It's simply impossible to imagine her suffering this injustice for no reason.
"Bullshit! Say you don't know me again and see what happens." Who would have thought that this seemingly kind old lady could be so ferocious?
"I'll say it again, and it will be the same answer: I don't know you, I don't know you." Jiang Anxia's eyes gradually showed impatience.
Why does no one else encounter such an unreasonable old lady?
"Go to hell!" In a fit of anger, Old Mrs. Zhou kicked Jiang Anxia.
Jiang Anxia stepped back, avoiding Old Mrs. Zhou's foot.
"That's enough. If you keep doing this, don't blame me for calling the police." Jiang Anxia was truly furious.
The person in front of her was a complete stranger; this unexpected disaster was truly baffling.
“Go ahead! See if I’m scared.” Old Mrs. Zhou remained unmoved.
She felt that Jiang Anxia was just trying to scare her and wouldn't actually go.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Anxia sneered and walked away from Old Mrs. Zhou toward the police station.
When Grandma Zhou saw Jiang Anxia leave immediately, she panicked.
She quickly turned around and grabbed Jiang Anxia's hand. "Stop right there! Who told you to go? I'm your future mother! How dare you treat me like this? Once you marry into this family, you'll be sorry!" Old Mrs. Zhou said fiercely, hoping to scare Jiang Anxia.
But is Jiang Anxia really that easily frightened? Especially when it's something that Old Mrs. Zhou made up out of thin air.
She flung Grandma Zhou's hand away, and the coldness in Jiang Anxia's eyes almost solidified.
"None of what you're saying will happen." It turns out some people are only kind on the surface.
Jiang Anxia initially showed the old lady the utmost kindness, but now it seems that kindness was somewhat unnecessary.
"You..." Old Mrs. Zhou clutched her chest in anger, gasping for breath.
When Jiang Anxia saw the old lady Zhou like this, she instinctively wanted to help her up, but then she thought that the responsibility for this situation did not lie solely with her.
But there was still a hint of worry in his eyes that was hard to detect.
She was genuinely afraid that something might happen to Old Mrs. Zhou.
After taking a few deep breaths, Grandma Zhou calmed down, and her gaze immediately fell on Jiang Anxia.
"You little hussy, if anything happens to this old woman, you'll be in big trouble."
"I'm curious, how did you make her suffer? Tell me carefully." Upon hearing Old Mrs. Zhou's words as soon as she came out, An Yuning's expression instantly turned cold.
His precious little girl can do whatever she wants. If anything really happens, her brothers will be there for her.
"None of your business, you brat who hasn't even grown his hair yet." When Grandma Zhou saw An Yuning, she was stunned for a moment, but after realizing what he said, she scolded him angrily.
"This really concerns me. It's about my little girl. I don't even want to talk about it. Who gave you permission to say it?" An Yuning's face turned extremely ugly, and her hands, which had been hanging at her sides, clenched up.
If it were a man in front of him, An Yuning might have already stepped forward and beaten him up.
"Xiaxia, come here and stand behind me." An Yuning's gaze fell on Jiang Anxia, and she also looked her over.
An Yuning felt relieved when she saw that Jiang Anxia was the same as when she left home.
Jiang Anxia obediently walked over and stood next to An Yuning.
"Second brother, I don't know her. She said some strange things to me as soon as I stepped out." Jiang Anxia explained the whole story in just a few words.
"Yes, I understand." An Yuning nodded, a glint of light flashing in her eyes.
Grandma Zhou, standing to the side, looked at the two who were clearly intimate, and a hint of malice flashed across her face.
"Young Master Mi, why don't you just admit how much stuff you took from my son? You little slut."
"Old woman, watch your words, or I can't guarantee what might happen." This time, An Yuning was completely enraged.
Before he came out, he had no idea how long the little girl had been listening to those filthy words.
"Ha, this old woman has one foot in the grave, why would I be afraid of you?" Old Mrs. Zhou clearly saw An Yuning's restrained expression, otherwise she wouldn't be so arrogant.
"Heh, you can't do anything about it, but as for your family, that's another story." If An Yuning really takes action, the fate of Old Mrs. Zhou's son will be a completely different story.
No one has ever been able to threaten him in his entire life.
If he can't solve it, there's still An's father!
He refused to believe that his family, with several grown men, couldn't handle the situation.
"Mom, Mom, what are you doing here? You didn't even say you were coming out. What if something happened to you?" A man of about twenty-six or twenty-seven suddenly appeared around the corner. He looked anxious and started complaining as soon as he got to Old Mrs. Zhou's side.
Honestly, Mom didn't even say a word before coming out. Isn't this just causing them trouble?
Zhou Zhao complained inwardly.
"Oh! My youngest son! You've finally come! If you hadn't come, I would have been bullied to death!" Upon seeing her son, Old Mrs. Zhou exclaimed instantly.
"Mom, what are you talking about? Who would dare to bully you?" Zhou Zhao was completely bewildered; he had no idea what had happened.
"They, they're the ones who bullied me." Old Mrs. Zhou raised her hand and pointed at Jiang Anxia and An Yuning.
She's quite adept at filing complaints.
Her son is strong and healthy, and looks much better than that white-striped one.
In Mrs. Zhou's heart, her son was omnipotent.
What Mrs. Zhou didn't know was that the reason her son treated her so well was because of the money notes she had hidden.
Otherwise, why would Zhou's three sons willingly come out to find her? It's all just for money.
Zhou Zhao looked up and immediately saw the girl he had seen by chance that day.
In that one glance, the pretty girl sprouted and took root in his heart.
Seeing Zhou Zhao looking over, Jiang Anxia also looked back.
She was curious to know what kind of person had caused her to suffer such an undeserved misfortune.
Their gazes met in the air.
Zhou Zhao's eyes were filled with tenderness, while Jiang Anxia's were much simpler; she simply glanced at him once before looking away.
She was indeed quite good-looking, with delicate features, but there was a hint of something in her eyes that she couldn't understand.
In the moment Zhou Zhao met Jiang Anxia's gaze, the hand that was supporting Old Madam Zhou stiffened, and she felt a little awkward.
Before he could even find out who she was, she appeared in front of him.
Does this prove that they are destined to be together?
"My youngest son? My youngest son?" When Zhou Zhao didn't answer her, Old Mrs. Zhou couldn't help but call out.
Zhou Zhao, who was immersed in a beautiful fantasy, was suddenly woken up.
For a moment, a look of dissatisfaction with Old Mrs. Zhou appeared on his face.
