Yang Qingheng became more and more excited as she picked through the items, wondering which landlord's house these items came from, and how they had gotten such a good deal for the two of them.
"It's getting dark, if we don't leave now we'll miss the last bus," Yang Qingheng reminded him, glancing at the sky outside.
Sister-in-law Sun, still wanting more, said, "Let's pick some more."
Yang Qingheng chuckled: "We've already checked them twice, there shouldn't be any mistakes. Let's go, the old man is about to go home."
She reached into the coal stove on the ground and pulled out a handful of unburnt books. They looked old and tattered, but they were written with a brush and were quite old. She wondered if they were ancient books.

What if it's valuable? We can take it all back with us; maybe we can donate it to the country later.
Just as the old man was about to go inside, he saw the two of them come out, each carrying a burlap sack.
"You're dawdling and making me late to get off work."
Yang Qingheng's eyes crinkled into a smile as she leaned closer, saying, "I'm sorry, Uncle, please don't be angry."
The old man's expression softened a bit, and after helping them put the items on the scale, he kindly rounded down the price for them.
Police Station
"Why have you been so absent-minded these past few days? Did some little vixen drain your energy?" a colleague teased, sitting down opposite Tang Bainian with a cup of hot water.
"What fairy? There haven't been any fairies since the founding of the People's Republic of China. You've been reported several times and still can't control your foul mouth. Do you not want to work here anymore?"
Tang Bainian glanced at him, and a smiling face involuntarily flashed through his mind. His brow twitched twice, and he felt a headache for the first time.
"Hey, that's the water I poured." Xu Feng opened his mouth.
Tang Bainian put down his water glass, grabbed his hat, and walked outside: "Why are you drinking water? A bus overturned on Changshun Road. We need to go help."
