Then, she glanced at Xia Wan, who was standing silently to the side, with her contemptuous eyes. Her face was full of disdain, as if what she saw was not a living person, but an object that she found extremely repulsive.

Then, she said sarcastically, "Oh ho, so you want to get together? In my opinion, it's probably only because of certain people that you suddenly remembered I exist! If this cripple hadn't come back home, you, the head of the family, probably wouldn't have even thought of organizing any so-called family gathering, would you?"

These words, once spoken, were like a sharp knife, slicing through the already tense and oppressive atmosphere. The air in the room seemed to freeze instantly, making it hard to breathe.
