Back home, Xie Lin hurriedly slipped into the air.
"Big brother, second brother, where did he get in from?"
Both of its large tails pointed at the pond at the same time.
Hiss. (It floated up.)
Xie Lin couldn't understand it, but after working together for a long time, he could guess the general idea from the gestures.
"Did it come up from underwater?"
The eldest brother nodded.
Suddenly a dark figure floated up, startling him and his wife.
Even a stinky egg isn't as dark-skinned as him.
But that person still has a heartbeat, so we can't bury them.
Xie Lin's head was buzzing.
What's going on?
Could his space connect to the sea outside?
ocean?
Oh, right.
In a flash of inspiration, Xie Lin suddenly remembered seeing his comrades' patrol boats on the mountain earlier, and how they looked as if they were searching for something.
Are they looking for someone?
Could it be that I accidentally brought this person in when I was collecting the fish?
That's most likely the case; otherwise, it wouldn't make sense for it to appear in his private space out of nowhere.
Regardless, the first thing to do now is to see if this person is dead or alive.
If he's alive, he'll have to take him out; it's not a good thing for him to wake up here.
After moving the man to the shore, he was almost startled by his dark, shiny skin.
Even the greenhorns who train year-round are fairer than him. Could it be that he's exposed to the sun all day long?
I checked his breathing; he was still alive, but very weak. He needed immediate resuscitation.
After a series of emergency treatments, the man vomited a large amount of water.
When he slowly regained consciousness after vomiting, he knocked him unconscious with a single palm strike.
"Eldest brother, second brother, I'm going out. You two keep an eye on the house. Call me if anything seems wrong."
After thinking for a moment, he added, "Boss, just tap the ground lightly, don't hit it too hard, it's making my head spin."
Hiss. (Got it.)
I'll do it again next time.
Xie Lin could tell from its cunning little eyes that it wouldn't listen.
The two guys are getting more and more mischievous.
He remembered there was a bell in the pile of toys, quite big. He quickly looked around, grabbed it, and shook it. The bell rang quite clearly.
"Here, I'll hang this up the tree in a bit. If you're looking for me, tap this with your tail. I'll come in when I hear it."
The eldest brother has a flat mouth, so what difference does it make where he knocks?
At the pond, you have to run back to the tree to knock on it, which is troublesome.
Xie Lin smiled and patted its big head before slipping out and walking towards the outside of the courtyard.
Little did he know, the two of them rebelled the moment he stepped out, took the bell off, and after a brief discussion, the couple hung it around the younger son's neck.
Ring, ring, ring ring~~
They seem to be in a hurry.
Xie Lin thought someone else had arrived and looked into the space...
The second child was shaking his head.
I guess I wasn't quite satisfied, so I switched it to the big tail, where it waddled happily.
Ring ring ring~~
Satisfied.
Then the two snakes went to play on the slide with the bell. The loud friction sound, along with the sound of the bell hitting the slide, was unforgettable.
Xie Lin: ...He regretted it.
Two stinky snakes.
He shook his head, silently blocking out the noise.
"Hey, you stinky egg, where are you going?"
Shishi took Chou Chou and Xiao Shi to the service store to buy popsicles, and Han Shuyun gave them the money.
This is a new variety of mung bean flavored one. It's such a coincidence that I ran into the head of the family on the way.
"I went up the mountain; I just dropped something."
Shishi generously shoved the popsicle into his mouth, and Xie Lin took a bite from her hand; it was icy cold.
"Shishi, the weather is getting cold, you can't eat too much of this."
"I know, Mom said I can only eat one."
She proactively placed her other free hand into Xie Lin's large palm, making it clear that she wanted to go too.
Xie Lin: ...I really can't be separated from you for a moment.
Ugly and Little Master were constantly talking, their little hands tugging at the hem of his clothes.
Okay, one person has become four.
When they got to the mountain, they realized they hadn't lost anything; they had picked up a person.
The four of them arrived at the beach behind the mountain.
After his comrades' ship left, Xie Lin looked around and, seeing that no one was around, released the man from his spatial storage.
"Wow, he's so dark-skinned!" the three exclaimed in unison.
Xie Lin hummed in agreement.
It's alright as long as everyone is safe.
"Ugly, give him some water, he's probably starving."
Looking at the thick calluses on his hands, it's easy to guess that he's a laborer who works year-round.
The man was dark-skinned and emaciated, clearly having not eaten for a long time, or perhaps having eaten one meal but not three.
Don't wake up feeling dizzy and disoriented, otherwise it will be inconvenient to ask you questions.
Chou Chou put her finger into the man's mouth, poured in about a bowl of water, and then withdrew her little hand.
Xie Lin didn't use much force to chop the person. He fainted so quickly simply because he was weak. After drinking a bowl of supernatural water, he woke up in no time.
The evening sun wasn't harsh, but it was still dazzling. The man slowly opened his eyes, then closed them again, and only opened them again after a while when his eyes had adjusted.
He was startled by the sight of four heads of different sizes, which nearly gave him a moment of lucidity before death.
"Who are you? Where is this place?" The voice was hoarse.
"You were washed ashore by the sea. We happened to be playing here and rescued you. Who are you? How did you end up in the sea?"
Xie Lin countered with a question.
The man turned his head and realized that he was indeed at the beach, and his tattered clothes were wet.
Memories come together.
"I am Wan Tiezhu, a villager from Nanwa Village. I fell into the sea while fishing with Yu Yu. I survived and was washed ashore on a barren island."
"I hadn't encountered any ships for months. A few days ago, I was brought back by a military ship."
"I remember we were almost at shore, and I was so happy to see my mother, wife and daughter that I stood by the boat. As a result, I was swept into the sea by the waves."
