Chapter 180 It’s all your fault!
The little guy was still wearing white pajamas and looked soft and cute. He pushed the door with one hand to let Wang Guilan in.
After she went in, the little guy stood on tiptoe to tie it up again. That look was so cute that it touched Wang Guilan's heart.
"Let me do it." Putting down the carrying pole in her hand, Wang Guilan turned around to close the door.
When the little guy saw that the door was bolted, he ran back into the house and climbed the stairs grunting to see if his mother was awake.
When Lin Xia opened her eyes, she saw the little guy walking into the room. Seeing that Lin Xia was awake, the little guy ran to the bedside, tilted his head and said, "Mom, you're awake!"
There were still peach crumbs stuck on her pink little face. Lin Xia picked up her watch and saw that it was almost half past eight. She couldn't help but blush. It was all Lu Yuxiu's fault for staying up too late yesterday.
"Are you hungry?" Lin Xia turned over and got up. She was also hungry.
"Well, I ate peach pastry." The little girl nodded. She only ate one piece but was not full.
"Why don't you call mommy?" Lin Xia changed her clothes and then changed the little one's clothes. A lot of peach crumbs fell on her off-white pajamas.
The little guy shook his head and touched Lin Xia's belly with his little hand, "Dad said that my sister needs to sleep more."
Lin Xia combed the little guy's messy hair and tied it into two small buns, instantly turning him into a cute little baby.
Lin Xia's stomach growled. The little guy heard the noise and asked curiously, "Mom, is my sister hungry?"
"Wait a minute, sister. We'll be eating soon. Be good!"
Without waiting for Lin Xia to answer, the little guy coaxed his belly like an adult, and then put his little head on Lin Xia's belly to listen.
Lin Xia was amused. "What did my sister say?"
The little guy didn't hear anything, his eyes rolled, "Sister said she was hungry."
Lin Xia was amused by her and laughed out loud, taking the little one downstairs.
Then he saw Wang Guilan and the two buckets in the corridor. He looked a little embarrassed and said, "I'm sorry I got up late."
"You haven't eaten yet? Then I'll make it now." Wang Guilan knew that pregnant women tend to be sleepy, so she didn't think much about it. She wiped her hands and went to the kitchen.
Lin Xia's ears turned red, and she smiled at Wang Guilan sheepishly, "Please ask Sister Guilan to make two bowls of noodles."
She was wrong. She shouldn't have made oysters yesterday. It was the same thing last time, but there were no outsiders around at that time. Fortunately, she could still use the excuse of being pregnant, otherwise she would be too embarrassed to see anyone.
Soon, Lin Xia finished washing up, and Wang Guilan had finished cooking the noodles and also put two eggs in it.
She had been working in Lin Xia's house for so long that she had figured out some of Lin Xia's habits. Other things were easy to deal with, but she would not compromise at all when it came to food.
When Lin Xia saw the eggs in the bowl, she was very satisfied. She knew that people nowadays were used to being frugal, but in Lin Xia's opinion, health was the most important thing. The best thing about Wang Guilan was that she would not bring her own living habits to Lin Xia's home.
Seeing the two of them eating, Wang Guilan picked up the basket and prepared to go out to buy food. "After you finish eating, leave the bowls there. I'll come back and wash them later."
"It's okay, go ahead."
After finishing the meal with the little one, Lin Xia didn’t wait for Wang Guilan to come back and just washed the two bowls.
After taking a break after dinner, Lin Xia remembered that she still had something to talk to the bookstore owner about. She asked the little girl, but she said she wanted to go play with other children and didn't want to go with them. Lin Xia didn't force her and packed her bag and went out.
Arriving at the bookstore, Lin Xia walked in and saw the owner's expression of shock and then tears of joy. Perhaps he didn't expect Lin Xia to come again.
He had been very anxious these past two days. When he saw Lin Xia coming, he felt happy but also nervous. He believed that after that day, she should have known that there might be trouble with those books, right?
Lin Xia had no idea what the bookstore owner was thinking, so when she saw that there was no one in the store, she told him her purpose.
He had expected Lin Xia to return the books or to contact him to terminate her purchase of books, but he never expected that Lin Xia actually wanted to continue buying books. When he heard that the shop would close later and her husband would come to get the books, the bookstore owner couldn't help but have tears in his eyes.
"Thank you!" The difference between men and women prevented him from doing anything impolite, so the bookstore owner had to bow deeply.
Lin Xia stepped aside very embarrassedly, not wanting to accept this gift. She was also benefiting from it. The two of them were in a relationship of buyer and seller, and many of the ancient books in the book were out of print. Not to mention that knowledge is priceless, she was getting a bargain just from the collection value.
If there were no benefits, she wouldn't take the risk.
After agreeing on a time with the bookstore owner, Lin Xia turned around and went to the supply and marketing cooperative to buy some needles and thread. The thread for making clothes had run out, and her family had sent her a lot of cloth, so she had to buy some more.
After shopping and returning home, Wang Guilan had not come back yet, but she came back first.
She started to pack up the two buckets of seafood. She didn't plan to keep any fresh oysters today. That would be digging her own grave!
......
After listening to Lu Yuxiu's words, Captain Zhou was furious. When he returned home and saw that his wife didn't see Zhou Haiyang, he couldn't help but get angry.
"Where do you get so angry? What did that boy do?" Shen Yulan was cooking. When she heard her husband's movement, she asked curiously. She had not heard any news of her son getting into trouble.
"You don't even know what he did! How do you take care of your child?" Captain Zhou was furious.
After hearing this, Shen Yulan couldn't stand it no matter how good her temper was. "Is he my son? Even if he gets into trouble, is it just my responsibility?"
Shen Yulan was so angry at her husband's words. He spoke as if she could give birth to the children by herself. He used to be busy with training and missions, and was often away from home for several months. It can be said that she raised two children by herself.
Now, if the child gets into trouble, it is her sole responsibility.
Captain Zhou: "You are at home taking care of the child, don't you know what he is doing outside?"
Shen Yulan: "I wasn't with him, how would I know what he did? You, as a father, don't know, so how should I know?"
"It's all your fault!"
Captain Zhou blurted out something in a rage. As soon as he said it, he knew it was a disaster. He had said the wrong thing, but his daughter was still beside him, and he couldn't lower his head to admit his mistake.
Shen Yulan was so angry that she felt like vomiting blood. She threw away the spatula in her hand and couldn't hold back her tears. She was afraid that her daughter would feel embarrassed if she saw it, so she turned around and went back to her room.
Zhou Haiyan was shivering on the side. For some reason, her parents started arguing.
Captain Zhou wanted to say something to his wife, but then he saw his daughter standing aside and asked with a stiff face, "Where is your brother?"
"No, I don't know." Zhou Haiyan hadn't seen Zhou Haiyang for a day and really didn't know what to do.
"Then what do you do at home every day!" Captain Zhou couldn't find the bad boy and had a quarrel with his wife. His mood was getting worse and worse.
Zhou Haiyan didn't expect the sudden impact. Thinking of the quarrel just now, she closed her eyes and shouted boldly: "You are still his father. If you don't know, how can I know!"
After saying that, he didn't dare to look at his father's expression and immediately slipped into his mother's room.
"Every day!" Captain Zhou saw that he was the only one left in the living room, and his brows were furrowed with anger at his daughter's words.
"Open the door!"
Just then, Zhou Haiyang’s voice came from outside the door.
