Chapter 29 Something is fishy
Mrs. Luo walked towards her angrily, "I'm telling you, if our old Luo doesn't wake up, I will never let you go!"
"Has Dr. Luo had a physical examination recently? Is he feeling unwell?" Su Jinhui ignored her words and asked rationally, acting in a businesslike manner.
Mrs. Luo looked at her in disbelief, pointing her finger at her nose. "You little girl, you're so cruel! What do you mean? You just want to slander Old Luo as having a disease and then shirk responsibility, right? I'm telling you, don't even think about it! There are so many people here, all witnesses, you can't get away!"
"Yes, I am willing to testify."
"I am willing to testify too!"
Everyone volunteered as if they were doing a great thing.
Su Jinhui glanced at them calmly, "What do you have to prove? Did we fight or quarrel?"
"Fighting! You clearly had an argument!" Some people in the crowd were quick to refute her on the spot.
Her eyes immediately caught the speaker's eye. "Really? Is there any difference between my tone then and now? Or do you think we're arguing now? Besides, I was just being objective and reasonable with him."
"I...but Dr. Luo was very excited at the time!"
"So what? He fainted due to emotional excitement. Just because he was talking to me at the time, do I have to pay the price? Then if I faint now, you are also responsible?" Su Jinhui asked calmly.
The other party was speechless and couldn't say a word for a long time.
Yes, although they had different opinions, they did not fight or quarrel. If you think about it, it was Dr. Luo who fainted because he did not manage his emotions well.
Mrs. Luo snorted coldly, "He's young, but he's really good at talking. It seems the rumors are true! If you hadn't provoked Old Luo, why would he be so angry?"
"He made mistakes in his work. Is it okay for me to point them out? If they are not corrected in time, the patient may very likely die." Su Jinhui argued without giving in.
Although Liu Dazhuang was not a good man, Liu Miao had suffered so much and been looked down upon because of the misdiagnosis. The only thing she could be thankful for was that it was not too late, otherwise she would have committed a serious sin.
"What nonsense are you talking about! What life or death? Our Lao Luo is ill. We don't admit your mistake! If you continue to talk nonsense and ruin Lao Luo's reputation, I will make you pay for it." Mrs. Luo threatened with gritted teeth, obviously unwilling to listen to her continue.
Su Jinhui couldn't help but burst out laughing.
When she smiled, everyone present was stunned.
Mrs. Luo felt increasingly insecure. "What are you laughing at?"
"Yes, the patient just lost his life but your father Luo fainted. You really know clearly what is more important." Su Jinhui said sarcastically with a cold face.
She didn't mean to say this much, but someone was so selfish.
"She has a point."
"Dr. Luo didn't refute the misdiagnosis at the time, so it seems to be true."
"Doctor Su has only just taken office and has already spotted previous mistakes. It seems her medical skills are truly impressive."
…
There were a few people in the crowd who were unsure about their stance and were discussing in low voices. Although they tried to keep their voices as low as possible, it was loud enough for everyone present to hear clearly.
"You...you...are completely devoid of conscience! Our Lao Luo is still lying in bed, and you actually took this opportunity to force me! Do you still have any conscience?"
Before Su Jinhui could speak, the other party had already collapsed to the ground with his legs weak, holding his chest and looking like he was having difficulty breathing, as if he would faint in the next second.
"Are you okay? You have to hold on. Doctor Luo is counting on you."
"Help her sit on the chair and have a rest."
The crowd rushed forward, making it impossible to get through.
"I'll help her." Su Jinhui volunteered, pushed through the crowd and walked in, grabbing her wrist without giving her a chance to react.
Mrs. Luo tried to break free but to no avail. She could only glare at her, "What do you want to do in public?"
Su Jinhui didn't answer her, but took the opportunity to check her pulse. "Your pulse is strong and powerful, and you are in good health. If you are to say, you just have a little indigestion. You should eat less recently."
The implication is that she pretended to faint.
After she let go of Mrs. Luo, she walked towards the ward on her own.
Mrs. Luo, who was originally unable to walk due to her weak legs and needed someone to support her, suddenly ran up to her and said, "Don't go in! Don't even think about harming Old Luo!"
"As expected, you are in good health." Su Jinhui looked at her legs meaningfully.
Faced with everyone's shocked eyes, she felt so ashamed that she wished she could find a hole to crawl into. Despite this, she still firmly blocked the way with her body and refused to let Su Jinhui take a step forward.
"Sister Luo, just let her in. Saving people is the most important thing right now." Chen Jun walked out of the ward and spoke well of her.
Others don't trust Su Jinhui's medical skills, but he believes in it more than anyone else.
"Xiao Chen, why are you so disloyal? Didn't you see how Old Luo fell down from anger?" Mrs. Luo put on an expression of disbelief.
Su Jinhui said confidently, "I'm right here anyway. Why don't you let me try? It's better than just waiting."
"I will guarantee her. If there is any problem, I am willing to share the responsibility with her." Chen Jun made a guarantee.
Ah Hua also weakly raised her hand, "I...I am willing too."
"No! Who knows if the three of you are teaming up to plot against Old Luo?" Mrs. Luo obviously didn't hear a word she said.
Su Jinhui had no choice but to resort to the worst possible strategy. She winked at Ah Hua as planned, and rushed into the ward when she was not prepared, leaving her no chance to react.
By the time Mrs. Luo reacted, she had already rushed to Luo Ping's bedside.
"Come out here! Don't touch him!" Mrs. Luo yelled excitedly, but both of her arms were held tightly by someone and she couldn't move.
Looking back, who else could it be but Chen Jun and Ahua? The two of them cooperated well and controlled Mrs. Luo tightly.
Everyone looked at each other, unsure who to help.
After all, Chen Jun's status and position are different from Su Jinhui's. He is the most capable young doctor. If Dr. Luo were not so old, the position of director would probably belong to him.
Now is not the time to offend him.
Su Jinhui turned a deaf ear to what was happening outside and kept her brain highly rational to diagnose the illness.
But... the strange thing is that the examination did not reveal any problems with Luo Ping. His pulse was stable and all the examination indicators were normal. Compared to his current age, he was much healthier than his peers!
Then why did he suddenly faint?
Su Jinhui was puzzled and accidentally met Chen Jun's gaze.
