Chapter 106 The door was closed in broad daylight

Who would have thought that such a tattered and worn-out towel was what this man used to wipe his face?

Feng Tiezhu was used to being rough.

Leaving aside Feng Tiezhu, most men simply use a towel to meet all their needs.

What does it matter if there are a few holes in the towel? In Feng Tiezhu's eyes, his wife is now the only thing he can show off.

Sure enough, after watching his wife finish her meal and put down her chopsticks, he quickly stuffed the last steamed bun into his mouth and followed her off happily.

Chen Guiru, watching from the side, felt both gratified and disgusted.

"Wife...did I..."

Feng Tiezhu wanted to ask if the two of them had done anything last night, but he was afraid that he would not have performed well because he was drunk yesterday.

I was a little conflicted and hesitated to speak.

When Tang Lingling returned to her room, all she saw was a tattered towel hanging on the washbasin rack. She assumed he was asking if she had helped him wash up last night.

"You drank too much last night and just fell asleep on the bed. I only wiped your face and feet; I couldn't find your own foot towel, so I used the one on the shelf..."

Feng Tiezhu was taken aback. He had thought his wife was angry with him because he had been drunk and reckless the day before, but he hadn't expected it to be because of this.

He was saying that after washing his face this morning, he felt like he smelled like stinky feet everywhere he went.

After all, his smelly feet came from his father, and it's rare that his wife doesn't mind.

"My dear wife, you've worked so hard. You're so good to me!"

But the thought that he had actually fallen asleep on their precious wedding night was unbearable!

The regret of not consummating the marriage with Lingling kept welling up in his heart.

He thought he had eaten it, but because he was drunk and couldn't remember the taste, he was depressed for a whole morning.

Unexpectedly, it was because he was drunk that he didn't even have a chance to taste it.

Looking at his beautiful wife, his regret turned into a burning desire.

"Honey, wait for me a moment."

After Tang Lingling finished speaking, she saw Feng Tiezhu run out like a whirlwind. In less than a minute, he rushed back in and closed the door.

She looked completely bewildered.

Why close the door in broad daylight?

Feng Tiezhu rubbed his nose. "Dad went to the village committee office for a meeting and won't be back until noon. Mom also went out for something. Lingling, it's just the two of us at home now..."

He would never say that he rushed out just now to make sure that no one would disturb them later.

Tang Lingling hadn't reacted yet when she saw Feng Tiezhu taking off his coat in the room, and then she belatedly blushed.

This is in broad daylight!

"How could you be so indecent in broad daylight... Even if you were, you could at least wait until night..."

"I can't wait any longer... Besides, Lingling, you're my wife. I can forgive you for not letting me before, but we got married yesterday..."

At this point, the man sounded somewhat aggrieved: "I didn't even get to enjoy that right on our wedding night..."

Snow melts very quickly after the end of the twelfth lunar month.

The apricot tree in the yard had quietly sprouted new leaves, and two sparrows were perched on its branches, chirping and twittering.

Spring has truly arrived, all things are reviving, and it's the season for animals to reproduce and thrive once again.

In the newlyweds' new home yesterday.

The young and strong man worked hard for a long time but couldn't figure out the method. He was so anxious that he was sweating profusely and his mouth was dry.

He was itching to indulge but didn't know how, until he pulled a book out from under his pillow...

This opened up a new world...

Like swallows returning to the forest.

Harmony among all things, and timely rain after a severe drought—this is generally how it is.

When the clouds and dew begin to clear.

Tang Lingling looked at the straw on the roof.

If she had known how useful those two little pieces of clothing were, she would never have worn them today, even if you beat her to death.

And that book, why didn't she just stuff it under the bed last night...?

Tang Lingling felt a surge of anger whenever she thought about how all of this stemmed from the things Wen Qinghe had sent yesterday.

A small courtyard at the foot of the mountain.

Wen Qinghe was leisurely sunbathing on a deck chair under the eaves.

The sun was shining brightly, but she suddenly sneezed several times.

This startled Yan Xiao, who was chopping wood nearby.

He quickly put down his axe and ran over, wiping the sweat from his forehead with a towel before pressing his head against the little girl's forehead.

His expression softened slightly only after realizing his body temperature had returned to normal.

"Are you feeling unwell anywhere? Is it too windy here? Let me carry you inside."

As she was about to lift him from the recliner, Wen Qinghe pressed down on the man's large hand.

"I'm fine. I'm not a porcelain doll. It's very comfortable to sunbathe here. Besides, I won't see you chopping wood if I go inside."

As he finished speaking, a gleam appeared in the man's eyes.

The next second, a burning kiss landed on him.

Their lips were filled with the sweet scent of the young girl, and they only released each other when they were both panting.

"Okay, then be a good boy/girl, I'll come over as soon as I finish chopping the firewood."

"Um."

Yan Xiao's heart melted when he saw her obediently nod.

He tucked a small blanket over her before going over to chop the remaining firewood.

As Wen Qinghe watched the man chopping wood faster than before with a swift stroke of his knife in the distance, she inexplicably thought of the booklet she had given away yesterday.

In this era where communication was limited to books and there were no smartphones or the internet.

She has to go to great lengths to share any strange or unusual knowledge with her best friend.

With pictures and text, Lingling should be able to understand it, right?

Tang Lingling: Thank you so much! You're so understanding! What she thought would be over in two minutes was completely different!

Around noon, Tang Lingling heard her in-laws knocking on the door and talking outside.
