Jiang Anxia waved to Gu Yanzhu, then turned and entered the courtyard with a hearty smile.
Gu Yanzhu simply watched the little girl's figure slowly disappear before her eyes.
They didn't turn and leave until they could no longer see him.
Jiang Anxia, with her hands tucked in her sleeves, walked happily toward her room.
She was about to put away the gift Gu Yanzhu had given her.
Just as Jiang Anxia finished putting it down, the sound of Jiang's father and the others talking came from the courtyard.
This put Jiang Anxia at ease.
"Where is the child's mother?" Mr. Jiang called out to Mrs. Jiang from the gate of the courtyard.
"What are you shouting for? I'm right here," Jiang's mother shouted back from the kitchen.
"Hey! That's why I'm here, to see where you are!" Father Jiang, carrying the meat, trotted happily towards the kitchen.
Standing at the door, Jiang Anxia watched as her father grinned from ear to ear.
"Look at our dad," Jiang Zhuohua whispered to Zhou Laidi.
"Don't tell me, go tell Dad." Zhou Laidi rolled her eyes at Jiang Zhuohua.
Speechless, this man always manages to secretly complain.
“I dare not,” Jiang Zhuohua said confidently.
His expression was one of complete entitlement.
Zhou Laidi wanted to roll her eyes at him again.
Jiang Xing and Jiang Wang, the two children, glanced at their father speechlessly. They decided to go find their aunt instead.
"Auntie, Auntie!" Jiang Xing ran towards Jiang Anxia with her short legs.
As he approached, Jiang Xing slowed his pace.
I was afraid that my impact would be too great and I would bump into my aunt.
"Hey, come here." Jiang Anxia squatted down and hugged Jiang Xing tightly.
"Hehe..." Jiang Xing slowed down and ran into Jiang Anxia's arms.
"Silly girl," Jiang Anxia said with a smile.
"I'm not stupid." Jiang Xing pouted, unhappy.
Jiang Anxia now understands why people like to say she's stupid.
Because seeing others unhappy makes you happy.
"Okay, okay, our Xingxing isn't stupid, she's super smart." Jiang Anxia said softly, but you could clearly hear the perfunctory tone in her voice.
Even little Jiang Xing could clearly hear it: "Auntie, you don't need to take the time to fob me off."
"Ahem..." Jiang Anxia smiled sheepishly.
She thought the little girl wouldn't be able to tell, but now she not only did, she also exposed her mistake.
"It won't happen again next time. I will definitely answer you very seriously."
"Forget it!" Jiang Xing replied in a childish voice.
Her aunt's words were even more perfunctory than before, and she still wouldn't listen.
To avoid feeling upset.
"Alright, fine!" Jiang Anxia gave in.
If the little girl doesn't want me to say it, then I won't!
The little girl has grown up and is no longer easy to fool.
"Auntie, this is for you." Jiang Wang walked to Jiang Anxia's side and took out a small round ball from his pocket.
"Thank you, Wangwang." Jiang Anxia reached out and took the ball, examining it carefully.
Then, to my surprise, I discovered that the broken snowflake pattern inside the sphere was quite beautiful.
"Where did you find Wangwang?" Jiang Anxia began to wonder where Jiang Wang came from.
"I swapped it with a classmate," Jiang Wang replied like a little adult.
He got it from a classmate.
Jiang Wang knew about the sphere because a classmate had accidentally put it in his pocket and brought it to school. It fell out unintentionally and Jiang Wang saw it.
At first glance, he felt that his aunt would definitely like it, so he took out all the small bills he had and exchanged them with that classmate.
To his delight, the classmate agreed immediately.
"Auntie, Auntie, I have something for you too!" Seeing that Jiang Anxia's attention was on her brother, Jiang Xing quickly interrupted their conversation.
"Wow! Xingxing is so kind to her aunt." Jiang Anxia smiled gently.
"Yes, I'll go get it for my aunt." With that, Jiang Xing ran towards her room with her short legs.
Jiang Anxia squatted there, watching Jiang Xing's back.
"Auntie, I'm going to read a book," Jiang Wang said softly, glancing at the spot where Jiang Xing had run off to.
Even if he's outside, he won't have anything to do, so he'll just stay in his room and read.
"Okay, go ahead! Remember to balance work and rest." Jiang Anxia wouldn't say no.
It's something to be happy about that your child loves reading.
Jiang Anxia watched as Jiang Wang returned to his room.
From the window, Jiang Anxia could still see Jiang Wang picking up a book to read.
"Auntie, I'm here!" Jiang Xing waved her little hand and ran excitedly toward Jiang Anxia.
"Slow down, be careful not to fall." Seeing the little girl running faster and faster, Jiang Anxia quickly stood up and walked towards Jiang Xing.
"No, Xingxing is very careful." Knowing that her aunt was worried about her, Jiang Xing slowed down.
"Auntie, look, this is for you." Jiang Xing held up the things in her hands in front of Jiang Anxia, wanting Jiang Anxia to praise her.
"Xingxing is so great." Jiang Anxia praised sincerely, taking the drawing paper from Jiang Xing's hand with one hand and patting Jiang Xing's little head with the other.
"Hehe." Jiang Xing smiled shyly, her face turning bright red.
Jiang Anxia's gaze fell on the drawing paper in her hand.
The drawing shows a figure from behind, but Jiang Anxia is certain that it is her.
As for why she was so sure, it was because the girl's back view and the way her hair was braided looked very familiar.
It was Jiang Anxia's favorite fishtail braid, braided from the top of her head down, strand by strand, clearly visible.
Aside from her back view, the rest of the scene was familiar to Jiang Anxia; it was how she looked when she went up the mountain.
Lush green trees, and the path that Jiang Anxia often walked.
Jiang Anxia was familiar with each and every one of them.
"You drew the stars yourself! They're so beautiful." Jiang Anxia was telling the truth.
The little girl's drawing is quite beautiful; at least it's easy to understand what she's drawing at a glance.
Most importantly, Jiang Xing did not formally study painting; it was all the result of her own hard work.
"I'm glad my aunt likes it." The little girl smiled sweetly when she heard that her aunt liked it.
"Does Xingxing like to draw?" Seeing that Jiang Xing had a talent for drawing, Jiang Anxia wanted to teach Jiang Xing to draw.
But the prerequisite for teaching is that the little girl likes it.
After all, interest is the best teacher.
"I like it." Jiang Xing nodded.
She loves to draw, but no one teaches her; so she has to figure it out on her own.
"Then your aunt will teach you, okay?" Jiang Anxia asked softly.
In her previous life, she studied painting, but not for very long, only a year or two.
It wasn't a long time, but the drawing is still quite good.
"Great! Great!" Hearing this, Jiang Xing was even happier.
She enjoys drawing and is willing to learn to draw seriously.
"That's good. Starting tomorrow, I'll teach you for two hours every day, and the rest of the time you can study on your own." Jiang Anxia thought for a moment.
It's winter, so I won't teach for too long, otherwise my hands will be stiff and I won't be able to draw anything.
