Chapter 308: Unaware of the Law
Lin Xia and Director Pei had just reached the first floor, and before they went upstairs they heard a loud noise upstairs.
Lin Xia didn't live in the family building and didn't know the situation. When Director Pei heard the noise coming from upstairs, he couldn't help but quicken his pace.
When the two went upstairs, they saw a circle of people gathered in front of Hu Lanlan's house.
"Director Pei is here!"

"Let me in." Director Pei said in a deep voice with a stern face.
"This house is really a mess. If Director Pei has nothing to do, please go and visit someone else's house. We have things to do at home." Zhao Hehua stood guard at the door and refused with a smile.
"We are here for a home visit to see how Hu Lanlan is doing."
Zhao Hehua stopped smiling and said, "Director Pei, you can't just go to anyone's house whenever you want, right? I have something going on at home, so I can't entertain you."
"We received a request from Hu Lanlan for help, and we have the right to come to your house to check. If you don't want to open the door, we will call the police and let the police come to check." Lin Xia stared at Zhao Hehua and said.

"I advise you to take a good look at the law. The Marriage Law stipulates that the marriage age for men is 20 years old and for women is 18 years old. If you want to marry Hu Lanlan off now, you are violating the law!" Lin Xia held up the civil law book in her hand.
The Civil Code at that time was still established in 1950. This was a time when there was a need to promote fertility, so the marriage age had to be younger, but it still had to be at least 18 years old. In fact, Lin Xia was 19 years old when she married Lu Yuxiu.

The door of the room was closed. Lin Xia couldn't help but look at Director Pei. She was trespassing. If Zhao Hehua knew the law, she could sue her.
