Chapter 128 She Doesn’t Want Me Anymore

Shen Anan stood on the platform of the train station, looking not far away, his eyes full of helplessness.

The middle-aged woman she had just met on the train was now pulling her daughter with an angry look on her face.

She really didn't expect that she and the old lady got off at the same station, and it seemed that they were also going to Wangjiazhuang.

After leaving the train station, she was planning to find a three-wheeled motorcycle to go to Wangjiazhuang, but she heard the aunt scolding her daughter again: "You little girl, you only know how to eat. You have to give priority to all the delicious food at home, right? Your brother hasn't eaten yet, but you don't know how to give in to your brother at all."

The little girl's eyes were filled with tears, but she didn't dare cry out loud. She could only lower her head and let her mother scold her.

Shen Anan could also see that this was because he had lost face on the train and was now trying to make up for it on his own daughter.

Just then, the aunt's son suddenly started crying, pointing at his stomach and shouting that he wanted to poop.

The aunt glanced around and said unhappily, "Kid, you really know how to pick the right time."

She turned around and said to her daughter, "You stay here and look after the luggage. I'll take your brother to find the toilet."

The little girl nodded, her thin body looked particularly lonely in the cold wind. The aunt took her son and walked away quickly, leaving her daughter alone to guard the large and small bags of luggage.

Looking at the little girl, Shen Anan felt a little bit reluctant. Just when she was about to step forward to comfort her, she saw several men with wretched faces approaching the girl, saying something dirty, as if they wanted to take her away.

Shen Anan's eyes turned cold, and he strode forward, pulled the little girl behind him, and said coldly to the men: "What do you want to do? This child is taken care of by someone."

The men were obviously stunned when Shen Anan shouted at them.

Several people looked at each other, and one of them bravely said, "We see that this little girl is alone, so we want to take her to find her mother."

Shen Anan didn't believe their lies, "Don't try that. I'm watching this kid, just go away."

"you……"

The men wanted to say something, but seeing that Shen Anan was not easy to mess with, they looked around and found that other passengers had noticed the situation here, so they had to leave in dismay.

Shen Anan turned around, looked at the little girl, and comforted her softly: "It's okay, your mother will be back soon."

The little girl raised her head, tears still in her eyes, and said to Shen Anan: "Thank you, sister."

Just as she finished speaking, the aunt came back hurriedly with her son in her arms. When she saw Shen Anan standing next to her daughter, her face immediately darkened. She rushed forward a few steps and angrily questioned Shen Anan: "What do you want to do? Why are you talking to my daughter?"

Shen Anan was about to explain, but the aunt didn't give her a chance. She took her daughter's hand and left in a hurry, as if she was afraid that Shen Anan would do something to her daughter.

Shen Anan stood there, looking at the aunt's back, feeling a little helpless. She shook her head, turned around and found a three-wheeled vehicle, ready to go to Wangjiazhuang. If she was any later, she would be late.

The three-wheeled vehicle had just started, making a rumbling sound, when suddenly a figure rushed out from the side of the road. The driver quickly braked, and Shen Anan took a closer look and saw that the person who rushed out was actually...

That little girl just now!

The little girl ran out of breath, stood by the car with tears in her eyes, and said to Shen Anan: "Sister, my mother took my brother and left on a three-wheeled motorcycle. She doesn't want me anymore!"

Shen Anan was shocked. She got out of the car and looked at the little girl, feeling distressed.

"Didn't your mother tell you where she was going?"

The little girl shook her head: "I don't know, she asked me to wait here for a while, and then she got in the car with her brother and left."

Shen Anan frowned, seeing that those wretched men were still around, if she left now, the little girl would probably be in trouble.

I looked at the driver helplessly and said, "Master, thank you for your trouble. I'll give you the money, but I won't take the bus."

After saying that, she gave three dollars to the driver and got off the car.

Shen Anan took the little girl's hand and returned to the station.

After searching inside and outside the station for several rounds, Shen Anan still couldn't find the little girl's mother.

It was getting darker and there were fewer and fewer people at the station. She knew she couldn't keep looking like this.

Crouching down, she looked into the little girl's eyes and asked softly, "Is it possible that your mother has gone somewhere else? Or do your family have any relatives or friends nearby?"

The little girl shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes: "I don't know, my mother didn't tell me."

Shen Anan touched the little girl’s head distressedly: “It’s okay, let’s go eat something first, and then think of a solution.”

After that, Shen Anan took the little girl to a small restaurant near the station.

The restaurant is not big, but it is clean and tidy. The proprietress is also a warm-hearted person. When she saw Shen Anan coming in with a little girl, she hurried over to greet them.

"What would you like to eat?" the proprietress asked with a smile.

Shen Anan turned around and asked the little girl: "What do you want to eat? Sister will treat you."

The little girl looked at the menu and whispered, "Can I have a bowl of noodles?"

"Of course." Shen Anan said to the proprietress, "Give us two bowls of noodles and two random stir-fried dishes."

The proprietress responded with a smile and went to the kitchen to prepare.

Shen Anan pulled the little girl to sit down. She knew that the little girl must be very scared now.

Although she knew that the little girl's mother had most likely abandoned her daughter on purpose, she couldn't say that. After thinking about it, she tried to comfort her in a gentle tone, "Your mother might have been delayed by something. Let's go find her after dinner, okay?"
