Enraged, Su Xiaole punched Xing Jianguo in the chest.

"I'm sorry!" Xing Jianguo apologized quickly, then realized what he meant and asked, "What did you just say? Your family knows you went on a blind date with me?"
"Otherwise what?" Su Xiaole retorted, then snapped, "Am I not as good as Chen Yaqin in your eyes?"
Xing Jianguo smiled and asked, "Don't your family mind my background?"
"What do you take me for? A snob who only cares about the rich and powerful? You look down on me and keep me hanging on!"
Su Xiaole finally understood that he didn't love her at all.
Xing Jianguo excitedly began to explain, holding Su Xiaole's hand and saying, "The only person I like is you. Chen Yaqin is Brother Xiao's wife. I was just taking care of her, fulfilling my duty as a comrade-in-arms! Besides, I wasn't the only one who went to help. How can you say I like her? The person I like is you. I'm just afraid that I'm not good enough for you."
Su Xiaole thought for a moment and then said, "Then why didn't you explain before?"
"I'm just afraid I'm not good enough for you. Explaining or not explaining makes no difference."
"Then why are you explaining now?"
