Chapter 216: Great Shock
Golden egg pancakes with a hint of green onion, fried eggs sizzling with oil like sunflowers, a plate of green vegetables and pickled radishes, hot steamed buns, porridge with shrimp and something Aunt Lu didn't recognize.
The whole table smelled delicious. Aunt Lu stared at the four fried eggs and said distressedly, "You guys can eat these eggs. I don't need them."
"That's how we eat at home. If we want to eat, we eat together." Lin Xia smiled. She hated it most when elders saved the good things for the younger ones, as that would spoil the children.
"I don't need it. How can I, a grown-up, snatch food from a child? Let An An eat more." Aunt Lu was unwilling.
"Just because you are an adult, you need to eat better. How can you work without a healthy body?" Lin Xia disapproved when she heard what Aunt Lu said.
Aunt Lu was stunned and didn't know how to refute. It seemed to be like that, but who wouldn't leave the good things for their children? Why did they eat them themselves?
After washing her face, An An woke up and ran to the dining table. She sniffed and said, "What a nice smell!"
"Hurry up and sit down to eat."
An An quickly climbed onto the stool. The stool was a little high, and it was not easy to get up, but the little guy had a trick. He climbed onto the stool with his little body, lifted one leg and pulled himself up with his butt, then turned around and sat down.
Aunt Lu was a little stunned. She thought it would be faster to hug her, but she didn't say anything when she saw An An was sitting down.
"Eat quickly. Do you need to go to school after eating?" Aunt Lu asked when she saw An An not moving.
"Wait for Daddy!" The little guy was ready with a spoon in his hand, but he didn't start eating.
Aunt Lu was stunned again by the little guy's words.
Lu Yuxiu washed the little guy's face and cleaned up the dirty bathroom at the same time, so he came over a step late.
The little guy started eating only after his dad sat down, using a spoon to scoop the fried eggs.

"Eat more." Aunt Lu was moved by An An's understanding. She picked up her fried egg with a loving face and was about to give it to her.

"Aunt, you eat it yourself." Lu Yuxiu tried to stop her.
Lin Xia didn't say anything. Some elders were too stubborn to be persuaded by just a few words. She glanced at the little guy and winked.
The mother and daughter had a tacit understanding. The little girl held the bowl tightly and said to Aunt Lu like a little adult, "Eat it yourself, Auntie! The eggs my mother makes are delicious!"
The eggs were fried in a big round pan. They were crispy all around with a little bit of sugar in the middle. The yolk tasted a little sweet, and she liked it very much.
Aunt Lu was dizzy after being coaxed by the little guy, and she picked up the food and put it in her own bowl and ate it.
It smells very fragrant as soon as you put it in your mouth. It is really delicious.
Aunt Lu ate the fried egg in just a few bites and still felt that one was not enough. She then cursed herself in her heart, thinking that one was not enough and she wanted a second one. She was so greedy.
Fortunately, there were fried egg pancakes and steamed buns. Aunt Lu instantly forgot about frying the eggs when she started eating them. She nodded frequently while eating. This was delicious too!
After dinner, Lu Yuxiu went to the camp, and the little guy went out with his schoolbag to find Xiaojun to go to school together.
Lin Xia wanted to wash the dishes, but Aunt Lu took them away and said, "Go sit down and take a rest. I'll wash the dishes."
No one can eat for free without working. If Aunt Lu doesn’t find something to do, she might not be able to eat the next meal.

After Lin Xia came out, she saw Aunt Lu holding the dragon fruit and not knowing where to start.
