Chapter 306 Believe it or not

Xia Wan strolled alone through the bustling department store, dodging the crowds while curiously looking around. Before she knew it, she had arrived at the men's clothing section.

This place displays a wide variety of men's clothing, with novel styles and different colors.

Xia Wan's eyes were drawn to one of the men's shirts. It was a dark blue shirt, well-tailored, and the fabric looked very comfortable.

She stepped forward, gently picked up the shirt, and examined it closely, running her fingers over the fabric to feel its texture.

Just then, a waiter strolled over.

The waitress had a clear look of impatience on her face. She looked Xia Wan up and down with a sidelong glance, her eyes revealing a hint of contempt and disdain.

Then, she said arrogantly, "Hey, are you going to buy it or not? Stop picking and choosing here, what if you get your clothes dirty? Besides, your hesitation is just wasting my time!"

Hearing the waiter's rude words, Xia Wan frowned, but she did not respond immediately.

Instead, she chose to continue focusing on the clothes in her hands, as if she didn't pay any attention to the waiter at all.

However, the waiter was not going to give up.

Seeing that Xia Wan remained silent, she became even more arrogant and began to mock Xia Wan, saying, "Look at your shabby clothes, can you even afford such expensive clothes? You should just leave and stop making a fool of yourself and wasting everyone's time!"

After saying that, she snorted disdainfully and rolled her eyes at Xia Wan.

Faced with the waiter's repeated provocations and taunts, Xia Wan, who had remained silent, finally lost her temper.

She abruptly raised her head, staring directly at the waiter's disdainful face, and retorted without hesitation, "What? Do you think you're so great? You're just a salesperson, what right do you have to stop customers from looking at the merchandise?"

Xia Wan was furious. She thought to herself: Since this person looks down on others, then don't blame me for speaking harshly! Anyway, the other party has no manners whatsoever, so why bother being polite to her?

Xia Wan felt a little regretful, thinking that what she had just said might have been a bit too much.

However, to her utter surprise, the person in front of her completely failed to grasp the deeper meaning!

The waitress rolled her eyes dramatically, then snorted coldly, "Do you know how much this dress is worth? You dare to look around here? Put your filthy hands down right now, or you'll get my clothes dirty!"

Upon hearing these words, Xia Wan fell silent for a moment, but quickly recovered and looked the other person up and down with a pitying gaze before slowly saying, "In my opinion, you should go home and eat more pig's head meat to nourish your brain!"

If the waitress still couldn't understand that Xia Wan was actually insulting her at this point, then she would probably be a complete idiot!

As expected, the waiter's face instantly turned ashen, his eyes glaring fiercely at Xia Wan, his body trembling uncontrollably with anger, and he shouted furiously:

"What exactly do you mean by that? Where did this arrogant and ignorant wild girl come from? How can she be so unrestrained and ill-mannered!"

You have to understand, this job is quite good for a waitress, and with someone backing her up, she had long since developed an arrogant and haughty personality.

I've never met anyone so daring to openly challenge and talk back to her before!

Not to mention the plainly dressed, shabby little girl in front of me, who clearly looks like a country bumpkin from the countryside!

Xia Wan snorted coldly, her eyebrows raised, and she reprimanded the waiter mercilessly: "Hmph! Today, I, a wild girl from the countryside, will teach you a lesson and show you what it means to judge a book by its cover! I can definitely make you bow down and apologize to me obediently. Do you believe me or not?"

After saying that, Xia Wan stared straight at the waiter with her clear and sharp eyes, as if she wanted to see right through him.

At that moment, the waiter felt a chill rise from his spine and instantly spread throughout his body.

She was intimidated by Xia Wan's sharp gaze, and a surge of anger welled up in her heart, but more than that, she felt an overwhelming sense of panic.

However, despite this, she was unwilling to lose in terms of momentum to this seemingly unremarkable country girl, so she gritted her teeth and said defiantly, "Oh ho! Who do you think you are! Stop throwing a tantrum and acting like a spoiled brat!"

Although she spoke with a strong tone, her slightly trembling voice betrayed her inner fear and unease.

Faced with the waiter's stubbornness, Xia Wan simply raised the corners of her mouth slightly, revealing a confident yet slightly wicked smile, and said unhurriedly, "I'm giving you a piece of advice: hurry up and rein in your disgusting attitude, or you'll regret it later. Don't blame me for not warning you beforehand! You might regret it then."

As Xia Wan spoke, her voice wasn't loud, but the undeniable powerful aura she exuded weighed heavily on the waiter's heart, like Mount Tai pressing down on an egg.

At the same time, her icy eyes remained fixed on the waiter, never looking away for a moment.
