Chapter 214 Confession

The human trafficker didn't dare to joke with his own life, for he was afraid that this female devil would really break his neck.

It is better to live a miserable life than to die. Who wants to die when they can live?

He blinked to show that he would obey, and Qin An Ning used his other hand to pull the thing out of his mouth.

"Tell me, has a little girl of four or five been captured today?"

"No, we didn't go out during the day today."

Not them?

"So how many of you are there? Do you have any other accomplices?"

"No, there were only four of us this time. We slept all day and were planning to take action at night when we were arrested."

What the trafficker said matched what Lu Chang saw, so he probably wasn't lying.

Qin Anning continued to ask while analyzing the situation, "Where are you going to steal the child tonight?"

"As for the Peace Brigade you mentioned, we've all set up shop and are ready to make a big splash and leave."

"A big deal?"

"Yes, it's the captain's family. He has six children, one of whom is a newborn. We plan to get them here and evacuate overnight."

After hearing this, Qin An Ning already knew something was wrong. This person was playing tricks on her, trying to fool her with his words being seven parts true and three parts false.

She remained calm and continued to ask, "How many children have you arrested?"

"Five."

Qin An Ning suddenly tightened her grip on the trafficker's neck, causing him to have difficulty breathing and feel dizzy.

The militiamen nearby saw Qin An Ning suddenly become so ruthless that they didn't know why, but they couldn't really let her kill someone.

"Comrade Qin, calm down."

Qin An Ning relaxed a little, and the human trafficker breathed in the fresh air, gasping for breath, feeling as if he had just been through the gates of hell.

"Tell me, how are you four going to get rid of eleven children?"

Qin An Ning's cold questioning made the human trafficker's heart tighten. He didn't expect that this female devil was so meticulous in thinking, and she had discovered this.

They did have an arrangement where a car would pick them up at the roadside at 1am.

The reason why he cooperated and said so much was that he wanted to paralyze these people so that he could find a way to escape in the middle of the night.

"Tell me or not? If you don't, I'll really send you to see the King of Hell. Anyway, there are three more people. I believe one of them will definitely be willing to cooperate."

Qin An Ning slowly exerted force with his hands, and the feeling of suffocation came over him again.

Between death and confession, the trafficker chose confession.

After getting the information he wanted to know, Qin An Ning didn't waste time here. He handed him over to the militia and went to meet up with Director Yao and the others.

After telling him all the information he had received, Lu Chang became anxious. "They didn't catch Pan'er, so where did Pan'er go?"

Qin An Ning couldn't answer this question either.

Director Yao consoled him, "Don't worry. What he said might not be entirely true. We'll catch him and question him later."

There was no other good solution at this point. Besides, they were going to capture the Lu family's children anyway. Lu Chang would not be able to swallow his anger if he didn't capture them with his own hands.

After waiting for a while, the other two human traffickers came out stealthily.

This time, before they could walk far, Director Yao and his men who were lying in ambush caught the traffickers while rushing in to rescue them.

Qin Anning and Lu Chang both rushed into the house, hoping to see Pan'er here.

It’s a pity that there are only three people in the house.

This couple was not good people as they could harbor human traffickers. Director Yao ordered the two adults to be tied up as well, and the child was too young so he had to be watched by one person.

Others searched for stolen children.

This house is just two adobe houses. The furnishings inside are no different from those of other houses in the countryside. There is not much space to hide five children.

They didn't find anything in the house, nor in the warehouse outside. Yao Yongchun was just wondering what else he might have found when the little boy from that family spoke up, "They hid the people in the cellar."

In the Northeast, you can't plant anything in winter, and it's freezing and snowy outside, so every family digs a cellar in the house to store potatoes, radishes, cabbages and other vegetables for the winter.

Even if the child didn't remind them, they would have found it later, but he was able to say it out loud, which surprised everyone in the room.

The people on Director Yao's side didn't expect the little boy to tell them this, and the couple didn't expect the kid to have such a mind.

The two men glared at the little boy fiercely, and the boy shrank back in fear.

Director Yao sent people down to the cellar to rescue people.

Qin Anning squatted in front of the little boy and peeled a piece of candy for him. "Baby, can you tell your sister if they caught a little girl about your age today?"

The sister in front of him had a smile on her face and a gentle voice, which reminded the little boy of his mother.

In his vague memory, his mother treated him the same way.

He inexplicably liked this sister. He shook his head and said, "They didn't go out today. All they caught were boys."

Although he didn't get the answer he wanted, Qin An Ning still smiled at him.

The couple arrived at the village more than a year ago. At that time, the child was only three or four years old. Although she hated human traffickers, she would not vent her anger on such a young child.

The people who went down to the cellar had already brought up all the children, five of them, ranging from two or three years old to five or six years old, all of them had been drugged and were falling asleep.

They searched the house inside and out again, and after making sure that no one else was there, Director Yao and his men were about to return to the commune.

There are also their contacts who need to be captured and deployed again when we get back.

These children also need to be placed, their families need to be found, and the traffickers need to be interrogated. There is a lot of work to do.
