lifted them onto the cart.

Han Yan and Han Xin pushed the cart, and Lin Shu and Han Xue followed behind.

The four of them carried the saplings back home and met several people asking for advice on the way.

When I was almost home, I actually ran into Li Mei. She looked at the bamboo frame on the wooden cart several times, her eyes flashing slightly.

Lin Shu glanced at her indifferently.

Several people ignored her and walked straight past.
