Chapter 320 Wan Jiaxin, open the door, your father is hungry.

While Wan Tiezhu was in a trance, the four of them landed safely and could see the village.

After walking for a few minutes, Xie Lin asked, "Comrade Wan, which room is yours?"

The houses in the village are built side by side along the mountainside, with three rooms in each row and courtyards in the front and back.

Approaching home, Wan Tiezhu felt apprehensive; before he could speak, tears streamed down his face.

He choked up as he said, "Comrade, it's the last room in the second row."

He had already seen his mother.

His hair has turned white, and his back is bent.

Mother, it is your unfilial son who has failed you.

After the old lady finished peeling the bamboo shoot leaves, she stood up shakily and rubbed her back for a long time.

As she prepared to go back to the kitchen to get a basin, she seemed to sense something and looked up outside.

Her vision was blurry; she could see several people moving around, but she couldn't make out their faces.

Strange, how did they get out of there?

Could it have come from the other side of the mountain?

It's very steep over there, you're really brave.

She shook her head, supported her waist, and was about to leave when she suddenly heard a familiar voice calling her name.

"mother."

The voice was so familiar that it broke her heart; she dreamed of hearing her son's voice, but each time she woke up, she was disappointed.

My heart aches, but I have no choice but to face reality.

"Grandma, what's wrong? Is your back hurting again?"

Wan Jiaxin brought out a basin from the kitchen and saw her grandmother rubbing her back again, her face full of worry.

The old lady smiled bitterly, "Of course it hurts, my back is probably never going to get better."

"Grandma is fine. Jiaxin, pack the bamboo shoots. Grandma will pickle them later."

"Okay, Grandma."

"Mother, Jiaxin, I'm back."

The grandfather and grandson paused for a moment and turned around in surprise, only to see a tall man standing outside the fenced yard, his body bound with many vines.

Their gazes fell on the gaunt, dark face behind the man. The old woman cried out "Son!" and fainted.

Xie Lin: ......

Wan Tiezhu: ......

Wan Jiaxin reacted quickly and helped the person up, both surprised and frightened.

What is the Queen's husband doing here? Is he carrying a human or a ghost?

Don't blame her for not recognizing her own father; he was frighteningly dark-skinned, and his face was so thin it looked like a skeleton.

Shishi stepped forward and said, "Wan Jiaxin, open the door quickly! We've brought your dad back from rescue."

The fence was so thick and high that Chou Chou and Xiao Shi could only jump up to show their faces.

"Wan Jiaxin, open the door, your dad is hungry."

"Yes, he is your father. We rescued him at the beach."

Wan Jiaxin desperately hoped that the skeleton was her father, or at least a living father.

But she needed to support her grandmother, so she couldn't open the door.

"Mom, Mom, my father is back! Come out and open the door!"

Xia Lanfang returned from the beach, smelling strongly of the sea, and took a shower in the bathroom.

She had just heard her mother-in-law scream, so she quickly sped out.

As soon as I opened the door, I heard my daughter's words and almost slipped and fell, but luckily I managed to steady myself by holding onto the wall.

She was both afraid and expectant.

She didn't believe her husband would abandon her and always firmly believed he would come back.

It's been several months.

He really came back.

She finally got what she'd been waiting for.

Tears streamed down her face as she rushed to open the door.

"Tiezhu, is that you? Is it really you?"

Where are they?

Wan Tiezhu stretched out his withered, black hand.

"Wife, it's me, I'm here."

Xia Lanfang turned her head with teary eyes, her face filled with surprise, her heart pounding, then her head pounded, her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed.

Xie Lin: ......

Wan Tiezhu: ......

Shishi grabbed her by the back of her collar to prevent her from falling to the ground.

"Hey, are they just too happy to see Uncle Black?"

"Black Uncle" is a very apt description.

Xie Lin thought to himself, to be honest, he was absolutely terrified.

"She was too excited, that's why she fainted. Shishi, help her inside."

Wan Jiaxin's heart pounded as she looked at the moving black bones, and she mustered her courage to verify them.

Are you really my father?

"Yes, I am your father."

"Then do you know how old I am, and what my birthday is?"

"You are 8 years old this year, and your birthday is August 9th, Jiaxin. Dad is sorry that I couldn't be with you for your birthday this year."

Wan Jiaxin believed it completely, and tears streamed down her face.

"Father, it really is my father, sob sob, Father, you're finally back."

She wanted to rush over and hug her father, crying bitterly, but she had her grandmother in her arms, and her father was on someone else's back.

"Jiaxin, don't cry. Take your mother and grandmother inside."

While sobbing, Wan Jiaxin asked Chou Chou and Xiao Shi to help her carry her grandmother into the house, as she couldn't move her by herself.

She was thinking of helping him up, but Chou Chou and Xiao Shi carried him inside.

Wan Jiaxin wanted to help the Queen, but then she saw the Queen lift her mother into the house with one hand.

Shishi said that carrying it makes walking easier.

She had no choice but to run inside.

Ugly examined their bodies and found some minor ailments, but nothing serious, so he quickly fixed them for them.

He was so poor he couldn't even afford food, yet he still knew to reciprocate by giving Shishi eggs. He has good character; consider it an act of kindness.

When Wan Tiezhu saw that they had entered the master bedroom, he remembered what the little girl had said earlier.

"Jiaxin, have you been staying in this room all along?"

"No, this room is occupied by my second uncle and second aunt. They won't let us stay here even though it's empty. The three of us were all forced to move to the woodshed."

“They went to the city to give birth, did bad things, and were arrested yesterday. My grandmother cut ties with them and asked my mother and me to move back. My grandmother moved back to the main house.”

"Queen's husband, could you please put my father in my grandmother's room?"

She led him to a side room in the main house.

Wan Tiezhu's chest heaved with anger.

There were two master bedrooms, originally one for the first room and one for the second room. The old lady lived in a room separated from the main room, so there was no problem with not having enough room.
