"Want to go shopping at the mall?" Song Hengjue felt guilty for doing something wrong and quickly tried to make amends by pointing to the mall outside the window.
Yang Qingheng was about to refuse when she thought of something and nodded: "Okay."
Song Hengjue was overjoyed and quickly followed her out of the car.
Yang Qingheng didn't know if he was happy or not. Before she had even finished browsing around halfway through the store, she went straight to the clothing store on the third floor.
"Hello, welcome. Miss, what kind of clothes would you like to buy?" The saleswoman was a young woman who had been dozing off. When she saw the two of them come in, she patted her face and stood up. Her gaze swept over Song Hengjue's mask and then locked onto Yang Qingheng's face. She politely bowed slightly.
"Let me see your new menswear." Yang Qingheng's gaze swept across the clothing store, finally settling on the sweaters closest to the door.
The knitted sweater is made of pure wool; you can tell just by touching it.
"Miss, you have excellent taste! This is a new style from Hainan Province. Many male students in the nearby university town like to wear this style. I think your boyfriend has such a good figure, he would look great in it." The saleswoman slapped her thigh, her eyes shining.
"You're quite the smooth talker." Yang Qingheng shook her head, amused. She picked up a piece of clothing and compared it to Song Hengjue's body. Tang's father was about the same size as him, so it should fit him well.
This task shouldn't have fallen to her, the daughter-in-law, but the old lady caught a cold yesterday morning, and she happened to be there, so helping her buy it back wasn't a big deal.
"Could you help me try it on?" she asked naturally.
Under the sales clerk's mocking gaze, Song Hengjue's ears were burning with embarrassment. He grabbed the clothes and headed towards the fitting room, his awkward manner making him look extremely unnatural.
