Shishi led her entourage into Vice Principal Li's office with great fanfare; the procession was quite impressive and filled the entire office.
"Mom, Dad, I heard you were framed. Don't worry, your sister is here." Nannan got straight to the point.
Deng Yuehong and Jiang Weiguo shook their heads. There was no point in blaming someone for something they hadn't done, and they weren't worried at all.
Vice Principal Li was scolding his niece when he looked up and saw a long line of people. He was a little dumbfounded, but when he looked at the leader, he understood.
On the day she reported for duty, she witnessed firsthand just how large her entourage was.
He happened to run into them and, out of curiosity, asked, "Excuse me, are they all students who got into our school?"
She replied, "There are already five super geniuses here. How many more do you want? Don't worry, if the adults have five geniuses, all the little ones will be geniuses in the future."
"Oh, are there art classes that collect chickens? They're geniuses too."
The three chickens were still flapping their wings and bowing in front of him, raising their heads and spinning on their own to express their versatility.
And so, he remembered this top scholar very vividly.
There were far fewer followers today; those who came were the geniuses she talked about—a bunch of little brats.
Shishi: The missing set of picnic gear went home; we can't lose our cooking utensils.
"Zhou, what brings you here?" Vice Principal Li asked with a smile, then turned around and sternly reprimanded Li Shan and the other four.
"Get back here and reflect on your actions. If this happens again, you'll all be in serious trouble."
The four troublemaking female students were so frightened that they quickly tried to make themselves as inconspicuous as possible.
They recognized that three people had achieved the second-highest score in the national college entrance examination, and two of them were children.
They didn't recognize the others, but they had seen these two kids in the cafeteria. They heard they were from the technical department, and the school would definitely pamper such prodigies. They couldn't afford to offend them.
I heard that the two children are in cahoots with the top scholar, and the top scholar is a girl. Could the girl in front of us be her?
Oh right, those three chickens, everyone in the school is saying that the top student has three wild pheasant pets. And it turns out she really is the top student.
They were scared, but Li Shan, who had been pampered by the Li family since childhood, was fearless and pointed at Yu Hui, shouting loudly.
"Uncle, this wretched woman has a grudge against me. I don't care, you must punish her."
Vice Principal Li cursed the idiot in his heart and decided to go back and have a serious talk with the second wife about education. It's not wrong to spoil children, but spoiling them like this might turn them into a menace one day.
"Shut up and get back here..."
Shishi didn't play by the rules. "Vice Principal Li, do you mean we won't give her a demerit this time?"
“This isn’t the first time she’s bullied people. She’s demanded that her classmates change beds in the dorm, and if they didn’t, she’d say they’d dug up the Li family’s ancestral graves.”
"She held a grudge against Yu over a bed, so petty that she even made Yu kneel down to clean up dog poop she stepped in on the street. This is the first time I've ever seen someone so unreasonable."
"Oh, she has the confidence to be unreasonable. Her confidence comes from the fact that her father is the head of the Education Bureau, her mother is a director, her brother is a soldier, her uncle is a police officer, and her great-uncle is a school principal."
The statement was delivered in a light and indifferent tone, so much so that Vice Principal Li couldn't help but twitch his lips.
Why do I hear a hint of disdain in her voice?
Indeed, with such a large donation, how could the Zhou family be considered ordinary?
The student was unaware, but he knew perfectly well that the person protecting this person was someone of considerable influence.
The commotion that occurred on the last day of registration was something that the person personally participated in.
“Zhou, student…”
“Brother Jiang and Sister Deng are under my protection, and so is classmate Yu. If she dares to lay a hand on my people, it means she is dissatisfied with me.”
"Her dissatisfaction stems from her confidence. Vice Principal, tell me, if I destroy all her confidence, won't she suffer a terrible fate?"
The blatant threat was made to sound as casual as drinking water or eating, leaving Vice Principal Li completely dumbfounded.
“Zhou, student…”
"Yes, I'm here. She has confidence, and so do I. Want to tell you whose family has more officials?"
Big Six puffed out his chest and struck a pose, his childish voice surprisingly assertive, "Hmph, we have so many officials in our family that we can't even count them on two hands."
Xiao Liu started counting on his fingers, "I have three great-grandfathers, two great-grandmothers, two grandfathers, two grandmothers, and two great-grandfathers..."
"Oh dear, we've only counted up to Great-Grandpa, and we're already out of fingers. Little Six still has so many more to count."
Xie Lin suppressed a laugh; how could the mother and her two daughters be so adorable?
Vice Principal Li, who couldn't even finish a sentence: ...I believe you have the confidence, but let me explain first.
"Zhou, it's true that students shouldn't make mistakes. Here's what we'll do: this time, we'll give these five girls a minor demerit. But if they do it again..."
"Why should I be given a demerit? Uncle, you're giving me a demerit for such a small thing? If you can't even protect your niece, are you even qualified? If you can't, then you shouldn't be the principal."
Li Shan had never suffered such humiliation in her life. She was so angry that she spoke without restraint, and her face was contorted with rage.
She refused to believe it. With the Li family's connections, killing a few students wouldn't be a problem. Since her eldest uncle wouldn't help her, she would go back to her third uncle, and if that didn't work, she would go to her father. Eventually, she could get rid of these eyesores from the school.
Ignorance is bliss; she assumed that the children were just counting people and that her great-grandfather was not an official at all.
*Smack*
"You bastard, who gave you the audacity to spout such nonsense? You did something wrong and you still think you're right?"
Vice Principal Li was furious. He was a dignified vice principal, yet a junior had questioned his abilities in front of so many people.
The Li family never engages in deception; his position as vice principal was earned through genuine talent and hard work, and he rightfully holds it.
He usually dotes on this niece. She's the only girl in the Li family. To put it bluntly, if she wanted the stars in the sky, the family would find a way to get them for her.
