Chapter 185 Don't Want to Go to School
After school, students line up when leaving the school gate. Once they leave the school gate, they are like pigeons out of a cage, flying away.
On the way back, there was a group of children pushing and hitting each other. Fortunately, there were no cars on the road at that time, but Lin Xia was still a little scared, so she walked carefully on the side with An An.
"Mom, can I not go to school?" The depressed little guy finally spoke, his little face full of anxiety and fear in his eyes.
"Can you tell mom why? Is school not fun?" She was fine in the morning. Something must have happened at school. Lin Xia didn't expect her to learn knowledge now, but she could definitely do without going to school.
"I don't want to go, and Mommy doesn't want to go either!" The little guy jumped anxiously.
Lin Xia's heart skipped a beat. Was he being punished by the teacher for resisting so much? She bent down with great effort and looked at the little guy from head to toe. His hair was a little loose. Children's hair was fine and soft, and it would easily become loose when they ran and jumped. Lin Xia didn't care.
She picked up the little hand and checked it, but there was no mark on it. It was inconvenient to check the body, so Lin Xia asked softly, "Did someone hit you?"
The little guy shook his head, and his usually smiling face was full of panic and anxiety, just like when they first met. Lin Xia felt very distressed when she saw it.
Something must have happened to Lin Xia at school, but there was no quick means of communication, so I could only calm her down first and then find out what happened later.
"Aunt Guilan has prepared dinner. Shall we go back and eat?" Lin Xia asked gently, touching the little guy's head.
An An looked at Lin Xia with uneasiness in her eyes and held her hand tightly. Seeing that her mother was still smiling, she nodded with relief.
Lin Xia kept smiling until the little guy couldn't see her expression anymore, then she frowned and decided to take the child home for dinner first.
After arriving home, Lin Xia didn't ask any more questions and took the little one to eat and rest. School classes didn't start until two in the afternoon, so there was still plenty of time.
After An An fell asleep, Lin Xia got up and went to the next door. Yang Hongmei was doing housework at home and was a little surprised to see Lin Xia coming.
"Sister-in-law, is Xiaojun asleep?" Xiaojun was not in the same class as An An, but he was also in the next class. Lin Xia couldn't find anyone to ask, so she had to try asking first.
"I guess I didn't sleep. What's wrong?"
As soon as Lin Xia explained the situation, Yang Hongmei immediately understood and quickly put down the work in her hands, "Then wait, I'll go call him."
Yang Hongmei went upstairs, not afraid of disturbing her son's sleep. It was impossible for those two naughty boys to sleep well.
When she reached the door of the room, she heard the sound of fighting and quarreling. Yang Hongmei pushed the door open and saw two people lying in a mess, not moving at all.
"Xiaojun, come here for a moment." Yang Hongmei said good-temperedly. She was not angry at all. She was used to it.
The two children's eyelids trembled rapidly, but they still did not open their eyes.
Yang Hongmei found it funny and said loudly, "Stop pretending. Come here quickly. Your Aunt Lin has something to ask you."
After these words came out, the two children stopped pretending. Da Jun turned over and sat up and asked, "What's wrong with Aunt Lin?"
"I guess he's asking about Sister An An. Come down quickly." Yang Hongmei turned around and went downstairs first, asking Xiaojun to hurry up.
When Xiaojun heard that it was Aunt Lin who asked the question, he went downstairs immediately and Dajun followed him.
Lin Xia smiled when she saw Xiaojun, "Xiaojun, Auntie wants to ask you, have you seen sister Anan today? Has anyone bullied her?"
Xiaojun scratched his ears and cheeks when he heard this, and he really couldn't remember what had happened.
Lin Xia was not disappointed. She just wanted to ask and after thinking for a while, she asked, "Do you know who teaches my sisters?"
"I do know that teacher. An An's class should be taught by Teacher Zhao, who lives in the family quarters." Yang Hongmei said, recalling the past.
Teacher Zhao originally taught in elementary school. She did not graduate from junior high school, but was more than qualified to teach in elementary school. However, as there were more younger children, she added a preschool class.
"What's her temper like?" Lin Xia had only had a brief encounter with her in the morning and had no idea what her personality was like at the time.
"How can the temper of these children be improved? But the relationship between them and their parents should be okay." Yang Hongmei thought about it. It is impossible for her to have a good temper when teaching so many children, all of them are very naughty.
Lin Xia frowned. After Yang Hongmei's reminder, she suddenly remembered how she went to school when she was a child. She went to school in the village with her grandparents. When the teachers disciplined the naughty students, they either beat or scolded them, and the parents didn't think there was any problem.
But if Lin Xia were to look at it, she realized that the problem was serious. It was not until the rise of private schools in later generations that teachers who beat and scolded students became rare. She hoped that the problem was not with the teacher. It seemed that she had to go to the school to find out.
After returning home, Lin Xia rested by reading a book. She didn't dare to rest without an alarm clock, for fear that she would fall asleep and miss the time for the little one to go to school. She thought to herself that she should go buy an alarm clock, but she didn't know if there was one in the supply and marketing cooperative.
After letting the little guy sleep for an hour, he woke up. After washing his face, drinking some water and eating some fruit, he felt completely refreshed.
"Baby, can you tell mom why you don't want to go to school?" After eating the fruit, Lin Xia hugged the little guy and asked gently.
When it comes to going to school, An An's face shows some resistance.
Lin Xia was in no hurry to urge her. She hugged her and gently touched her hair. She had just woken up and hadn't tied it up yet.
"Mom, am I a good child?" the little baby asked tentatively.
"Of course you are a good child! The best child your mother has ever seen!" Lin Xia answered without hesitation.
To be honest, she had never raised any other children, but the little guy had never annoyed Lin Xia. This was despite the fact that she had no feelings for children in her previous life, especially those naughty ones, whom she hated even more.
"Then mom, will you still like me after you give birth to a sister? The teacher said that you are a stepmother, and stepmothers will not like me." An An held back tears in her eyes, and there was a hint of worry in her crying voice.
Lin Xia was shocked. This was definitely not what the little girl thought. Someone must have said something. Although the little girl was young, she knew that she was not Lin Xia's daughter, and Lin Xia had never fooled her.
"Of course I like you. You are mom and dad's big baby. Your sister can only be considered a little baby. Of course, I like you the most." Lin Xia hugged An An and kissed her hard. She asked softly with a hint of coldness in her eyes. "Mom is asking you, who told you this?"
The little girl blushed when she heard this, and she reached out to touch her forehead. Her mother kissed her and said she loved her the most! She was so happy.
"Chen Xiaogang pulled my hair, and I told the teacher. The teacher said I was being disobedient and that you would not like me after my sister is born." The little guy had been comforted by Lin Xia, and reached out to touch the place where Lin Xia had kissed him before.
Then he pointed to his forehead angrily, "The teacher also poked my forehead with his hand."
"Did I hit you?" Lin Xia looked at the little guy's forehead. There was no mark on it. It seemed that just poking it would not leave any mark.
She was relieved when she saw the little guy shook his head. If the child was hit, she would never forgive the teacher.
But she didn't understand why the teacher said such things, especially to a child, as she had no grudge against him.
