Extra Chapter 1: I'm a Corpse, Not an Idiot

Clang, clang~

Huff huff huff~

Move, car, move faster!

The streets were devastated, a stench of decay permeated the air, and severed limbs were scattered everywhere.

Apart from the slow-moving creatures, there was no one for miles around.

A small, thin figure, with a stiff body, pushed a shopping cart and passed by leisurely without any obstacles.

Its grayish-white eyes darted around, and it let out two hoarse sounds towards the horde of corpses.

[Idiot, still sharing? I've already looted all the food.]

The horde of corpses kept making hoarse noises.

Put together, it means: You're the idiot, we don't eat food, we eat people.

"If we don't see eye to eye, there's no point in saying more," the corpse muttered, pouting, and declared his identity: "I'm a corpse, not an idiot."

Then they pushed the cart and left.

The shopping cart was overflowing with everything imaginable—food, drinks, toys, and more.

Suddenly, there was a noise from behind.

"There's a horde of zombies, be careful, little sister."

Humans have come to kill us.

In his haste, Shishi's hand trembled, and the wheel of the small cart spun around, getting stuck on the raised ground, unable to move forward.

His ashen face was expressionless, but inside he was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan.

[They're coming! The humans are attacking! What do we do?]

[You've got a brilliant mind! Think of something!]

I can't afford to lose my life.

His numb mind suddenly started working again, and he let go of the car and let it run on two legs?

No, the car is still here, and so is the body.

Heh heh, what to do? What to do?

The corpse was frantic, circling the car once, while the killing had already begun.

Thud, another severed arm on the ground.

Splash! Green blood gushed out onto the ground.

Her first thought was: It's over, those idiots are doomed.

I kept pushing the cart, but it still wouldn't move.

Seeing the murderous aura approaching, a wise person would stand still. He immediately listened to his brain, abandoned the car, avoided eye contact, and plunged headfirst into the pile of corpses, moving with lightning speed.

With a shrug and a kick, I label myself: I'm dead.

My mind is muttering to itself: You can't see me, you can't see me, you're all blind, you can't see me.

"Brother, do you want to dig out the crystal cores from those zombies over there?"

[Without Yuanyuan, my brain disappeared, flew away, exploded, and became sandy and shrewish.]

"Those are all chopped-off heads over there, there's nothing worth digging for. Sister, you go dig over there, but be careful."

【You're blind, young man. You've got potential. I hope your son has a big anus.】

"Wow, there are supplies here, bro! Look, there's food and toothpaste. I haven't brushed my teeth for days."

[Waaah, these are my food and bubbles! Don't steal them! Don't steal them! Or I'll curse you and make sure your babies are born without an anus!]

"That's right. Our team hasn't eaten for three days, and the supermarket ahead is empty. We thought there was no hope."

"But that's strange, I don't see anyone else, so why is there a small cart?"

[Nobody here, but there are corpses, zombies, and mindless creatures.]

She was baring her teeth amidst the pile of corpses, but unfortunately no one saw her.

"Who cares, bro? I'll just have a candy to tide me over. You can take it now."

[No, I won't allow it! It's mine! Waaah! You're so clever, you have to think of something!]

The corpse was so angry that it moved its legs, almost exposing itself.

There's nothing I can do. I'll go find food again next time.

The leg that had been propped up a little collapsed again.

Sigh, all my work for nothing today.

"Brother, should we take the car back?"

"No! That's my BMW! Don't take it! Get out of here! Get out of here now!"

"The car is a bit dirty, let's leave it and go meet up on the next street."

The bustling streets fell silent again, deathly still. The performer, amidst the pile of corpses, remained motionless, fully demonstrating what professionalism truly meant.

It wasn't until much later, when all that could be heard was the sound of the wind, that she got up, rolled her eyes around, and mechanically shifted her body from side to side. Seeing no one standing, she walked reassuredly toward the car.

I tried to push it, but it wouldn't budge, so I just picked it up and carried it.

Look at the sky, and your brain answers your brain.

It's getting dark, time to go home and get some beauty sleep.

Boom!

Flames shot into the sky.

The direction is right towards my home.

The bloodthirsty crowd threw one medicine packet after another.

He muttered curses under his breath, "Ugly things should go to hell."

The home is gone, the treasure trove was blown up, and the sky has fallen over the corpses.

[Ugh, my brain! That bastard is so awesome! My home is gone, I'm a homeless child.]

Brain's response: Run, you idiot, if you don't run, you'll be gone too.

Oh, run, run fast, but stand still.

Thud!

I bumped headfirst into a hard, bouncy chest.

They looked up and their eyes met.

He defiantly nuzzled his nose.

The scent smells so familiar, like I've smelled it somewhere before. And the green dress looks so nice.

A second later, my brain realized, "Oh no, it's a human! I'm doomed. Is it too late to play dead?"

The man who was hit first showed surprise, then his eyes were filled with sorrow. His eyes were red and his hands were trembling as he straightened the small cart that she was pushing over her head. His words were filled with heart-wrenching pain.

"Shishi, don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. Go hide there first, I'll find you later and take you to a safe place."

He pointed to a corner.

Shishi tilted her head and rolled her eyes, her expressionless face remaining unchanged.

How did he know my name was Shishi?

[Won't hurt me? Dodge? Green clothes.]

No, human territory isn't safe. Those in green clothes kill zombies too. Legs, get ready to work.

A large truck drove in, filled with people dressed in green. Shishi shook its little body and seized the opportunity to slip away.

So many people, it's terrifying.

She was unaware that a conflict had broken out between the soldiers and ordinary troops after she left, the cause being the food stored in her treasure trove.
