Chapter 323 Thief, I'll gladly accept it, haha!

Xiao Dan frowned.

Xie Jiancheng, if he had any sense of propriety, righteousness, integrity, or shame, would not have abandoned his wife and children. No matter how high-sounding his words may be, the suffering Xie Lin endured as a child cannot be erased.

Is this person brainless?

How exactly did he get the position of battalion commander?

Shouldn't the normal approach be to keep to ourselves and not interfere with each other? Why do we have to make them feel ashamed?

All three of them came; clearly, none of them are mentally sound.

It's also possible that the dog was desperate and climbed the wall recklessly.

"Xiao Xie, handle this properly. We'll just follow the rules."

We don't steal or rob; we earn our own living with our own hands. Why should unrelated people reap the rewards?

Do you think his son-in-law is easy to bully?

Do they think the Xiao family is easy to bully?

Oh!

“Dad, I know. I’ve already explained it to them. They’ve mistaken me for someone else.”

Xiao Dan hummed in agreement, turned around, and went to the next room.

Xie Hao knew he wouldn't get his way tonight. He was unwilling but there was nothing he could do. He could only take his equally unwilling wife and sister home.

He was so jealous.

That's the Xiao family.

The Xiao family, whose mere stomp of their feet could shake the capital.

Why wasn't it him who called Xiao Dan "father-in-law"?

"Shishi, Chou Chou, Xiao Shi, go back and take a bath. Have you finished your homework? If not, hurry up and finish it after your bath. It's too late and bad for your eyes."

The three of them froze at the same time, their eyes looking quite innocent.

They forgot.

I forgot how to dance.

Upon seeing this, Liu Mei burst into laughter.

"Xingxing hasn't written it either. The children aren't used to it yet. Xiaoqin and Xiaozhao, have you written it?"

The two brothers nodded.

They just finished writing it at home.

Chen Xiao often taught them to write, so it became a habit.

Liu Mei patted their little heads, "You're such good kids."

After taking a bath at the Xiao family's house, Xie Lin led them into his spatial dimension to write, since it was indeed dark and the lights weren't on.

I hadn't thought of this before. From now on, I'll remind them to do their homework as soon as they get home from school, and then let them play.

The teacher didn't assign much homework, just practice writing letters correctly. The three of them practiced for a full hour to make their letters look nice before going outside to sleep.

"You stinky egg, remember to call Shishi when you open the door."

"Brother, don't leave out Chou Chou."

"Brother, there's still Xiaoshi. We can't abandon Xiaoshi."

"Okay, I know. Go to sleep now, time flies when you're asleep."

The three of them fell asleep instantly.

To keep his energy up, Xie Lin went into his spatial dimension to catch up on sleep, and had the two snakes wake him up on time.

By the time he finished sleeping and went out, more than half an hour had passed outside.

There's still about half an hour left in the waiting time. I'll put the three little pigs into my space to sleep, so that everyone can get a full eight hours of sleep.

He first prepared three meals a day, cooked soup, stir-fried vegetables, and put them all in the warehouse to ensure that he could have a hot meal anytime he was there.

Ugly made a huge golden pot, and several large golden basins, all for the two snakes. The golden pot was for rice, and the golden basins were for vegetables.

The two of them are getting more and more out of control, insisting on eating human food.

Xie Lin couldn't always come in to cook for them, so he would always cook extra. Over time, the hot food in the golden pot and golden basin piled up quite a bit.

After preparing another portion for them, midnight arrived.

He put on his watch and told the two snakes to wake up the little devils later, and he would go first.

As he expected, the door did indeed open at midnight.

Only the location has changed.

He remembered that it used to be a spot where the two walls met at the corner, but this time it was a spot that was one person's width away.

He fumbled around for a while before finding the right spot, then opened the door and heard a commotion.

There were men and women, speaking very quickly, seemingly discussing something, but a deep, angry voice, accompanied by the sound of a glass bottle being smashed, came from one of them.

Fearing the small door would close, Xie Lin hid himself and went out, only to find the exit behind a huge cloth painting.

He hid behind the painting and eavesdropped.

I actually couldn't understand it.

There was another long string of gibberish, followed by a flurry of footsteps, which quieted down after a moment.

He cautiously peeked out and saw a fat, big-eared man with a dark face walk up to the metal cabinet next to him.

He rolled his eyes when he saw the black spot in the middle of the man's nose.

Why is it that both times it appears in the territory of these same goods? Disappointing.

After a few clicks, the metal cabinet opened, and the man reached inside.

Thinking the other person was taking something, I heard a clicking sound behind me the next second.

That voice sounds so familiar.

A locked room.

He quickly came out from behind the painting.

The painting was huge, taking up the entire wall, and was clearly intended to conceal the secret room.

Looking at the painting alone is quite pleasant; it depicts mountains and water, with towering peaks and lush greenery, and birdsong and fragrant flowers.

He followed the fat man inside to draw the small door at the back. The small door closed on both sides, and then another metal door closed inside, forming a small, enclosed space.

He knew it was called an elevator, but he had never ridden one.

The man pressed his thumb against a piece of transparent glass, and two circles appeared on the screen. He moved closer, his eyes meeting the two circles. After a beep, the elevator quickly descended.

The sudden feeling of weightlessness made his heart skip a beat, but fortunately he wasn't a country bumpkin and didn't cry out; his breathing remained steady.

A few seconds later, the feeling of weightlessness disappeared, and the elevator stopped.

He saw that it displayed -2.

The second floor going down means there's a basement level, but I don't know how to get up there.

What's on the first floor? Let's take a look later.

As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he was greeted by a variety of display stands, and the smell of the items on them was very familiar to him.
