Chapter 50: Better than the best

He came out again to wash his face, and went to He Hongjuan's room to get some cold cream to apply on his face. He didn't eat or sleep well on the train, so his face was peeling.

He Hongjuan heard the noises of her tossing and turning, and she didn't know what she was thinking, but she didn't even curse at her.

It was around three in the afternoon when they arrived at the station. When Ning Xi woke up, it was already nine in the evening and the room was pitch dark.

They found a kerosene lamp in the dark and lit it. Lin Yongjun, his wife and the old lady were all lying on the kang, obviously they had eaten long ago.

Ning Xi glanced at the cupboard; it was still locked.

The first time is new, the second time is familiar. This is not a problem for her. She turned around and took out a thick piece of wood from the sundries.

He also used the oil at the bottom of the pan to make pancakes.

A bite of pancake and a bite of egg, the smell was so delicious that the three people on the kang couldn't help swallowing their saliva while feeling sorry for the oil.

"Troublemaker——" someone muttered in a low voice.

Ning Xi swallowed a mouthful of pancake and fried egg, "If you keep barking, I'll pour the pot washing water on the kang. No one can sleep. Anyway, I've had enough rest."

As soon as she finished speaking, the room returned to silence, with only the crackling of the burning wick and the sound of her chewing her food.

Sure enough, as long as she is better than the best, the best can't do anything to her.
