Chapter 307 A Special Gift

Before anyone could react, Xia Wan gracefully raised her hand, and as if by magic, a silver needle as thin as a hair appeared in her hand.

Immediately afterwards, with lightning speed, she thrust the silver needle straight into the waiter's neck.

In an instant, the silver needle pierced the waiter's skin like lightning. The entire movement was fluid and fast, so fast that it was impossible for anyone around to react.

However, this was just the beginning. Xia Wan acted swiftly, pressing down on the waiter several times in succession.

Each movement appears effortless, but the power and skill involved are beyond the imagination of ordinary people.

After completing these actions, Xia Wan slightly curled the corners of her lips, revealing a half-smile, and said softly, "Since this comrade doesn't want to sell me anything, then I'll have to leave!"

Her voice was soft and melodious, like the gentle song of a nightingale, but her words subtly revealed a hint of grievance that was clearly meant for others to hear.

As Xia Wan brushed past the waiter, she lowered her voice again, speaking in a volume only the two of them could hear: "If you know you've done something wrong, remember to bow and apologize to me. If you can't speak, then bow a few more times! I'll be waiting for you here."

Before she finished speaking, Xia Wan had already turned around and walked towards the counter next to her, pretending to continue picking out clothes as if nothing had happened.

The waiter, his face contorted with rage, glared fiercely at Xia Wan's departing figure, burning with anger and about to unleash a torrent of curses.

However, to her great horror, despite opening her mouth wide and trying her best to make a sound, it was as if something was blocking her throat, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't utter a single word.

In an instant, the waiter's face turned deathly pale, cold sweat poured down his forehead, and deep fear was evident in his eyes.

She looked around anxiously, hoping to get help from others. However, the other waiters were all busy with their own tasks and no one noticed what was happening.

In that instant, Xia Wan darted among the clothes racks like a nimble butterfly, swiftly selecting suitable clothes for her father and brother.

She moved with practiced ease and elegance, steadily holding the carefully selected clothing in her hands, and walked lightly toward the cashier.

At that moment, the waiter remained standing there, his heart filled with endless fear and helplessness.

She knew she had met her match this time, but faced with such a difficult situation, she was at a loss and had no idea how to deal with it.

After a brief hesitation, the waiter seemed to have finally made up his mind, gritted his teeth, and strode towards Xia Wan.

When she rushed up to Xia Wan, she grabbed his sleeve, her mouth opening and closing as if she wanted to say something urgently, but it was as if her throat was blocked by a wad of cotton, and she couldn't make a sound.

Xia Wan looked innocently at the excited waiter in front of her, blinked her big, watery eyes, and said softly:

"Oh dear, comrade, please let go! Don't pull me so hard! If you don't want to sell me these clothes, then forget it, I won't buy them. But why are you pulling me like this?"

After saying that, she shrugged lightly, her face showing an innocent and naive look, as if she wasn't the one who had just silenced the person.

Seeing Xia Wan's nonchalant attitude, the waiter was furious, and his body trembled involuntarily.

She stared intently at Xia Wan, her eyes wide, trying to convey her burning anger and deep resentment through her sharp gaze.

However, Xia Wan maintained a smile throughout, and her gaze was filled with extraordinary calmness and composure, as if she didn't care at all about the waiter's anger.

Xia Wan frowned slightly, her gaze falling on the waiter in front of her. She asked in a gentle and concerned tone, "Look at you, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell? If you're really not feeling well, why don't you go to the hospital?"

Xia Wan's words were full of sincere concern, making it clear that she genuinely cared about the waiter's health.

The waitress gently shook her head, but she knew perfectly well that Xia Wan was pretending to be confused.

So she tried to raise her hands and gesture in the air, hoping to make Xia Wan understand what she really wanted to express.

However, Xia Wan just stared at her with a puzzled look for a while, then suddenly seemed to understand something, slapped her forehead and said, "Oh! I get it, you must be trying to tell me that this dress can't be sold, right? But it's okay, I just bought a suitable dress from this kind comrade next to me."

After saying that, Xia Wan smiled smugly at another waiter beside her, took the new dress from that person's hand, and made as if to turn around and leave.

Just then, seeing that Xia Wan was about to leave, the waiter panicked and quickly reached out to grab Xia Wan's clothes tightly.

Her eyes were wide open, filled with anxiety and helplessness.

Xia Wan was pulled by her and had no choice but to stop.

She turned around and looked at the waiter with some impatience, saying, "No, comrade, why are you pulling me?"
