A bucket of cold water was poured over his head, instantly sobering Liu Xuejun up, a layer of cold sweat seeping out of his back.

When Shen Lao Er saw that his scheme had been exposed, he was not angry at all. Instead, he stared at Liu Zhixia with a grin and said, "Third sister is quite clever. How come I never realized she was such a feisty girl before?"

Liu Zhixia crouched down, and using the bushes as cover, took out a thick wooden stick from her spatial storage. She weighed it in her hand; the weight was just right.
"Stop talking nonsense! Your brother-in-law taught me a few moves before he left. You're no match for me in a fight. There are three scoundrels over there. We'll lose if we fight them head-on. Go and call some people. Tell them that the hooligans from the next brigade are causing trouble in our village!"
Seeing the weapon that suddenly appeared in his sister's hand, Liu Xuejun was stunned for a moment, then gritted his teeth and nodded: "Okay! Sis, hold on, I'll bring people right away!"
