Chapter 443 Don’t Make Me Cry Again
After taking a train for two days and one night, Yu Hui finally set foot on the land of Beijing at 8:30 on the second day.
Someone was arranged from Beijing to pick them up. As soon as they got off the train, Yu Hui and Xiao Li got into a Beijing-licensed jeep.
The person who came to pick them up was Ji Tianming, an officer of the Beijing Army Hospital. As soon as Yu Hui got in the car, she asked about Gu Huai's condition.
"How is my husband now?"

The military hospital is not far from the guesthouse, only five minutes' drive away.

Soon the three of them went up to the fifth floor. Gu Huai's ward was at the end of the corridor and was the quietest ward.
When Ji Tianming pushed open the door of the ward, Yu Hui saw a nurse in a white uniform wiping the body of Gu Huai, whose hospital gown was open.
When the nurse heard the door open, she turned around and was startled to see Secretary Ji and a man and a woman behind him.
"Secretary Ji."
"This nurse Hu Shasha is the nurse responsible for taking care of Comrade Gu Huai." Ji Tianming introduced her to Yu Hui.
Yu Hui nodded to the other person, said "Hello," and hurried to the bedside.
Seeing Gu Huai lying on the hospital bed with his eyes closed, sunken cheeks, pale face, dry lips, and gauze on his chest, Yu Hui's eyes turned red.
