Chapter 307 Marriage

He was scheming, plotting how to use this method to blackmail Yang Qingheng and swindle some money from her.

"Uncle Chen, my mother and brother are not feeling well. Please take them home to rest. Call a doctor and don't let them leave the house until they have been properly examined." Yang Qingheng didn't give them any more chances to cause trouble.

Gao Xiao'e was so shocked she couldn't close her mouth, and then she flew into a rage, flipping the table over: "This is imprisonment! You dare to imprison me?"

"Mom, what are you saying? You just recovered from your illness and ate so much greasy food. I was just worried that you weren't feeling well. After the doctor examined you, I won't stop you from going anywhere. How can you call it imprisonment?" Yang Qingheng smiled insincerely and waved her hand. The driver quickly grabbed the two of them, pulled them out by the shoulders.

"You wretched girl, you'll die a horrible death!" Gao Xiao'e's face was contorted with rage as she struggled fiercely.

Yang Cheng was also furious, but unfortunately, the two of them were good-for-nothings. The driver, on the other hand, was personally hired by Yang Qingheng and was a first-rate fighter. He could handle the two of them as easily as picking up two chicks.

They couldn't even touch a corner of Yang Qingheng's clothes.

When the people who were causing the disturbance arrived, Yang Qingheng immediately dialed Sun Rong's number: "Send two bodyguards over here, right away."

I went outside and asked the waiter for a table in the corner of the lobby, looking towards the private rooms on the third floor of the stairs.

Yang Qingheng wasn't stupid enough to confront them personally, especially since she was pregnant.

She wasn't so busy as to personally handle something that two bodyguards could do.

"Miss, would you like some tea?" The waiter leaned over.

"Give me a glass of warm water, and two plates of pastries," Yang Qingheng said with a polite smile.

The waiter had no reason to refuse such a small request: "Please wait a moment."

Half a plate of pastries had been eaten, but there was still no sound from upstairs, clearly they were still waiting for Gao Xiao'e and Yang Cheng.

Yang Qingheng was biting into half a pastry, one hand supporting her chin, her eyelids growing heavier and heavier.

Perhaps because of the pregnancy, she has been sleeping longer and longer these days, and she is still not sleepy. Fortunately, the baby is not naughty and has been very well-behaved. In the past few months, she has not had any morning sickness or other severe physical reactions.

Having just swallowed the half-eaten pastry, Yang Qingheng suddenly felt wide awake, her drowsiness almost gone. She hesitated for a second, looking at the two fully armed men coming down from upstairs, then followed them at a distance, gazing at the bustling street outside.

"Comrade, would you like a serving of freshly baked Yucha cake?" Perhaps she had been standing in front of a stall for a long time, because an old man greeted her warmly.

Yang Qingheng had no appetite for pastries, but she bought one anyway to avoid attracting attention.

She had never eaten this kind of pastry before and thought it was a specialty of Hainan Province. It smelled fragrant and appealing, so she thought she would try it later and bring some back for Song Hengjue if it tasted good.

The two men were completely unaware that their scheme had been discovered. They strolled around the street with their hands behind their backs, occasionally buying something from a stall. Finally, they entered a small restaurant by the roadside.

Yang Qingheng rubbed her thigh and breathed a sigh of relief; she was really going to collapse from exhaustion if she kept walking.

"It's crowded at lunchtime, and we don't have enough seats. You're alone, would you mind sharing a table with this gentleman?" the waiter asked shyly.

Yang Qingheng wasn't there to eat, so she didn't care at all. She casually poured herself a glass of water and watched the two of them from afar.

The pastries in her hands had gone cold. As soon as Yang Qingheng picked them up, everything went black. She knew something was wrong and tried to call out, but she didn't have the strength to open her mouth.

The man at the table grabbed her shoulder, and when he saw others looking over, he scratched his head and said, "My husband has low blood sugar and isn't feeling well. Could you please give me a piece of candy, young lady?"

The waiter quickly brought over some candy.

Upon seeing this, everyone turned around without suspicion.

When Yang Qingheng opened her eyes again, the scene had changed.

What appeared to be a shabby little hotel was a faint sound of water leaking from a pipe somewhere. Yang Qingheng's heart clenched with each sip of water. Her hands were bound tightly with a rope, wrapped with an unknown amount of tape, making it impossible for her to move her fingers, let alone untie them.

The door opened from the outside, and a tall man in black entered. His gloomy eyes stared at her face for a few seconds before he reached out and unbuttoned his shirt, followed by his trousers.

Yang Qingheng's temple throbbed. She felt that this man looked familiar, and forced herself to calm down: "You are Yang Cheng's boyfriend. I've seen you before."

Li Sen paused in his act of pulling down his pants, then chuckled, "Don't try anything funny. If you behave yourself, you'll feel better later. I'm not one to show mercy to women."

“You’re all in cahoots.” Yang Qingheng understood almost instantly what roles her mother and brother were playing.

She wondered why the two of them hadn't caused any trouble lately; it turned out they were holding back something big.

They no longer expected her to give them handouts; what they wanted was complete control over her. They wanted Song Hengjue to break up with her so they could squander her wealth.

She even went so far as to have her younger brother, her so-called "boyfriend," act as the one who "kidnapped" her.

Yang Cheng indeed thought so.

The two had arrived home and, seeing no one around, Gao Xiao'e grabbed her son's arm: "Do you really think this will work?"

That girl doesn't seem like a coward, otherwise they wouldn't have failed to get a single penny from her so far. And it's not certain that she'll marry Li Sen after it's all over.

“She’s not afraid of being called a slut, surely a child can’t hold her back,” Yang Cheng said confidently, crossing his legs. “Once she has a child with Xu Sen, I don’t believe she can be so heartless as to abort it. That’s just how women are.”

Gao Xiao'e nodded repeatedly, agreeing with the assessment.

All the unmarried girls in the village who got pregnant said they would die, but in the end none of them had an abortion, and now some of them are pregnant with their third child.
