Jiang Anxia picked up a steamed bun and took a big bite.
Mmm...delicious.
One bite and you'll taste the filling; the skin is thin and the filling is plentiful, so it seems that Jiang Mu and Zhou Laidi made them themselves.
Otherwise, how could there be so much filling?
The filling is cabbage, with a little meat added, but not much.
Jiang Anxia ate her fill.
However, she didn't eat much; she has a small stomach, and one steamed bun and a bowl of porridge were enough to fill her up.
"Xiaxia, have some more." With that, Jiang's mother picked up a steamed bun and gave it to Jiang Anxia.
Jiang Anxia looked at the steamed bun in her hand with a sense of wanting to cry but having no tears. She was already full!
Hopeful eyes turned to Jiang Nanqiu.
"Third Brother~"
Jiang Nanqiu looked at the little girl helplessly, "Give me half, and you can eat the rest yourself."
Although he wanted the little girl to eat more, she had a small appetite, which couldn't be changed overnight.
We can only take it one step at a time.
"Okay." Hearing this, Jiang Anxia happily broke off half of the bar and handed it to Jiang Nanqiu.
I'm so happy to have such a brother! (?o?╰╯o??)
Jiang Anxia was happy inside, and a sweet smile appeared on her face.
After breakfast, the Jiang family members gathered in the main room, chatting about various topics.
Even though Jiang Anxia had seen this atmosphere many times, she still felt very warm, and a smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.
Jiang Anxia carried a stool to the doorway and sat down, watching the snow fall heavier and heavier, feeling a sense of peace in her heart.
The snow, which was initially light, started falling heavier during their mealtime.
Jiang Anxia had never seen such heavy snow in her entire life. In her previous life, she had always lived in the south.
In Nanshi, a city in the south, it might not snow for several years. If she wanted to see snow, she would have to go to another city.
But she was lazy and didn't like to go out much, which meant that in her twenty-odd years of life, she had only seen snow a few times, a handful of times.
Now she believes that she will see snow many more times in the future.
She's from the north, so she must see snow quite often.
Soon, under Jiang Anxia's watchful gaze, a thin layer of snow formed in the courtyard, and even the eaves were covered.
"Auntie, it's snowing so heavily!" Jiang Xing walked to Jiang Anxia's side and leaned against her.
“Yes!” Jiang Anxia immediately pulled Jiang Xing into her arms and made her sit on her lap.
"Auntie, no, I'm heavy." Jiang Xing struggled to get down.
Jiang Xing was afraid of crushing Jiang Anxia, so she didn't dare to struggle too hard and just slid down gently.
Jiang Anxia was afraid that she might drop the little girl if she didn't hold her properly, so she had no choice but to let go of the little girl's arms.
"It's not heavy at all."
Jiang Xing grinned and said, "Auntie is lying. Mom said that Xingxing has grown up and can't be held by just anyone anymore."
Jiang Anxia chuckled; this little girl was really amusing.
"Okay, Xingxing has grown up." Jiang Anxia affectionately stroked the little girl's head, but this time she was careful and only stroked it lightly, making sure not to mess up the little girl's hair.
"Hehe..." Jiang Xing chuckled, feeling really happy to be praised by her aunt.
"Where's my brother?" Jiang Anxia looked around the room but didn't see Jiang Wang, so she asked Jiang Xing.
"My brother went back to his room to read," Jiang Xing replied in a soft, sweet voice.
"No wonder, Xingxing will be going to school next year too. Aren't you happy?" Jiang Anxia had always known that Jiang Wang was sensible. Even though he was just a child, he was really good at self-discipline.
"I'm so happy, I can go with my brother!" On her brother Jiang Wang's first day of school, Jiang Xing cried and begged to go too.
Her family refused because they thought she was too young.
The little girl was upset all day because of this, and just wasn't happy.
"As long as Xingxing is happy." Jiang Anxia smiled gently.
Jiang Xing stared intently at her aunt, thinking that her aunt was more beautiful now than ever before.
"Mom and Dad, eldest brother and sister-in-law, third brother, I'm going back to my room, it's too cold." Jiang Anxia turned to look at the group of people who were chatting happily.
"Okay, if you're cold, go back to your room." Jiang's mother glanced at her daughter and then looked away, continuing to talk to Zhou Laidi.
"Go ahead!" Just like Jiang's mother, Jiang's father glanced at it and then ignored it.
Jiang Anxia paused for a moment, then stood up. "Xingxing, are you going with your aunt or to find your brother?"
"I'm going to find my brother." With that, the little girl took her short legs and headed towards Jiang Wang's room.
Jiang Anxia watched her enter Jiang Wang's room before heading to her own.
After entering her room, Jiang Anxia took a blanket from the wardrobe, draped it over herself, and sat down at the desk by the window.
Reading a book and occasionally glancing up at the snow outside the window—how wonderful!
Without further ado, Jiang Anxia found a book to read.
It's not a book for studying, but rather a book titled "How Sand Sculptures Are Formed." (Author's note: This is a title I made up; if such a book exists, it's just a coincidence.)
Jiang Anxia read it with great interest; it was the first time she had ever read a book like this, and it was really good.
"Knock...knock..." A series of knocks came from the courtyard gate.
Unfortunately, Jiang Anxia was so engrossed in watching that she didn't hear it.
Jiang Xing was the last to open the door.
"Uncle, are you here to see my grandfather?" Jiang Xing asked in a soft, sweet voice as she looked at Gu Yanzhu standing at the door.
"Yes, is he home?" Gu Yanzhu bent down to look at the little girl.
Who wouldn't love a well-behaved and sensible little girl?
