Yu Haixiong stared at the departing figure with a gloomy face, his hatred almost solidifying.
He was a complete scoundrel. Apart from his decent-looking face and silver tongue, he had no redeeming qualities. He was as lazy as a maggot, and his parents were driven to their deaths by him.
He unintentionally used his parents' savings to go south with his friends and bring back some small items to sell. He discovered that he could actually earn a month's salary in a day, so he started thinking about kidnapping people.
He needed capital, and after searching for a long time, he finally set his sights on Lan Jin, a woman who was spoiled rotten by her husband.
He didn't seduce Lan Jin because he liked her. Besides money, he also needed a woman to take care of his messy housework. He didn't want to have to do laundry and cook after finishing his stall.
I'm so tired.
His hands are for making big money, not for doing housework.
Having tasted success with Lan Jin, he believed himself to be incredibly charming, thinking that if he could seduce one married woman, he could seduce another.
But the woman who was prettier and richer than Lan Jin just now looked at him with disdain, as if she were looking at a pile of disgusting dog poop.
When self-esteem is hurt, ulterior motives for admiration turn sour, and hatred arises spontaneously.
etc!
He belatedly realized the key point: he was overconfident, just like your wife.
What's the meaning?
Does she know Lan Jin?
Was she taking her anger out on Lan Jin?
Three question marks appeared side by side above his head, and he turned his angry gaze to Lan Jin.
Why does she know you?
Lan Jin looked completely bewildered. "No, I only glanced at the opening from afar. There's no way she could recognize me."
"Brother Xiong, what do we do now? Are we going to wait here for three days? But we've already bought our return tickets."
Yu Haixiong stared into her eyes and, seeing that she didn't seem to be lying, his anger subsided somewhat.
This woman is so foolish she's lost herself; she's completely obsessed with him, so she probably wouldn't lie to him.
"What else can we do? What are we going to sell if we don't go back? Of course we're going to exchange the tickets. Why do you have to ask me about everything?"
To save money on sourcing goods and to sell them faster to make money, they booked return tickets for tomorrow. There was no stock left, so no matter how angry they were, they could only wait. They left the factory cursing and swearing with their brothers.
Xie Lin and his wife first went to the train station and found the train manager in charge of the train to Beijing. They showed their military ID and explained the purpose of the consigned goods. The manager assured them that the goods would be properly transported back to Beijing.
After explaining everything and asking Pengcheng about the mountains they could visit, the two went to a tea restaurant for a meal, where Shishi wanted to try the local specialties.
As luck would have it, I ran into that blond guy again at a tea restaurant near the train station.
After being kicked away by the "ghost," he lay on the ground trembling for a long time before his companions arrived and pulled him up. His companions pointed to the blazing sun overhead and scolded him for being stupid, saying that even the most powerful ghost is afraid of the sun and could not possibly appear during the day.
Why are they so sure? Because they are big fans of horror novels and have read countless ghost stories.
Since there were no ghosts, it must have been someone's doing. Someone used underhanded methods, and Huang Mao pinned the blame for making Xie Lin lose face on him.
Because he was the closest person to me at the time.
Even though I didn't see him stretch out his foot, I'll assume he did.
Therefore, when he met his enemy, he was furious.
With several brothers present, he wasn't afraid of being outmatched by the physically strong Xie Lin. Just as he was about to provoke him, he seemed to have thought of something amusing, stopped what he was doing, and a strange smile appeared on his lips.
He has his own people at the guesthouses around here; he's going to go big tonight.
Little beauty, wait for your brother. Once your brother has your man, he will cherish you dearly.
He thought no one would notice him because of the low wall, but little did he know that when Guagua habitually scanned the surroundings, he had already taken clear pictures of his ugly face.
"Master, Xie Choudan, that idiot's smile is lewd, he's definitely up to something bad."
"It's quite boring to eat in silence without a TV. I'll put on a show for you to liven things up after your food arrives."
Just as the couple finished responding, another group of figures walked in. They were acquaintances, and they sat down at the table next to the blond-haired guy, back to back.
One of them looked at them with the cold, sharp gaze of a knife, as if he wanted to dig out their hearts and rip out their lungs.
Tsk tsk, what a deep grudge! The person in charge said the next batch of goods would be shipped in three days and asked her if she still wanted them. She had already held back and said she would just wait. Why did she have to be so reckless as to kick a hornet's nest?
Shishi's eyes darted around, a mischievous glint in her beautiful eyes, and she offered an even more interesting suggestion.
"You stinky egg, quack quack, the police need to perform well, and bad guys need to be taught a lesson."
Xie Lin understood her meaning immediately, and Guagua was so excited that she danced with joy.
"Don't worry, Master, I'll definitely show you a grand thief-catching show."
The set meal I ordered arrived: claypot rice with Chinese sausage and bone broth, and chicken chop with scrambled eggs and stew.
It smells delicious, but the taste is a bit lacking. It's not that it's bad, it's just that I've had the good cooking of Guagua and Xuechen before, and my palate has become too picky.
After eating a few mouthfuls of rice, Huang Mao finished his meal and was drinking his post-meal tea when his hand slipped, and the cup of water flew out, not splashing on his face but landing on Yu Haixiong's backpack.
The seats were long benches with backrests. Lan Jin sat inside, Yu Haixiong sat outside, and their bags were placed in the middle.
The entire glass of water was poured down the zipper without spilling a drop.
Yellow Hair: ??? Would anyone believe me if I said the cup flew away by itself?
Knowing he was in the wrong, he turned and leaned against the back of the chair to pat the tea out of Yu Haixiong's bag, but the more he patted, the more terrified he became. Where was the water? Where had all the water gone? Could it be...?
"Comrade, your bag absorbs water really well, haha." He chuckled twice.
