What they didn't see was that Cheng Ya's performance continued after she was kicked out of the yard, but it wasn't the boss who pushed her; it was a conditioned reflex from her body.
She was afraid that if she didn't roll away, she would be devoured by the snake in the next second.
When she encountered an obstacle and could no longer roll, she quickly got up and, as if powered by an electric motor, sped off at a speed beyond human potential, leaving the crowd of people in the compound who were watching her roll around completely bewildered.
"Why does the Cheng family's little girl still like to roll around on the ground even though she's so big?"
"Hey, I think she rolled out of the Zhou family's house. She was screaming as she rolled, like she was performing a monkey show. Does the Zhou family enjoy watching this kind of performance?"
"Seriously? If she really likes watching this performance, she can just roll around in the Zhou family's yard. Why is she rolling out here?"
"Right, shouldn't she have gone back to the Zhou family after the performance? She ran towards the Cheng family."
"Didn't you all notice that her face was as white as paper? She was running like a ghost, she must have been scared by something."
"You mean something from the Zhou family scared her? Don't talk nonsense and scare people."
"Why would I scare you? I'm just stating the facts. Otherwise, why would Cheng girl be acting like this?"

Everyone chimed in, talking about everything from Cheng Ya's mud-rolling hoop to wishful thinking.
None of the Zhou family members knew this; everyone was in a state of confusion, except for Shi Shi and Chou Chou, who were laughing so hard they were doubled over.
The two were happy but couldn't say anything. After making sure Cheng Ya hadn't dirtied the floor, they ran back to their room and burst into laughter.
They laughed heartily and loudly, their laughter reaching downstairs. The Zhou family assumed they were simply amused by Cheng Ya's inexplicable behavior.
Because Cheng Ya shouted about snakes, they searched everywhere but found nothing, and assumed she was just being crazy.
Finally, the rascal is gone, and the air in the house feels much fresher.
