Chapter 283 Who are you looking for?
Sun Daming and Chen Huidi looked at the comrade in front of them expectantly, with infinite gratitude in their hearts, hoping that he could help pass it on.
After they found their child, they were so happy about getting it back that they almost forgot about the help from the couple. They knew that the other party was from the island's troops, but there were so many legions on the island that it would be difficult to find them all at once, so they brought their things here.
They thought that they might know the exact address, and thus could help them deliver the items to the benefactor.
The young clerk looked at the banner, thank-you letter and a bunch of other things in front of him with great embarrassment. He happened to see Captain Shen coming in from the corner of his eye, and immediately waved and shouted, "Captain Shen, over here!"
As soon as Shen Yan entered the door, he saw the receptionist calling him, and the couple in front of him looked somewhat familiar.
"What's the matter?" Shen Yan looked at Sun Daming and his wife.
"They said they wanted to thank the benefactor for sending these things even though they didn't know the address." The young clerk pointed to the things in front of him.
"Yes, yes! Comrades, we are really grateful. These are all our thoughts." Chen Huidi's haggard face was full of gratitude.
Ever since her child went missing and was found, she has been nervous all the time. Sometimes she dreams in the middle of the night that her child is lost, and then she stares at the child all night. She simply cannot imagine what would happen if the child was really lost.
Chen Yan looked at the two of them and pondered for a few seconds, "I can help you pass on this thank-you letter and banner. You can give these things yourself when you have the chance."
Sun Daming and Chen Huidi looked at each other, and seeing that they could give away two items, they quickly nodded in agreement.
"The child wasn't scared, was he?" Shen Yan looked around and didn't see the two people bringing the child with them.
"The child is not scared. He is being watched by his grandparents at home." Chen Huidi doesn't dare to take the child out for the time being.
"Okay, I'll pass these on to you. Be more careful when you take your children out in the future." Shen Yan said, taking the letter and the flag into the office.
When the confession was recorded, the addresses of Lin Xia and Lu Yuxiu were left. Glancing at the letter on the table, Shen Yan instructed the young clerk: "Send it to the office in this place, and then trouble them to deliver it in person."
......
Lin Xia then took a good rest for two or three days, and her life returned to her usual routine. Every day she read books, did housework, cooked, took An An to study, and played with the two who came to join in the fun.
When teaching An An to recite poems, I told her stories while guiding her to recite. I don’t know if the two little ones understood or not, but they babbled along with me anyway. Sometimes they got so excited that they didn’t understand a word.
The consequence of this was that the two of them gradually used more vocabulary in their conversation, although Lin Xia often couldn't understand what they were saying.
That morning, Lin Xia was taking the children to carry out extracurricular practical activities in the yard, teaching them to recognize the types of plants: that is, weeding.
There were shouts coming from outside the yard gate, accompanied by some noise. If the person shouting had not been Zhou Hong, Lin Xia might not have opened the door.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw Director Pei standing there with two uniformed staff members and several military wives surrounding them.
Lin Xia looked at so many people staring at her with eager eyes, and she swallowed nervously, trying to recall carefully in her mind: she shouldn't have done anything bad, right?
Shouldn't I run?
The story begins with the Women's Federation Office.
"Really?" Director Pei looked at the two comrades in front of him in surprise. His initial panic turned into disbelief.
Looking at the banner in front of me with the words "brave and resourceful" written on it, I still couldn't believe it. But it was sent by the police, so it couldn't be fake.
"Yes, please show us the way, Director." The clerk looked at Director Pei politely.
"No problem, no problem." Director Pei nodded happily and took them to the staff quarters.
I couldn't help but sigh in my heart that Comrade Lin Xialin is really extraordinary. He can do a great thing just by taking a train and even receive a banner and a letter of thanks.
It seems that this vacant job really belongs to her! After thinking about it, there is no one more suitable than her. Now that the child is older and easier to take care of, she should be able to come to work, right?
As soon as Director Pei and his uniformed comrades entered the family area, they attracted attention. After all, this was a military family compound, and when there were problems, everyone asked the army to handle them, and no one had ever seen a public security officer.
Did something happen?
Some people looked at each other, wondering what big thing had happened that would attract the police here.
Some brave people or those who wanted to watch the fun followed and were very curious about whose house they were going to.
When they passed by the family building, they saw that they were still walking, so they knew they were not looking for the family building. The group of people immediately relaxed, as they were afraid that they might get into trouble.
After they knew it had nothing to do with them, they followed more and more boldly. Some did not want to miss out on the latest news, while others were worried about who the person was looking for. Could it be someone they were close to?
Zhou Hong felt more relaxed after finding out that it had nothing to do with the family building. But when she saw Director Pei and the others were heading towards Lin Xia's home, she felt a little uneasy.
Zhou Hong sneaked up to Director Pei to get some information. She glanced at the clerk and asked Director Pei in a low voice, "Who are you looking for?"
Director Pei glanced at Zhou Hong, knowing that she had a good relationship with Lin Xia, and did not intend to hide it, "Don't worry, it's a good thing."
Zhou Hong's eyes lit up when she heard what Director Pei said. The tone of his voice showed that he was really going to find Lin Xia. Since it was not a bad thing, it must be a good thing, right?
Zhou Hong was no longer worried and followed with high spirits.
More and more people followed me, and it looked like they were about to fight.
The two officers saw the door in front of them open, adjusted their hats and asked, "Excuse me, is this Comrade Lin Xia?"
"Excuse me, what can I do for you?" Lin Xia saw Zhou Hong winking at her in a funny way. Director Pei smiled and felt relieved, thinking that he was not here to arrest her.
An An looked at so many people outside and felt a little scared. She brought Lele and Ningning to Lin Xia. The three of them reached out and grabbed Lin Xia's clothes, looking timidly towards the door.
"We are here to present a banner and a letter of thanks. The parents of the rescued child specially sent it to the police station and insisted that it be delivered to you. Thank you, Comrade Lin, for your wit and bravery in rescuing us in times of distress!" The two officers raised their hands and saluted, admiring Lin Xia very much.
After hearing this, Lin Xia knew it was about what happened on the train. She raised her hand to return the greeting, and replied a little embarrassedly: "It just happened by chance, it's nothing."
"What's going on?"
"Director Pei, do you know what happened?" Someone was confused and immediately asked Director Pei what happened.
