Chapter 191 Mother and Son Join Forces
Wang Qinglan was so frightened that she couldn't breathe, but she tried her best to calm herself down. It must be a person, it must be a person.
As the woman in white drew closer, her mottled face became even more frightening.
Most importantly, her legs didn't move as if she were walking; she floated over.
It drifted over...
Wang Qinglan felt her scalp tingle instantly, her hair standing on end, and she stammered, "Are you... a human or... a ghost...?"
Before she could react, the woman in white had already floated in front of her, the dark muzzle of a gun pointed at her forehead, her voice hoarse: "Wang Qinglan...don't you remember me? Wang Qinglan..."
"I've been waiting for you for so many years, why haven't you come yet..."
Wang Qinglan's mind went blank, and she screamed and fainted. Before she fainted, she thought: It's Bian Suxi, Bian Suxi has come to take her life.
Bian Suxi kicked Wang Qinglan: "Useless thing, you've already fainted?"
Shang Xingzhou ran out from behind a tree not far away: "Mom, Mom, how was my skill?"
Then, looking at the unconscious Wang Qinglan, he angrily wanted to kick her a couple of times: "Mom, it was her! She called me a little beast when we were in Ganbei!"
Bian Suxi gave an "oh" and deftly stepped on Wang Qinglan's mouth, grinding it hard a few times.
He kicked Wang Qinglan repeatedly in the body and stomach, but Wang Qinglan remained motionless as if she were dead.
Shang Xingzhou suddenly noticed steam rising from under Wang Qinglan's body, and exclaimed in disgust, pinching his nose: "Mom, she wet her pants."
Bian Suxi stomped on her fingers a few more times and directed her son, "Quick, put away the rope and the sled. I hear a car."
Shang Xingzhou quickly gathered up the rope and sled on the road, holding them with one hand and pulling Bian Suxi with the other, and ran into the woods by the roadside.
Once in the woods, the thick fog would conceal them from being discovered.
Bian Suxi quickly shoved a section of steel pipe into Shang Xingzhou's hand: "This is yours."
She just used this as a gun barrel to scare Wang Qinglan.
Shang Xingzhou didn't think much of it and stuffed it into his pocket: "Mom, was my speed control okay just now?"
The road was icy. Bian Suxi stood on the sled, her skirt falling to the ground. Shang Xingzhou hid to the side, holding the rope, and Bian Suxi could slide forward without moving.
Although there was a sound, Wang Qinglan was so frightened that she didn't pay any attention.
Bian Suxi glanced at her silly-looking son and nodded: "It's alright, but it's too fast. If it were slower, she would be even more scared."
Shang Xingzhou also felt the excitement and thrill of doing something naughty: "The bicycle is ahead, let's hurry back, or my dad will definitely find out."
Bian Suxi paused for a moment, then said, "Your father has probably already found out."
These past two days, the two of them have been following Wang Qinglan and discussing countless plans. They discovered that Wang Qinglan goes out to find connections every day at four or five o'clock, or goes out in the middle of the night to find connections, since it would be inconvenient to be discovered during the day.
They really managed to block us today.
Shang Xingzhou hurriedly rode his bicycle back to their temporary home in Beijing with his mother.
Before entering the door, Bian Suxi took off her long white dress, rolled it up, and stuffed it into a flowerpot by the door.
Shang Shiyi sat on a wooden chair in the living room, watching his son and wife enter. He wanted to get angry, but seeing his wife's pale face, he suppressed his anger, got up, went over and took her hand: "Why are you so cold? Where did you go so early this morning?"
His tone was gentle and patient.
Bian Suxi lowered her eyes: "Xiaozhou said he would take me out to see the world."
Shang Shiyi noticed that his wife's face was abnormally white. He reached out and touched it; his fingers were completely white, like the powder applied to the face of an opera singer. The burn scars also looked fake, deeper and more frightening. He guessed something was wrong and finally said helplessly, "Go wash your face and go back to sleep for a while."
Bian Suxi obediently walked towards the bedroom. As she passed Shang Xingzhou, she gently patted her son's arm, telling him to pray for good fortune.
As soon as his wife entered the room, Shang Shiyi's expression immediately turned serious. He stared at Shang Xingzhou and said, "Your mother is not in good health, and you still secretly take her out. You're getting bolder and bolder. What have you been doing? I haven't been home for the past two days. Have you been going out every day?"
Shang Xingzhou took a step back in fright: "No, nothing. I just went out for a walk."
Shang Shiyi pointed to his pocket: "What's in there?"
Shang Xingzhou hesitated for a moment, then pulled out a piece of iron pipe: "It's nothing, just a piece of iron pipe."
Why does he feel like he's been betrayed by his own mother?
Shang Shiyi had a headache: "What...what do you plan to do with this?"
Shang Xingzhou muttered under his breath, "I didn't mean to do anything, it's just a piece of iron pipe."
Shang Shiyi controlled his voice: "You're not allowed to take your mother out anymore. Stay in Beijing for a few days and then go back. It's time for your enlistment."
Shang Xingzhou obediently responded and ran back to his room.
Shang Shiyi rubbed his temples, feeling a bit of a headache. He wanted to send his wife back to Shanghai, but before he could get her back, his son showed up.
Bian Suxi is in poor health, but her personality hasn't changed at all; she will definitely do whatever she wants to do.
...
Jiang Zhizhi only heard about it when she returned home in the evening. Wang Qinglan had been found on the street and taken to the hospital, where she had already gone insane.
Fang Hua was puzzled: "He was perfectly fine when he left our house, how could he have gone insane from fright halfway there?"
Jiang Zhizhi was also surprised: "Yeah, how did he become mentally unstable?"
Fang Hua shook his head: "I heard that when she was taken to the hospital, she kept shouting 'Don't arrest me! There's a ghost! There's a ghost!' and she kept hitting people everywhere. However, when she was taken to the hospital, she was covered in bruises and her front teeth were gone. It looked like she had been beaten up."
Jiang Zhizhi really wanted to go and see: "Won't they suspect our family?"
Fang Hua chuckled: "Does she dare? She left the compound perfectly fine, and we didn't go out either. Who could hit her? She's offended a lot of people. Maybe it was Lai Lao Si's family who beat her. But I plan to go check it out later."
Because it was discovered nearby, it was sent to the nearest chemical hospital, which is less than a ten-minute walk from the compound.
Jiang Zhizhi immediately became interested: "I want to go and see too."
He turned to Zhou Xiye and asked, "Do you want to come along and take a look?"
Zhou Xiye glanced at the two people who were eager to go see the excitement and shook his head: "You two go ahead, I'm going out to take care of some things in a bit."
Fang Hua glanced outside: "It's getting dark, be careful when you go out."
Because we were eager to see the excitement, we ate much faster.
After dinner, Fang Hua asked Jiang Zhizhi to take the dishes to the kitchen and wash them when they returned. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law changed their clothes and hurriedly went out.
On the way, Jiang Zhizhi wrapped her scarf around her neck and asked Fang Hua, "Isn't it too obvious that we're going empty-handed?"
Fang Hua frowned: "Not empty-handed, but bringing her some food? Does she even deserve it? I'm only going to see her out of consideration for our past acquaintance, that's giving her enough face."
When the two arrived at the hospital, the corridor was deserted, with eerie screams heard from time to time.
The door to Wang Qinglan's ward was locked from the outside, and the only way to see inside was through the glass window in the door.
Wang Qinglan knelt facing the wall, crying and pleading, "I didn't kill you, please, please spare me..."
After saying that, he kept kowtowing to the wall, saying, "Don't come any closer, please don't come any closer, I was wrong... I know I was wrong..."
